Companies like this are eating consumer $#*!T (their data) for a living. They steal your data from credit card companies and sell on their site. The PII is protected by the laws of this country, but companies you deal with lie to you that they protect your data and privacy.

I used whitepages.com one time last june, and it gave me erroneous information. I was trying to track down the parents of someone who had rented from me and then trashed my little place. The info on the parent was wrong. But to add insult to injury they continued to bill me monthly for a "premium" service that wasnt "premium" at all. I'd stay away from them if you can.

ORDERED $29.99 REPORT THAT COMES WITH A BOGUS COURT RUNNER. RECEIVED A REPORT WITH NO INFORMATION ON IT. I CALLED AND REQUESTED A REFUND. THEY DON'T REFUND THE ENTIRE THING ONLY THE $9.99 AND THAT IS HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY! DO NOT DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE $30 TO WASTE.

ZERO star performance
December 24, 2020

I have used this service and found it to be a waste of time and money. The reviews they get speak for themselves.
They do not respond to any communication and when you say something on their facebook page you get an automated response. I cannot cancel because they will not respond. Don't waste your money on this scam website!

I just went online to look up information on an individual. I paid $29.00. When I clicked for this information they said they could not do it. So I paid for nothing. Called and complained within 5 minutes. They said they could only refund $9 of that money. They really had no information, not even address much less everything that was indicated. Definitely would never use this service again

I canceled my account weeks ago, yet they still continue to take money off of my debit card. I received verification that my account was closed. Yet they still continue to take my hard earned money. Thieves is what they are.

Needed to find some current addresses, so I purchased the $23.99 premium plan that stated I would receive 10 lookups per month.
I found a name, but the only info given was the city and state they lived in! When I clicked to see their current address, a locked box appeared and this site informed me I had to spend $5.00 more get an address! I checked my account info after this 1 lookup, and all 10 were gone! Tested the site using my father's name. What appeared was the name of my grandfather who died thirty years ago!
When I called customer service, I got no explanations. They just said "you receive 10 lookups per month for this plan" and hung up.
THE TRUTH IS: YOU WILL RECIEVE NOTHING WITH WHITEPAGES
When I closed the account, I found that there's no way to remove credit card info. Seems dishonest to keep my credit card numbers!

You give your email, billing address, name, and credit card then tells you check your information is correct but deletes everything so you have to start over. 2 times it did this then switches up to inter valid email, but dosent delete anything. Or it tells you credit card is rejected, and so on. So if i deletes everything means they got what they wanted, your credit card number. It doesnt want you to know so they can get away with it a bit longer can charging it. You think its just an error.
After it dosnt get any more credit card numbers, wont let you sign up because of invalid email. It checks the email (doesnt) before you even submit it. It appears that its checking but its not. How would it know, i havnt pressed submit yet. BUT ITS REAL EMAIL. And tells you its invalid. You know it didnt check it just wont let you sign up.

Better than most
November 5, 2020

I use the site for work, locating next of kin/family members in emergency situations. I've found Whitepages.com to be extremely helpful and easy to use. I've also found billing/customer service to be easy to deal with. I do have concerns about their policy re: background checks--buy 5 but have to use them in a certain amount of time or lose them--I think that's a little icky. Many of my peers also use the site and have the same experience. We've tried Spokeo and InstantCheckmate; most of us like Whitepages.com the best. Just saying.

NEVER AGAIN! I strongly suggest do not use WhitePages.com at all. Their terms of service are not clear, and they WILL cheat you. Use the service one time to look up one telephone number, and you will be charged $4.99/month without any notice to you by this cheat online service. They will continue charging you (as they did me until I noticed it in reviewing my bank statements) month after month even though you aren't using it and never subscribed to their very poor service. When you call them to stop this rip-off and request reimbursement They refuse any reasonable pay-back of your money. GO TO COURT! GET YOUR MONEY BACK from them!
They have charged me $70.00 to look up 6 different phone numbers, and refused any reasonable reimbursement.

This has to be the worst web sites I have ever used in regards to managing your account and personal banking information and customer support, do your self a favor and don't use whitepages, com

I no longer wish to use whitepages.com and i went in to manage my account and simply remove my personal banking information and there is no way to either remove your banking information or delete your account. I sent an email to support and they replied they don't allow people to do either which i find unacceptable. I then contacted a lawyer which instructed me that the web page whitepages.com could not hold my personal banking information unless they had a legal reason, which they don't, they are not a banking institute. I then sent a reply to the 1st email and informed them for a second time that they needed a legal reason to hold my personal banking information against my will and asked again what that was seeing they failed to answer the question the first time i asked them. I am currently seeking legal actions with my bank to get these knuckleheads to simply remove my banking information off their web site, a option that should be a built in option and is on 99.995% of any web site I have ever used. This guy Steve from support who won't even give me his full name is going to turn this into an ugly thing, Good job Steve try actually helping your customers next time.
