Do NOT use. Period. I would tell you how I really felt if I I could. Scam. If I could tell you what I REALLY thought of these complete POS', I'd get banned from anything anywhere. Complete garbage. I found what I was looking for, and was promised what was not not delivered. I told my CC not to pay them. FU, Whitepages.
Using White Pages as an advertisement platform definitely is not worth what you pay ($2000+ annually). Our company has not gained any work from using this site in the past 6 months and you cannot cancel your subscription without paying out the rest of your installments for the year. Would not recommend to any other company.
They have been charging me $ 4.99 every month, from last 4 month (feb to may). I dont even use this website. Now I am looking for some solution so that I dont have to pay them anymore and get my money refunded
Five days After buying a four day service, An addition charge more than 19 times the original charge was charged to my Paypal account. They claim it's all there in the agreement, but I did not see any of that. Was not obvious at all to me. Watch out.
With zero criminal offenses in my life and one traffic ticket in some 15 years, I was horrified to see my listing showing five offenses, and no recourse to find out what White pages was relying on. An altered listing then reported 13 background checks. Like I'm going to spend $ to see more crap?
My google site ranking went down, but the amount of calls I received from other companies trying to offer me SEO optimisation services went through the roof!
Don't sign up expecting this to improve you site ranking in google search results. According to the Sensis complaints department, this service will not be enough to do this and you will still need to spend "over $1000 a month with other services". (Not White Pages Connect). I tried multiple times to cancel, but was told I couldn't. I requested a copy of the original sales call to verify that I was mislead, but they said they were under no obligation to provide this. Don's waste your time or you money.
Isn't the purpose of white pages to look up people's numbers? You have to enter a credit card to get the phone numbers! Disgusting scam.
I received an email from Whitepages that indicated some new information was available (for a certain individual) in the Premium Background Report. There was no new or even nearly new information in the report.
This is a bait and switch scheme plain and simple.
Beyond that - the 'Premium' report shows my residence as the subject's property. The other properties shown are all ancient history, of course.
There is nothing recent in the entire report, the most recent being a PO box from Aug 2018 (coming up on 2 years old).
Obvious collection of garbage nonsense with no organization, structure, or verifiability. Just don't even try. At least not with these people. Especially any background or other documents. The one profile I wanted to look at had a 12 yr old traffic ticket on a 23 yr old's profile. No photos, licenses, not even a number to try and as I mentioned couldn't even find myself with the premium whatever it is. Quality of info actually went down after I got the premium like wtf? I even reverse phone searched myself and couldn't find THE me.
Too timely to cancel my subscription. No phone number. They say your request will be reviewed. What!
You should not be charged for trying to find someones phone number or address... You $#*!ing suck for charging people for those services. Looking up a phone number and address should be free and you should offer something with a little more valuable to people. YOU $#*!ING SUCK! GET OFF OF THE GOD DAMN INTERNET!
This site offers as little information as possible and requires more money for any details. For example, I could see the name and phone # of a person but not the address and if I want more information such as address, (available in the old white pages), I have to pay more to get that info in the online version.
This USED to be a great site. For many weeks now, the site has had a glitch that the company has not been able to fix. The addresses are not current; they stop in September. The company did not notified its costumers. When I called about the problem, the were aware but had no timeline to fix it. It has been several weeks now and Whitepages is current still not working correctly. I called again. There is still no timeline to correct the problem nor are the offering any compensation. I had to sign up with another company: Been Verified. So far, I love this site.
This service scammed my 89-year-old mother by having her sign up for a premium account with a recurring charge. While she legitimately was trying to find a long-lost relative, she was not only charged for the premium and recurring charge, but also charged for the names that appeared along with the relative's name that came up in the search. I will be contacting the authorities for this as it was senior citizen abuse. Their customer service is highly suspicious as well.
Recently, I got a Christmas card for my ex-husband and his 4th wife. I feel sure the information listed on whitepages is responsible for that error. My current address is only five years old and I began having these problems after my move, when whitepages "updated." The website also lists my ex-husband's 3rd wife (who died ten years ago) as living at my address. I am unable to edit the information and there is no 800 number to contact for customer service. I moved on in 1996. It's past time for whitepages to do the same. Written by the 2nd wife (as in EX)
Don't bother with this - info will be wrong. I'll just keep typing til I get to 100 characters so this will be submitted.
WHITEPAGES fraudulently renewed an old subscription eight months ago and began charging me $4.99 a month for services I didn't access, subscribe to or knew anything about. When I noticed the charges on my PayPal account recently, I reached out. So far, they've only refunded 4 payments instead of 8. Told me it's my responsibility to monitor my account... DUH! How in the hell do I monitor an account, I didn't know existed!? I requested documentation that supports that I renewed, subscribed or accessed their services in the last 8 months... haven't received anything as yet of course. I've escalated this to the FCC and will do the same with other applicable consumer protection agencies. I urge you to do the same. They are crooks and thieves... one star is generous!
Provides dated info available online for free, total rip off, stay away
I paid $10 for information available through google for free
I don't even know what this is, never heard of it or used it, but they sure did charge my debit card multiple times in a row within like 10mins. Dirty scamming sobs.
Answer: No. The brain dead knuckle dragging thieves who run that shithole of a site couldn't program their way out of a bag of dog-dookie. Idiots.
