While they do have a wine club option, the thing that raises Wine Insiders above the rest is that you don't have to use it. You can go to their site, see all of their wines, and order which ones you want. Their selection includes wines from every country you would want to buy wines from. The prices are incredibly low and the quality and service is outstanding.
About their wines... I've been enjoying wines for many, many years and I definitely have my favorites. None of my favorites were offered here. That was the biggest hurdle for me to overcome. But the prices were so good, I decided to take a shot. 6 bottles shipped free so I ordered 3 from France and 3 from Italy and mixed reds & whites. To be honest, I was pretty blown away at how good the wines were. Wines from vineyards that I've never heard of. And many, many orders later the worst wine I purchased fell into the "good" category. Many were exceptional, and a few like one of their Montepulciano's and a French Bordeaux, were the best I've ever had.
So you can pick your own wines, order whenever you want, and as many as you want, never a minimum or pre-selected assortment. On top of all that, their prices are great. That is why these guys are the best on-line option.
Oh, and don't believe those one star reviews. Wine Insiders ship their wine orders within 1-2 days and they are shipped Fed-Ex overnight. So you get them within 3 days.
Although there are more expensive online wine sellers, I find Wine Insiders to provide more in depth info on wines and are always helpful when I have called. They also offer great options for delivery.

The service has been very good. Wine received when it was it was supposed to. However, many of the wines that we have grown to love are suddenly not currently available. They have not been available for the last 4 months. The wines currently on sale do not interest me. Therefore, we are not buying any wine at this time.

I purchase a lot of wine from many different sources including on-line and at large beverage depots. My experience is that the red wines (for the most part) are a good value for their price point and a bit better than I expected. They are decent everyday wines that you can bring out to a BBQ or have with your basic pasta or pizza. They have wines from places around the globe and some are quite interesting.
The company even ran a promotion for all wines at under $10.00/bottle and I was happy to pick up several bottles of excellent White Burgundy at a rock bottom price. I believe the Wine Insiders' customer service also tries hard to be attentive and helpful. I think it is worth you trying once to see if the wines are to your taste.

When the state closed its liquor stores, we found Wine Insiders to provide supplies for the long haul. The selection is good, many varieties from the worlds wine regions. They specialize in good value for price. We tried both whites and reds and have found all selections to be good and some exceptional. For me, Wine Insiders stands out among the endless online wine purchase offers, in part, because there is no need to join a club and free shipping is usually available. I love this site for buying wine. It's not a club where you have to buy wine a few times a year. You only buy when and how much you want. They have great prices, the wine is always good and it's delivered to your home within a couple of days. Delivery is always free if you buy a certain amount-usually at least 6 bottleS but sometimes 12. It depends on the deals and prices of the wine.

I can't even remember how and why I 'discovered' Wine Insiders a while ago, but I am so glad I did! I have tasted some really delicious bottles, and my next door neightbor, in this time of Covid, is particularly happy to come share some 'wine-time' as her son had named it.
