Give me my money back
January 30, 2023

I'm giving wisely a bad review because twice somebody was able to steal money from me the first time a lady took $450 from me the second time a man took $250 for me wisely said that was correct and that is not correct I don't even know these people I told them my identity has been stolen and they would not pay me my $700 back so this is most definitely a bad review they should give me my money back I'm a housekeeper I'm not rich I'm just trying to make it they don't understand what people does they don't understand what housekeepers go through and that's what I am a housekeeper and I barely have a place to stay I need my $700 and they will not pay it back

Horrible
January 28, 2023

Wisely is the most unprofessional online banking and business I've ever dealt with. If your card isn't sent to you, you'll have to wait continuously for more cards to potentially come. If your card doesn't come there is no way for your money to be moved to other accounts it's ridiculous. Not to mention the customer service is horrible not a lot of information is given on your account if they can't assist you they'll hang up. I don't recommend this company to anyone.

I activated my card and attempted to buy something from Amazon, but it wouldn't let me. I talked to a customer service rep and they said I needed to upgrade my card for online transactions (which was a lie). I do the process of upgrading my card, taking a picture of my ID and myself, and the next day, I got an email alerting me that my account would be terminated in 30 days, as they could not verify my identity. After talking to another rep over the phone, they just repeated what the email said verbatim.

I've had several issues with the customer service representatives at my wisely. Firstly, I would like to say I come from a call center background with over 10 years experience, more than half as a supervisor. With that being said, I called to cancel one of my cards, turned out they canceled the wrong one. I followed up to explain the situation, and ask they do not cancel the original card in question as I was hoping to do everything electronically being my only source of deposit (banks wont touch me due to a identity theft issue from the past year).
After putting me on hold for roughly 13 minutes, The representative came back and said she could do the transfers on her end, But didn't know how that would help as she had already canceled the card I specifically asked her not to cancel.
With all these mistakes being made and none of it on my end, comma I asked they overnight me a card so that my children and I could eat. They wanted to charge me $35 to overnight a card which actually would take at least 2 days. I explained I shouldn't have to pay that as they needed to take responsibility for their error. That was out of the question, So my children and I ended up eating at homeless shelters for roughly 2 weeks, taking food away from somebody who actually could not afford it.
Another interaction a few months thereafter I had a fraudulent claim on my statement, again canceling my card and attempting to charge me $6 for a new one...
I do not understand charging a customer or member of of an organizationFor happenings out of their control. Money grubbers.

Garbage!
January 15, 2023

Sorry...but it is what it is...GARBAGE! I was stuck for a ride home one day. I attempted to put money on my card so I could take and Uber or Lyft. But I was unable to do so. I called customer service but they were absolutely USELESS! They had no idea why I was unable to add money to my card. Instead of trying to help me get home. I pretty much got the "TS" push off. As it turns out...although I am/was properly registered by my employer to use as my payroll card...you have to go through a special sign up process. Why is it that their customer service doesn't know that? Now, I am attempting to sign up and it keeps sending me codes that DO NOT WORK. And now I cannot even get onto their website. I just keep receiving Error messages. Jeez! Get it together! A debit card that you cannot add money to, cannot access the site and have customer service that has no clue what is going on. Not exactly the kind of people I want holding on to my hard earned money!

Trash
January 11, 2023

It is absolutely ridiculous that through my job I get confirmations whenever my pay is processed and having early direct deposit I never see it when it's processed. Therefore the company is holding on to my money for longer than it should and instead of just leaving a review I tried to talk to customer support because they need to be reported to the better Business bureau instead of getting the information I need to report them they simply made it to where I could no longer type in the chat function so I called when I called we talked for about 60 seconds I mentioned that I needed the information to report them to the better Business bureau and they hung up and I have yet to be able to get in contact with them again. That's considered theft holding someone's money that you have no right to hold. If anyone knows the avenues I need to go down to have them reported please comment below

My wisely debit card
January 8, 2023

I would start by giving a rating, but they don't have a 0 star. Never use this card, my wisely is the biggest joke of a debit card. They'll take your money with you not knowing it, then there's no one to reach out to, to complain. I recently used mine inside at a gas station to purchase 75 dollars worth of items and gas. It said declined due to insufficient funds, knowing I had money on my card I tried again and it went thru. I check my account balance, and they took out two 75 dollar purchases even tho it was declined. I did nothing wrong, it was the debit card company's fault, and I have no way of getting it back until atleast five business days. I finally was able to get a hold of someone with the number on the back of the card, who couldn't speak a lick of English, and they pretty much said, yea you're screwed if you don't have any more money, you're just going to have to go 5 business days without eating or getting any gas. They could careless. I had 3 dollars left on my card, I needed gas, So I go to the pump, out my card in to use my remaining 3 dollars for gas. And it said declined see cashier. I check my wisely account, and my account says -97.00. It took out 100 dollars again without a purchase. So here I sit with no gas, no money, no food, I have to go to work Monday and it's Saturday night. No idea what I'll do. But hey it's the my wisely you're screwed card, what should I expect? My 75 dollars was due to be back on my card in two days, but now I'll have to wait those two, then three more days for the 100 dollars to go back on there before I can get my 75 dollars back. Never use this card, they're a joke, they're fraud, they hold your money when it's their fault. If I could find someone in town I could talk to about this issue I would most definitely do that, and let me tell you, it would not end well. If you're messing with someone's money and livelihood you should expect the worse. I hope everyone who has anything to do with the my wisely card rots in hell. Have a great day.

