I recently ordered from Women Within. I am inundated with e-mails and catalogs from them which I usually discard. I have ordered from them before and it has been hit and miss mostly miss due to very poor quality and sometimes fit. I don't know what persuaded me to order again but I did - a pair of leggings, a bra, and a top which I have yet to receive. The leggings and bra came - the leggings material was not soft like the catalog said -stiff material and the pattern on the legs does not look right. The bra was ill-fitting -some extra material under the cup not sewn right- not due to me ordering the wrong size.I am hoping the top is decent enough but not holding out any hopes and also extra long delivery on the top. From now on when the catalog comes it is going directly in the garbage-which in my opinion is what their clothes are -garbage
This is the worst company to deal with, would not take code. Called to place order wrong item sent nothing fit and not as advertised in description then essentially charge you 10.99 to try on and return no wonder Amazon does so well. Customer Service was non existent

They have been charging me for a monthly membership fee of $16.95 for FOUR months that I didn't sign up for. Sometimes their clothes are okay, but the shipping fees are outrageous. So sick of this company!
Placed order in September received only part of order in October and paid for that in November. Received rest of order in November which didn't fit well and followed return policy to return. Would not credit account and they said I should have cancelled order before I received it. Trying BB and see how that goes.
Make sure of your purchases with Woman Within and hope that you do not need to return anything as they charge 20.00 for processing and handling. So you'll not get back your total amount of purchase.
Don't buy anything from this company. They appear to be a scam. I spent approximately $152.00 for nothing. I did not get the order and they won't give me my money back. I ordered and paid for it through PayPal who can do nothing because it is showing the order was delivered according to their response from Woman Within. There is no picture taken of the place where the order was delivered. I can't even confirm if they sent my order at all. When I finally contacted them after waiting an excessive amount of time to receive my order, they appeared to not be concerned. They said they would send me an affidavit which would take approximately 10 days which;never came. They finally sent one by email and when I followed up on my submission, the said they were working on it and then nothing. Not a word from them. It looks like I am out of this money. Their products look good in the magazines; but, it is probably all a hoax.
I have been ordering clothing from Woman Within for the last 15 years, but I am done with this company due to shady practices. I ordered three t-shirts that are advertised as 100% cotton. These are the same shirts I have been ordering for years. They are now 60% cotton/40% polyester, and they are rough like sandpaper! The sizing tag that is sewn into the side is usually made of soft nylon, and now it is made of plastic. If you cut the tag off, you have to sew the side of the shirt, since it is sewn into the seam. I will be donating two of the shirts now, since they have already been washed. The third one that was returned was charged a return fee of $9.99, even though the item was falsely advertised. Customer service is absolutely worthless! There should be some class action suit against a company that lies about their product and has such a shady return policy. They will no longer get any money from me!
Company made offers of reduced prices but refused to apply because I was not a card holder. Refused to cancel order even though order was still on site. Charged excessive shipping because I was not a card holder. Refused me to speak with supervisor. There is something wrong with this company to have these kinds of practices in play & getting away with it. They will NEVER see another penny from me & I will do my best to steer anyone else away from them.
I ordered a coat. It was at least a size too big compared to the label. Returned and got $50 back from an $80 purchase. In the end with interest on a restocking fee, I paid $57 for nothing. After calling, cancelling card and paying off a balance for nothing, I got another bill for $2 and a $9 charge to pay that off or get a $40 late fee. They had already cancelled the account so could not pay online.
Unbelievably incompetent company with customer service call center people who speak such poor English I could not understand anything said. What a horrible company to deal with!

I ordered a skirt. When I washed it (according to the washing instructions), it shrunk unevenly, so the hem was about 6 inches shorter in some areas than others. I returned it, and they refused to refund my purchase because I had washed it. I disputed it with my credit card company, and the credit card company gave me the money back. However, I just received a letter from a collection agency about this, so I guess they haven't given up, and now plan to ruin my credit rating instead of admitting that they sold a defective item.
I am so annoyed with how they acted that I have stopped ordering anything from not only Woman Within, but also all of the other catalogs from the same family of brands. I expect the companies I deal with to behave more responsibly. Selling defective merchandise is NOT ok, and expecting the customer to take the loss is even worse!
I tried to re-turn an item and after being told I had to pay $10.99 to get my money back I decided to re-order the item but was never given a credit so I ended up paying twice for it. Will never buy from any catalog associated with Woman Within.

I wouldn't waste my time ordering from this company unless you are a million percent right about your size because woman with does not give you a full refund. They take off the shipping & handling which they happen to forget until you start trying to figure out where the money went & why. Nothing but a bunch of crooks.

I purchased a Red Velour Pant Suit which was defective. The Executive Communications Department won't return phone calls or properly handle a return for my disabled Mother-in-Law. PLEASE SAVE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND PURCHASE FROM A RELIABLE COMPANY!
Wow! I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering from this crap catalog. The clothes are NOTHING like described or reviewed. I believe the reviews are FAKE because I tried to leave one, but once you submit a return they block you from leaving a review about the clothing, that there seems really shady to me! And for a plus size catalog, their clothes are SO wrong, I ordered the size I order in every other store, but due to Women Within BAD cheap policy of selling over priced clothes that feel like a burlap sac, they get away with it. THEN they charge you a fee to return the item and have the money put back on your Credit Card! That's BS! This place needs to go away! DO NOT order from them, the plus size clothing at Walmart is WAY better than this doo doo.
Your package arrives with an excess of catalogs which were included in the cost of shipping. I had the weight verified at my post office. My last 3 orders items were canceled without any notification. Most recent I ordered a jacket on 12/10/2022 and my order was canceled on 1/26/2023. And that item is now on sale.
Normally their packages come tightly sealed. This last order was ripped open and then packing tape shut very minimally. An item was missing and when I called to advise and wanting my item, Their agent:Shy" would only refund my price, even though I wanted the item. I had to really yell to get her to transfer me to a Supervisor, Jerry, who was not to much help either. I ordered the item in a 28 and they no longer had the color I ordered in a 28 but many others in a 28 but at a higher price. Instead of taking care of their customer and offer me the correct size in not the color I wanted but the next cheapest color. If I want the item I have to settle for a size 24, Which I will try but not to hopeful that it will really fit. Hope their sizes are way off. But they certainly do not care about their customer, when someone in their order process had to rip my package open and remove the item and then do a half $#*! tape job and ship it out. The sizing charts were way off and returning the order became a nightmare. No return label, the phone conversation incomprehensible and unsatisfactory. Refuse to pay shipping twice and am now stuck with this order. Wouldn't send a person i don't like to this company.
I ordered a woman's coat in my size and received a mens shirt size 5X. I promptly returned the shirt and requested a refund because the item I wanted was no longer available. They issued a credit to be used with their company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYONE ON THE PHONE. NEVER NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
The operator admitted on the phone that the pants I ordered were described as "pure cotton" in the catalog but were actually 90% polyester/10% nylon, that it was a "misprint", but they took no responsibility. She flatly refused to give me her name or pass me to a supervisor. What a waste of time and money.
Why is it that I pay $50 for a vest and it doesn't fit, so when I try and return it to order a smaller size they want to refund me HALF of what I originally paid? Is that a joke? What a horrible, bull$#*! company. I tried talking to customer service on their chat feature and it keeps closing the chat. RIP OFF $#*! MOTHER$#*!ERS
Answer: I don't know about charging for each item but you are always charged a shipping fee for returns even if the mistake is their fault.
