WebEyeCare's site is very simple and quick. I love their chat feature, its right there on the site so if you have any questions you just type and get an immediate response. I was able to find the lenses I need and place my order in a matter of minutes. The lenses came yesterday and were very securely packaged inside both a cardboard box and a plastic envelope to protect them from the elements. Very nice.

Best customer service experience I have had so far. I ordered the wrong lens by accident. They were able to do an exchange for me right away and even waived the shipping for me. I thought I was going to have to eat the cost of the lenses since it was my fault, but they were so helpful. I am going to be coming back to them when it is time for me to reorder.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Ordered contacts 6/27, paid for 2 day shipping. Received an email A WEEK later saying that they "could not verify my prescription". Called my eye doctor to make sure prescription was verified, it was. Informed webeyecare of this the same day and gave them all the information they needed to get ahold of my eye doctor (again). At this point I thought my contacts were on the way, since they had charged me on 6/29, even without (supposedly) being to verify my prescription. Received another email from them 7/3 (about A WEEK) later saying once again that my prescription had not been verified. Called my eye doctor yet again to verify prescription, at this point they are wondering what the deal with webeyecare is, as am I. Emailed webeyecare yet again saying that my prescription was verified. Last straw was today, 7/10, when I received a phone call saying yet again that my prescription wasn't verified.At this point I have been waiting 2 weeks for contacts I paid for 2-day shipping on, have verified the prescription 3 times with my eye doctor. I call to cancel and get hung up on. I call back and ask to a speak to a supervisor who actually says that "eye doctors may tell you one thing and us something else"... seriously? So basically the fault is with my eye doctor, or me, but not webeyecare. I cancelled my order and am planning on filing a complaint with the BBB, as I encourage anyone else who has issues with this business to do.
This is actually not the first time I've had issues with webeyecare before-in fact, every time I've ordered from them there has been a problem-last time they send me 8 boxes of the right eye rather than 4 of each eye... the time before that the boxes looked like they had been stomped on. Neither one of those was a dealbreaker, obviously, but the delay in communication and the passing the buck rather than taking responsibility and working to make it right is the last straw for me. I will never order from them again. I'd rather pay more and get my contacts quickly, efficiently, and with no complications.

The information on line states free shipping. It does not tell you that there is a processing fee and that the shipping is only free on orders over $200. Don't waste your time.

I compared numerous sites to find the lowest price and webeyecare had it. I placed my order online and faxed over my prescription. I received an email the next morning stating that my order had shipped and had my contact lenses 5 days later. Smooth transaction and you can't beat the prices.

WebEyeCare.com was great. I placed my order on Friday of last week and requested 2nd day air shipping. WebEyeCare verified my order with my doctor that same day. I had actually made a mistake in entering my prescription, I reversed the signs and WebEyeCare caught it and corrected it. I got my correct lenses yesterday and put them in today, they are perfect. I am definitely using WebEyeCare again in the future and am going to recommend them to friends and family. Thanks WebEyeCare.

I was filling out the form on webeyecare to order a box of contact lenses. When I ran a search of the particular lenses, they had the best price, but what they don't tell you is that the price quoted does not include the mandatory "processing fee" of $9.80 they tack on. I thought that was a bit steep- but the price was still a bit lower than other places, so I proceeded, after going through the entire order form and filling in all of the prescription numbers and – billing address etc- THEN you get to select your "Shipping Options." The LEAST expensive shipping option was "Ground 5 Day" for $12.95! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! SURELY they were not going to charge an additional $12.95 to ship a tiny box of Contact lenses that would easily fit into a U. S Priority mailing BOX for $5.20? At that point I stopped and used their "Live Chat" option to see if I was misunderstanding something.
The Chat Rep explained that they charge the $9.80 "Processing fee" to "process and verify the prescription" and the $12.95 covers the UPS Ground shipping. I told her $12.95 shipping was ridiculous. She then offered a 5% discount code. I asked if there was a minimum purchase required – no minimum. I then asked if the 5% applied to the TOTAL PRICE including the $22.75 additional fees. She said it applied to the processing fee- but not the shipping.
This is a racket- I'm ordering from another company.