AVOID THIS CARD IF YOU CAN
January 7, 2023

I thought I had 3550 when I had 3350. My fault. I wanted to add money to CashApp and leave 150 on the card. I accidentally tried to add 3400, and CashApp told me they would only allow 3350 to be added, so I cancelled. I looked at my balance again, and it still showed 3350, and then I remembered. I went to add 3200 instead, and my request declined. I checked Wisely, and now my balance was 3400.

When I spoke with Customer Service, they told me they are keeping a hold on the 3400 until the 10th, and it was the 4th. They were extremely unhelpful and acted as if they barely understood why I had a problem. I've never seen anything like that happen from any financial institution before. This is a first.
Now I'm just waiting with nothing added to CashApp and a negative Wisely balance.

I've immediately switched my DD to my own bank and Coinbase. I hate Wisely and ADP for claiming them.

Worst prepay card ever
January 5, 2023

Have nothing but problems fraudulent charges EVERY month never get paid 48hrs early money amount Never right. I paid the expedited fee 3Xs for a replacement card to be here in 48hrs. 3 Xs the fee and the card took 5weeks next payday Another fraudulent charge different name on suppose company but exact amount of those disputed charges month previous yes the one I cancelled and paid three different times to receive. Now my paycheck is floating around Lord knows where Yes Now my direct deposit is screwed. Once again ABSO. NO help from the very rude and hostile employees No solution for my issues No supervisor to speak to No results for customer satisfaction. SAD I believe it's the company itself attaching these fraudulent charges to my account. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CARD TO MY ENEMY.

Do not get wisely
January 4, 2023

This card is the worst card service available. I needed to get my card replaced because it was compromised I asked the representative to allow me an hour to shut it down because I needed the funds in there. I get to the atm and my card was cancelled! I called them back they couldn't reopen my card so I payed the expedited fee to receive another card for 2 to 3 days I received my card 6 days later! I called them in the meantime to switched my funds to their check to be cashed mind you I must of went to 6 different banks and a cash a check and NO ONE would cash it so I had no choice to wait for my card all of this put my bills past due. Now I spoke to a widely manager who said he would refund my expedited card money I payed but I had to wait for my new card, ok so I called back now no one want to reimburse me not to mention my check was supposed to put the money back into my new card this 2 to 3 day process has turned into 2 weeks I'm so disgusted with their services it's ridiculous! I'm still awaiting my money and no one wants to reimburse me the 2nd time I asked to speak to a manager they refused and told me this was not allowed can you believe this! Frankly they should be ashamed of their services or who ever manages this! Trust me your better off getting your direct deposit into a bank you can literally walk into don't set yourself up for a disappointment it's not worth it at all!

I only downloaded this app because I was forced to thru my job if I wanted to use our anytime pay option. Basically, I could use a percentage of my earned wages before payday. Like most people, I live paycheck to paycheck,I am a single parent and I needed access to my wages early. The only way to access my early wages was to transfer it to this wisely app, after that I always transfer from wisely to my cash app immediately. Unfortunately, I accidentally entered the wrong amount to transfer in my cash app account. No problem right? Wrong! A decent platform would just decline the charges if there were insufficient funds. Not wisely! They actually processed the transaction on their end while cash app declined the transaction. So I had no funds in my cash app and now a negative balance in my wisely account. I called multiple times, I messaged chat support multiple times and got absolutely no where. It was as if each and every representative read every response they had from a training manual for dummies! They all blamed cash app for their lack of intelligence and inability to do their job. Cash app was great! They got right to the point and sent me confirmation immediately that no charges transpired and that no charges were pending. Wisely insisted that cash app had the charges pending so they couldn't fix my balance until the pending charges were removed. Basically, I lost my access to my funds, have a negative balance and now I'm expected to wait almost a week to see my balance corrected. Customer support lied, they made me feel as tho I was speaking to a door knob. I've never seen such incompetence in my life! If you want to know that you can't trust your money will be available in your account, use wisely! If a mistake happens and you have days to weeks to wait to access your own hard earned money, use wisely! If you want to speak to mindless idiots, call wisely support! Do yourself a huge favor, do NOT use this app! It is a risk that I definitely would have taken if I knew anything like this would happen.

This company sucks!
December 9, 2022

I've been hacked twice! I have to use this company because I'm a caregiver and this agency uses wisely. I've been working and getting paid for almost 3 months. I'm not getting paid what I'm supposed to get paid. I've called them a number of times and was treated like an idiot. If you don't have to use this company don't! I'm ready to pull my hair out.
