I retuned 2 of three tops I ordered in Oct. 2022. Woman Within sent an email that they received my return.My total bill was $74.86. I recieved a bill in Noevmber and they requestd a min payment of $30. (The top I kept was $18.49. I made a payment $30. Dec. Came around and they wanted another payment. I didn't check for a bill so then I was penalized $39.00 late fee. I expected to recieve my credit before December. I called customer service and was told they would remove the late fee. I paid $30. AgainThey did not remove late fee! January still no refund an I received another late fee on January 2. Billed date Jan 1. They stated my balance was now $46.86. I paid the balance in full just to get this cleared up. Jan 10th I see a reminder that I will have a bill coming Feb. 1. So far I have given them $106.86 for a $74. Order that I only kept a top for $18.49. I emailed them and have not recieved a response. I contacted the BBB and am forwarding all my info I have and am sending to the Att. Gen. Of New York. This is outright fraud. This company is stealing our money. I cut up my card and will never order from them again. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Too bad there isn't a Class Action suit filed for this corruption. I would certainly like to send my complaint to someone who can resolve this issue.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I work from home and I don't have a car. So it's no surprise that my shopping is done online. This order was requested by my MIL so I ordered this for her. Item said delivered but never came. I said you know what sometimes that happens and gave them 2 more days. When I reported to the company, Woman Within, j was told to request a refund/replacement I had to fill out an affidavit and mail it back. I thought that was weird but you know it probably weeds out the scammers because they wouldn't put in the work. Fine I'll fill it out and requested a copy be sent to me as I don't have access to a printer. Was quoted 7-10 business days to receive it, again it never came. Now my mailbox is locked and xan only be accessed by a key. I gave additional time again because I don't want to be a nag. I reached out AGAIN and was told we'll send another but you should just print it off. I repeatedly said i dont have access. They don't care. Another 7-10 business days. And they have a 60day policy. I spoke with 3 reps, another 1 on chat, then Susan then Ginger a "specialist". I was told that I better get the affidavit in before the 60 days or else they won't do anything. All of there request methods require physical mail there are no upload or email features. No alternatives. They refuse to express mail the affidavit. Basically it's my fault that I don't have a printer and I'm SOL. This is a scam company and I hope no one who reads this, is subject to this unprofessional company. So in the end I'm out $85, no coat, no affidavit, no service. Do not order from here.
I returned an item and was issued a gift card. When I placed an order using that gift card and my credit card for the remaining balance I was charged the entire amount to my credit card. They now say that they cannot correct it because the item has already been processed and that I will need to place another order to use the gift card. I DO NOT WANT TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A RETURN.
Ordered black boots, received a white shirt. They say I have to ship it back and be charged a second charge and the first will be reversed after they get the white shirt. Paid $72.66 and received a $2 tee shirt! The sticker on the shirt clearly says blk bootie size 9WW.
Both times I tried ordering from Woman Within I got badly made clothing, cheap fabric, terrible customer service and encountered a horrible return policy. That last, by the way--the return policy--includes a restocking fee after they've made you send back the merchandise at your own expense. And if you don't manage to do it within sixty days, their unempowered customer service reps (echoing to you over the phone from some distant land) can only utter impotent, insincere and agonizingly drawn out "apologies"--no solutions.
How hard would it be to let me speak to someone who actually could consider helping me with my problem? I did spend sixty dollars at their sham of a company. I would've thought it would be in their interest to resolve the issue with me rather than loose another deeply dissatisfied and downright angry customer into the world. Thanks to their negligence, they have another former customer who gets pissed every time they hear the name of the company or look at the useless items they wasted money on. Thanks to their unwillingness to work out a small return issue they've pushed another woman passed the point of "mildly unsatisfied" into "motivated to warn everyone what a $#*!show is Woman Within."
ALWAYS call in and order because if you do it online, put coupon code in box hit apply it doesnt apply it! I just talked to someone from women within and they said they cant give me the discount! It happeded twice now! No longer a customer!
The first time I ordered from them I was unable to get help returning the item and I gave up trying.