I searched far and wide for the best prices and finally settled on WebEyeCare. Their prices were almost half of what I would have paid at my doctor's office. I was a bit hesitant using them at first, given that they were so cheap I did not know what to expect. I have been pleasantly surprised with the service I received. After placing my order the confirmation page instructed me to email a copy of my prescription which I did. An hour later I received a phone call from a customer service representative telling me that that there was an issue with my order. Apprantely I had input my prescription incorrectly, I entered a positive power instead of a negative. The customer service representative discussed the error with me and requested my approval to change the order to match the prescription, which I gladly provided. I was then told that my order would ship later that day and I would receive an email with my tracking number, both of which happened. I ordered the standard ground shipping and my order shipped out that evening, and I had my contacts several days later. The contacts are exactly what I expected, and the expiration dates are three years out, so no need to worry about getting expired contacts. Needless to say I had a very good experience with WebEyecare and will be using them again for my next order. I am a price shopper and that was the main reason I chose WebEyeCare, but I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received. I definitely recommend them.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! webeyecare.com charges a processing fee that is not disclosed until after you have paid! The fee is so high it makes their contacts more expensive than other sites. They do this in order to fool Google Shopping into rating them the lowest priced contacts when in fact once you factor in the the hidden fee their contacts are more expensive.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews on this site. I recently made a purchase with webeyecare and had a great experience. I originally placed my order 1/24. The ordering process was very straightforward. I was a bit confused about how to specify that I wanted 2 boxes for each of my eyes, but I was able to use the chat feature (which is a great feature to have) to get the correct answer. Upon placing my order I was asked to send a copy of my prescription to expedite the processing of the order. I sent my prescription in as soon as I placed the order and later that day was provided notice that my order had shipped as well as a UPS tracking number. I had paid for the UPS 5 day ground but I guess because the product shipped out from the west coast and I am on the west coast, it arrived within 3 days. The contacts were exactly what I had ordered and the whole process was very simple. I had previously bought my contacts from the doctor and this was the first time I purchased them online. I will certainly purchase my contacts again from webeyecare in the future, I saved over $40 compared to what I would have paid with the eye doctor.

Thanks webeyecare keep up the good work.

I ordered my contact lenses from this website back in November 2010. It took until January 2011 to receive all of the correct lenses. The first shipment that I received had 8 boxes of one prescription when I ordered 4 boxes for the left eye and 4 boxes for the right eye. I have a different prescription for each eye. I didn't even provide them with the information. They had to contact my eye doctor to get my prescriptions. The eye doctor's office gave them the correct information. I couldn't ever reach an actual person when calling Customer Service. I always had to leave a message and have someone call me back. That was annoying. I had to play phone tag with them for a few weeks. I was told they were sending out the rest of the correct lenses to me and a prepaid label so I could return the wrong lenses to them. I received the second box during the holidays and those lenses were wrong too. The last number of the prescription was not correct. They were closed for the holidays so I had to leave messages again. Then I was having trouble getting anybody to contact me back at all. I finally faxed them a bunch of information about the problem and then they called me. I just received the rest of the correct lenses a few days ago. It took almost 2 months to receive my full and correct order. I ordered from them since they were so reasonable on the cost of the lenses. I honestly don't think that I will order from them again. I was without contacts to wear since they kept messing up my order. I wasn't impressed with their Customer Service at all. I wouldn't advise people to order from them.

While they didn't overcharge me for my purchase, they did pretty much everything else poorly.

It took forever for me to receive my contacts, communication with them was extremely difficult and they made false promises regarding shipment and returning my calls.

I will never do business with them again and suggest that you avoid them. Trust me, a few dollars saved is definitely not worth the hassles and headaches.

They charged my card on 9/14/09. I call today (9/22/09) and am told my order number or last name isn't on file. The young lady (who is calm but obviously doesn't care and is playing with me) pretends to investigate further and finally gives me a tracking number for some other person that ordered a few weeks earlier. I call back and get the voice mail thing. I do the live chat and finally get someone to answer. But it is probably the same lady. She tells me a request will be sent to have it shipped tomorrow. Wow! I got charged eons ago and they are barely making the request to ship! If the previous reviews are any indication, the lenses will not ship ever. I will never, ever do business with these scammers again!

* You want your credit card charged and DO NOT RECEIVE your contacts for a month or two.
* You want to hear all the possible "excuses" for providing HORRIBLE customer service and products. They are REALLY GOOD at POINTING FINGERS at others.
