Item arrived damage and webstaurantstore.com wouldn't offer to replace the item. This happens when using cut rate shipping services like FedEx. I was offered a 20% refund and countered with a 30% which was accepted by their representative. After the agent agreed to refund me 30% I was only sent a refund of the lower amount of 20%. I do not recommend this vendor as they're unwilling to stand behind their product when it's damaged by their shipper. I recommend and use UPS for my business as the workforce is compensated more favorably which results in a better shipping & handling experience.

I ordered on small bottle of ice machine cleaner, and when I was completing my purchase the shipping did not show up, it just checked me out and then showed shipping of around $17 dollars. I immediately tried to cancel because it said it had to be done within 15 minutes. Every time I pulled up my order number, it said it was still processing and no action could be taken. When I finally reached someone, they said it had been processed and could not be cancelled. This was also on Saturday or Sunday when the order was placed. This company advertises good pricing and then steals from you through shipping costs.

Good but not great

Beware when ordering things from this online store. They have rules they don't really make the buyer aware of. They also do not tell you if and item will not be available very easily, you have to find and read all the fine print.
So, overall they sell lots of items and some good one's. It's just if you make a mistake when ordering they will not return your funds right away. They hold the funds!

They only put 49 pieces in a package that should contain 50 pieces and take unfair profits. Judging from the fact that they are not showing any will to resolve this issue, it seems like they are deliberately trying to package it that way to take unfair advantage. They make profits by deceiving an unspecified number of people and do not take responsibility. Is this really an American company?

I ordered a water filter from this company. After paying the shipping of over 70% of the cost of the product, it arrived. I installed the filter and unfortunately there was a very small leak from the seam of the filter. I re-installed the old filter and checked that it did not leak and asked the company for a replacement filter. After learning that there could be a 40% restocking fee, i was also told that the supplier required that i make a video of the leak with pictures from several angles and pictures of the date code on the filter. I was shipped this filter the week prior, mind you. Once i went back in, pulled out the ice machine to manage the water flow, got back under the sink and put the new, faulty filter back on, i got a video of the leak and sent it in per instructions. A couple days later, i was asked to do it again so i could take a shorter video, more pictures, including a date code that was smudged on a filter that i received the week before from this company. All of this is ludicrous, and insulting. I cannot help but to believe that these policies come from the top of this company to discourage having to do the right thing. I would advise that you just move on when looking for products offered by this company. They are bad middle agents with no integrity or culpability.

Purchased a refrigerated pizza prep table for my business. Shortly after placing the table in service, rust began showing up on the appliance. Appliance was only cleaned with mild soap and water (no harsh chemicals). The product is advertised as 304 stainless steel; however, 304 stainless is pretty much impervious to rust. When I contacted the warranty department for Webstaurant, I was told that rust is not a warranty issue and there was nothing they could or would do for me. DO NOT buy anything from this company. Spend a bit more and get a USA made quality appliance that is made with true 304 stainless!

Do not order from them, you get bad product and can not return them or they charge you 30% and shipping fee. Go send your money someplace else. I order 2 months ago and they did not ship them yet and they are not sure if they can cancel or not

I regret to say that my experience with Webstaurant has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story here to warn others about the challenges I've faced. While their email responses and customer service interactions have been prompt and polite, the overall service has been nothing short of chaotic.
I placed orders with Webstaurant months ago for tables and table bases, and it's been a cascade of issues ever since. Here are some of the problems I've encountered:
1. Persistent Shipping Delays: Time and again, Webstaurant has failed to deliver on their promised shipping dates. This inconsistency has resulted in significant disruptions to my business operations, causing delays that I couldn't afford.
2. Lost Shipments: Incredibly, some of my shipments have simply disappeared in transit. This has not only added to the delay but has also left me dealing with unnecessary stress and uncertainty.
3. Damaged Items: When shipments do eventually arrive, it's not uncommon to find items damaged. It's disheartening to see a lack of attention to detail when it comes to quality control and packaging.
4. Excessive Shipping Times: Even when items do make it through unscathed, they often take an unreasonably long time to arrive. Waiting for weeks to receive essential items has taken a significant toll on my business's operations.
5. Ongoing Lost Shipments: My most recent ordeal involves yet another lost shipment. To make matters worse, the estimated delivery time for replacements is an astonishing one month, which is simply unacceptable for an order as straightforward as four small tables.
The culmination of these issues has led to an overwhelming increase in stress and financial losses for my business. My business opening had to be delayed for months due to the unavailability of these tables, which subsequently impacted our ability to schedule inspections and operate effectively.
I hope that by sharing my experience here, other potential customers will exercise caution when considering Webstaurant as a supplier. While I understand that no company is perfect, the level of disarray and inconvenience I've experienced is simply unacceptable.
In conclusion, I implore Webstaurant to take these recurring issues seriously and implement substantial changes to their operations. As a loyal customer who expected reliable service, I believe it's their responsibility to rectify these problems promptly and prevent them from recurring in the future.

I ordered 3 products 2 weeks ago and they still haven't shipped. They charge an arm and a leg for shipping and still can't get it out the door. Avoid this company at all cost. It was my first and last experience with them.

This company is not recommended. When delivering a product, they do not use a shipping box and simply deliver the product in its original condition. Even if you order a container several times and ask for special delivery, it is no use. Damage and loss to occur during delivery. This company is absolutely terrible. Don't order

Well I was a little skeptical so I decided to look at a few of the reviews. It doesn't look too good for me so I'm going to do a preemptive strike and decide not to do business with this restaurant and janitorial supplier. People who take care of the customers usually don't have this many bad reviews.

Amazing Service and Products

I have been using The Webstraurant store for many years now. Products arrive on time with reasonable shipping costs on larger items ordered. I have had to return a few items over the years and have never had any issues. We have received the wrong product (only twice) that we ordered and with a quick call, return labels have been sent via email within an hour and the correct product has been shipped that day. Damaged product (not WebstaurantStore fault, bad handling by shipper) has been rectified immediatley and new product shipped at their cost. Last week I had a Sous Vide machine start to smell like an electrical issue was happening. A quick call with their reps and a couple of photos with a description of the issue emailed to them sorted out our problem and a new machine was on they way. It arrived one week later. I highly recommend the WebstraurantStore and will continue to use them for machinery, small wares, plates, chemicals, paper goods and supplies when needed.

They will say something it guaranteed to ship in 1 to 2 business days and guaranteed to deliver in 5 to 7. There is no guarantee though. It's all lies and when you ask why something has been processing for 2 weeks when they say 2 says, they just give you more lies like "oh, it will ship tomorrow" and then when it doesn't, they say "that wasn't a guarantee" lol like what a joke of a company. The lure people in with short delivery times knowing they are lying and I will not be buying from them again.

Scum and scammy

I thought I was getting a good deal on Kodiak oatmeal in bulk. Last second, they add a 20$ shipping charge making it more expensive than had I bought it in my local store. Absolute scum. Will never use the garbage service again and will only disparage them to everyone I know.

I ordered & paid for 2 jars ofTerro AntKiller.They shipped one and have not responded to my 4 inquiries. In addition, I was charged $18.97 in shipping for these 2 ounce jars, in which I only received one. Mistakes happen, but the lack of response is the bigger issue.

Took 30 minutes to make a payment for order only for their tech support to keep telling me to change browsers. Finally got order in for an event I'm catering and 2 days later they email me asking for a piece of mail with my address to confirm I'm not fraud! What? … and that would take up to 6 business days to review before shipping my order out. HORRIBLE