The second time I was getting something for my mother-in-law so I decided to try again. It said 40%off so I went ahead. It took me 45 minutes to order because of pop up ads asking me to create an account or buy more merchandise. When I finally got to checkout I found that standard shipping was $18.
Next time I'll skip Woman Within.
By the way, the first review website that shows up if you want to review Woman Within is Consumer Affairs. It showed good reviews and it wouldn't let me create an account.
Horrible spent 126 July paid off the 126 in august was charged 2.00 no statement in Oct received a statement for 6.00 paid it off dec received a statement for 2.00 fee and 18.00 late fee off a zero balance customer service is in India near impossible to understand them
You are charged handling fee when ordering and again when you return so your refund is nowhere near what you originally paid. Never again.
I see all of these bad reviews and can't understand why. I have had nothing but success when placing an order. They even sent a holiday card with $50 off $100 or $100 off $200. I love this company!
STAY AWAY from this company! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! They charge you a shipping fee to get your merchandise and also when you return it, no matter what form of return you use.
I drove 60 miles round trip to their "RETURN BAR" at Ulta Beauty. They STILL charged me another10.00 convenience fee to get my money back. Hmmmm bought 28.00 worth of items, which did not fit and poorly made. Paid 10.80 to ship. Returned to their shipping location and then hit with another 10.00 fee. What a rip off!
If you have a return of their crappy clothing, you get charged to return it. Their credit card is a total rip off. I pain mine off and closed it. I'm won't do business anymore with them.
I placed an order to be sent to my mothers house in Maryland. They refused to discuss anything solutions
and said it was my fault. They would not take a return.
The customer service staff are not professional. Instead of helping with the customers issue they will leave the chat and not worry about it at all. That's unprofessional! Also, once I placed my order it took 2 weeks to process and another 5 days to leave the warehouse. And of course shipping takes a while so I am not so upset with that. In order to keep customers satisfied with their time here, then look into your staff, some are helpful and others are not the slightest helpful. & don't get me started with the staff that gave me attitude for asking where my package was and why it was not shipped yet. Not shopping here again. Its a HEADACHE! Save your time and patience!
I purchased 2 pairs of boots from their website. Both pairs were $43.99, quite expensive for a man made material, but beggers can't be choosers when it comes to a WW size 12 foot. They also offered a 40% off your highest item. One pair worked great, the other quite small. I was expecting to be able to return the bad pair for $43.99 but they are only letting me return them for $26.39 and not letting me use the 40% on the pair I am keeping. Their CS reps are rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused. I will not give the compamy my business any longer. There are more companies stepping up the plus size market that I no longer need to give my money to an inconsiderate, hateful business! They will be their own demise!
This is on me because I went through a similar experience with them in 2021, but I decided to try again. I chose express shipping for 3 - 5 business days and paid extra. The order history online is not saved and the email confirmation does not indicate that you paid for such. The customer service reps will not transfer you to a supervisor and when you do get a supervisor, they are a complete joke. They try to make you think that you selected standard shipping when you're absolutely certain you chose express. In 2021, I never received the item nor did I receive a credit for the express shipping. They refused to take the charge off of my woman within credit card and refund the express shipping charge. I am dealing with the same exact thing now. Items were said to have been shipped 10/2 and was supposed to be here by 10/7... it's showing that the items are sitting in a FedEx facility pending. FedEx ground does not even take that long. I strongly advise not to patronize Woman Within, they are a complete sham, the clothing over the past few years have been made cheap, orders take months to be delivered (oftentimes the wrong size, item, and/or color), and they absolutely bait and switch with shipping.
They keep lying on when the pants I ordered over a month ago are coming in. I ordered four pairs and only one has arrived. To get a straight answer is impossible and returning is impossible. As of right now, I would avoid this company. I have nothing to take a picture of because won't arrive. Now saying after Christmas.
You don't get what you order and you get charged for EVERYTHING you did not order. Would Never Recommend!
Please... please i beg you you deserve better. I know its hard to find big clothes and to afford them... but this is absolutely the very last company you should consider.
Answer: I don't know about charging for each item but you are always charged a shipping fee for returns even if the mistake is their fault.
