This is a criminal enterprise. They publish fake information and demand you provide them with you real ID's so they can scam you.

The company are horrible.

This website has my name and address and all the info. On it mixed with someone else! I have been trying to opt-out and have them remove the info. The website took me through the whole process and when it comes to verifying me by calling me and giving me a code, then it says "the number is busy"! I tried it 7 times.
I believe that the whole thing is a scam and they just need a bunch of names listed on their website so they can sell bogus info. To people. Accurate or not!
Because of their junky info., I am being harassed and I can't stop it.
This can't be legal. Is it? How can they get away with this? I am really pissed. I will not leave this alone until they take my name off this low rate, scammy website.

I searched for 2 people about 3 months ago, just out of curiosity, and since then, I get at least 3 or 4 emails a week from them stating they have updated information on people I'm monitoring?! I'm not monitoring anyone and I've tried to have my name removed from their database so they will quit sending me emails, but they won't stop!

Sherlock can find his way around these sites to at least get a landline number - probably old and disconnected.

Used to be telephone utilities had to provide basic information about customers who paid for their services. I guess they paid lobbyists to go to work to get pols to make US pay for that information now: how to connect with people who pay to use cell phone services, landline services. Imagine lying about your product: yeh, I'm going to give you this information for free. Then when the page comes up, so does their bill. Sad. Really sad.

I ate here a few days ago with my family of four. We were immediately greeted and sat by our server Sky she was so professional and kind and really took the time to help create an evening that felt like home. She"s amazing with kids and was very relatable. I will most definitely be making this my new dine in spoys in hopes that our family will get to have her be our server each time. The restaurant was clean and peaceful and the food was hot and delicious and the chef really out did themselves. Best Burger in town and my wife was amazed with her everything omlet! Five stars all around!

What a bunch of crap
October 10, 2019

I paid $10 for a phone number. I'd click on the name of the man and it took me to a totally different man! I emailed WHITEPAGES and they gave me 1 "free" background check for this man I'm looking for. What happens? I click on his freaking name and it takes me to a different name! Bunch of crap!

Bad business
October 2, 2019

I wish I read the reviews before I signed up... but I was looking to search someone, so I instantly started the process to sign up for a monthly fee of $4.50 a month. Once I did that I wasn't prompted for a sign in and when I tried the website kept prompting me to sign up again. So I called the 800# and asked for assistance to sign in, I had went to my banking account and saw that I had 2 charges pending, just figured it hadn't completed yet. The CS person didn't see my information at all... I told her that whitepages had 2 pending in my account. She told me to call my bank. I asked why would I call my bank? What are they going to do? She had NO desire to help me at all. When I asked her for a supervisor she basically said no supervisor will help me... then I asked her if this was a scam and she hung up on me... great way to handle your customers... needless to say I did call my bank and now I have to dispute the charges once they complete. So annoying... I guess I'll read reviews from now on...

FRAUD
September 25, 2019

I have never signed up or used even the free service of whitepages yet within the last 4-6 months I have had multiple charges on my debit card. Even canceled one debit card with the first charge and about 3 months later another charge. They ask for your CC info "to look up your account" and are trying to convince me someone is stealing my card number and only using it for whitepages membership. I mean seriously? This company is doing massive fraud and should be put out of business. And for all the people trying to call but cant get a number here you go...

No Functional Database
September 18, 2019

I did research on dozens of people for work, since we (had) an account. NOT A SINGLE ONE was accurate. NONE. Every report was an amalgamation of dozens of peoples information, and the reports even conflicted themselves. Multiple birthdates, wrong addresses (often the wrong state), wrong phone numbers, family members that didn't exist, WRONG CRIMINAL HISTORY... and it got worse from there. You are opening yourself up to a serious lawsuit if you use any information gathered here for legal purposes.

Bogus Information
September 17, 2019

I did a reverse look up on a phone number for an active cell phone I paid $30 to have the reverse look up and they gave me the data for a person that used that cell phone 10 years ago. I contacted WhitePages for a refund and they would not refund the money claiming that they had to pay for a background report which I never claimed because it wasn't the person I was looking for

What a scam
September 11, 2019

I paid for info on an old friend. What I got was years old and completely useless. In less than a month. White pages e-mails me with "new Info" on my friend. I go to the site only to find I have to pay again for the info I should have been given the first time. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. - SCAM!

Out of date information. Cannot even get current address or phone number correct. Just slaps together a bunch of irrelevant stuff and provides teasers to get more information like "2 more mobile numbers". A complete waste of money and time.

I have searched several people, myself included, on Whitepages and every single person has mostly incorrect information. There is some old correct info mixed in with the listings, but it looks like it just pulls all the information on the web into one name. So when you look up a name here you really just get information on the internet that is associated with the name, without regards to if it belongs to one person or twenty people. This is not a tool I would use for information on anyone as it is very inaccurate.

I recommend that we view the criminal and traffic info as being incorrect, with the actual intent to lure people into paying $20 for a report, that will show the info of Other people of different genders, races and dates of birth.

For instance, my girlfriend is Teresa B, and also known as Terry B.(white female, age 60) White Pages shows 37 criminal charges and 24 traffic charges for her. After paying the $20, I find that there are 3 Terry B's, all black males with differing birthdates, who WhitePages has added to my Teresa B.
My Teresa B. Is a nurse, works in the homes of the elderly, usually until they die. When prospective clients see the slanderous lies of WhitePages, unless they pay $20 to read the reports of the black males, they will judge, condemn and not hire her for nursing care. These lies will impact her livelihood, reputation and her daily peace of mind, knowing that she is being judged, convicted, condemned and punished for things she never did. The embarrassment, shame, and stress of False accusations is a 24/7 thing, always there.

I'm considering making a special project of addressing, correcting and avenging this libel and slander, legally. White Pages adds names and offenses of people of different names, genders and races, to their reports on people. I'll never again pay them for additional info, as they lure you with lies and false info about several people.

SCAM SCAM SCAM
July 9, 2019

WHAT A SCAM! I did a search of a person in a certain city, state, zip code. I had enough info to drill down a decent search. White pages came back with having the info and more. I paid to see the info and details. What they showed me was a completely different person, different city, different state. All they had done is mimick my search criteria to lure me in to pay then posted some crap info. And then to re-do the search I had to pay again. WHAT? This kind of fraud should not be allowed. COMPLETE SCAM. You should be ashamed, White pages. Remember when White Pages and Yellow Pages used to be trustworthy and honest? NO more. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Before you read my review, please go ahead and search for yourself on whitepages.com. You might find your name, your address, your phone number, your approximate age AND a few possible relatives.

This alarmed me; I expected my name, address and my old phone number (the printed book usually has it)... but how would they know the names of my brothers and my sister?

I contacted a representative and she simply let me know that my name was removed, but it can still be avalible in other websites. I asked her how the site got my information but I received no clear answer.

I hope yellowpages will be sued. That is too much information and... I never signed a waiver/disclosure.
