The CupFone XL don't fit the VW Tiguan as advertised. Customer service refuse to understand and just blamed me. Now I have to pay the shipping to return this "universal" product.
Bought front, rear and cargo mats for my new car. The mats do not lay flat, they sort of roll on the sides and scoot around. Customer Service told me this is common over time, mine are 2 years old. They told me to take them out and place something heavy on top to straighten them.
They never made my orders correct. Contacted CS twice for the missing parts. Never correct. I don't know why they can just make such a simple thing completed wrong twice, maybe never. Totally $#*!-tier company ever I have seen.
I have always been impressed with WeatherTech's tv ads and thought it would be nice to buy my husband a Father's Day Gift for his jeep. After checking and verifying the correct year and model, I ordered mats for the front. Not inexpensive at $124 plus tax and shipping. The mats did not fit the car and my husband said the quality was poor, certainly not worth the price. I immediately requested a return authorization which was prompt, but WeatherTech does not offer a return label at their shipping cost of $18. I took the box to FedEx which would cost $95 to return. UPS was $97. By the time these are returned plus deducting an additional $18 of WeatherTech's shipping cost, my net refund from $158 will only be $45.
Got an email after a purchase asking for my comments on the product. Clicked on "Write a Review" on the email. Took me to the website... but there is no place to click on to write a review. Clicked on "Reviews", but there were none. Conclusion: they do not want to know what the customer thinks, good or bad. This is a deal breaker for me.
I live in Michigan on a gravel road and the stones are a problem with the 35 inch ties i have on my Bronco, It's hard to find flaps for my ride so i ordered some front and back from weather Tech i love the back perfect fit but the front ones look like crap I cant believe they look like that. If I didn't live on the gravel road I would have them off people look and ask what's up with them. I take pride of my new ride but no pride in them NOT HAPPY
My Christmas present to myself was WEATHERTECH MATS FOR MY CAR! WHAT A JOKE. TRUE FLIMSY CRAP! I SENT THEM BACK AND GOT CHARGED $65.00 FOR RESTOCKING FEE!
They used to make an excellent cup phone holder for your car. It could be moved and set in multiple directions. The 'new' (?) product is a complete hunk o' junk that moves in one direction only and eliminates what used to be a very useful twist to lock or unlock in the cupholder. Complete junk and a total rip-off. For what little it does in relation to the earlier version (same price!) look elsewhere.
On February 28,2022, I purchased a certified pre-owned 2018 Ford Explorer from a dealership. It came with a weathertech sunroof wind deflector and four side window deflectors. Last week, I driving at a relatively low rate of speed (25-30 mph) and the sunroof window deflector flew off without warning and landed on my head. Thank God I wasn't going any faster, wasn't on a crowded street, and didn't lose control of my truck. If that's not bad enough, I was driving on the garden state parking Friday night around 10pm going approximately 65 mph when there was suddenly a loud bang on the passenger side of my truck. I pulled over once it was safe scared that I was either hit or ran over something only to find the passenger rear window deflector broke off my window. The window defector did a nice job on my rear passenger door and rear quarter panel. I am hoping the scratches will be able to be buffed out. Once again, I am grateful I didn't lose control of the vehicle after getting startled by the sound of it hitting my truck. This is the first time I have ever owned anything weathertech related but I truly question the safety of their products. For the money thisr company charges for their products, they should consider putting some of that profit into safety compliance or else someone is going to wind up dead. Sent Customer Service an email for them to play the blame game. I emailed Weathertech yesterday and the basic response "Whenever a product comes off like that, it is usually not installed correctly or are not meant for that vehicle." which personally I think it's a crock of "sh*t". The representative then stated "If you did want to keep them on, I would advise going to the dealership you bought the vehicle from and having them verify if they are installed correctly." Interestingly enough I wrote two reviews on their website (one for the sunroof and the other for the window) and what a surprise the reviews were never posted to their page. There's only five star reviews.
I ordered all weather mats for myt 2008 Nissan Titan. If they are supposed to be engineered to fit my titan or anybody's titan they certainly do not. No even close. The general fit is close to the generic Michelin set I bought. That is the only reason I'm keeping them. Quality wise they are about the same and on the rack at a parts store. The back floor mats, you almost have to take the seat out to get them installed and the fit around the back of the front seat is pathetic. The cellphone cupholder isnt much better in quality. The only product of have purchased from weather tech is the bumpstep and it very good. My advise is to stay away from Weather Tech
They fit great and protect my carpet. But they won't come clean. The shiny smooth surface was gone after the first washing and cannot be restored. Regular floor mats look better…. In the pic, you see water because I just washed them, believe it or not!
Purchased the floor mats with my new F-250 in 2014. They don't hold their shape all that well causing them to move around a lot. One of the tabs that holds the matt in place failed. Called Weather Tech for a replacement and was told to return them to the dealership for replacement. The Ford dealer said they do not keep records of the purchases and was referred back to Weather Tech. Wich places me right in the middle of the corporate loop of deniability and will not receive the replacement mat.

The mats I bought "fit" the exact dimensions, but the driver-side mat interfered with the gas pedal. My foot constantly caught the edge of the mat when lifting off the gas, both annoying and risky.
Contacted the company and the only solution was to destroy the mat for a refund. Good response time and engagement, but the product wasn't that great.
We purchased mats for our town car about 3 years ago. The fit was an 8 out of 10. Within a short time the edges of the mats began to turn inward causing our shoes to catch on the edge of the mats while entering the car. After about 1 year the mats, began to fade and turned hard as a rock. Although they still protect our carpets the mats are very disappointing. They look like just faded stiff plastic. We would have been better off purchasing cheaper mats and just replacing them as the wore out.
I bought the WeatherTech CupFone holder and was totally furious with the lack of written assembly instructions! As this product needs to fit many different cup sizes for various cars, there was a minimal amount of assembly required. However, there were NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SIMPLE INSTALLATION! Instead there were inadequate pictures which didn't explain what the customer was supposed to do! Luckily a friend of mine went through this already, so he was able to show me what to do. Stop being SO CHEAP WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS WeatherTek, it soured me against buying any more of your products!
My son gave me a gift $200 certificate for Weather Tech. I have a jMazda CX-5. All the mats seem fine except the back compartment. There is a lip that's 2" high. It's a real problem getting things in and out. They hit on this lip. It appears that it should be cut off. I called customer service and they told me not to cut it. I am eventually going to cut it. Customer service was of no help and the person treated me not too kindly. I would not recommend this company. There must be others around that do a better job.

I bought a dash protector, used it maybe 10-15 times... now it just falls off the window.
They need to find a new SCAM!
The rain guards look great and the instructions was fairly easy. I would recommend if yours comes with the little clips with tape. You should put some super glue on the clips and then put the tape on. This will make your installing easier and weathertech doesn't clarify that the little black clips go in on the outside of the window track not in between the windows and seal. I have ran this up and down the interstate at 85 mph with the windows down and ran my car throw an automated car wash without a problem of them coming or flying off! They will stay on your car if installed correctly and give your car some style while giving you some fresh air going down the freeway in the pouring down rain.
I purchased a full set for my RDX. The rear floor mat does not fit corrrctly. The mat rides on top of the front seat track so when you move the front back into a comfortable position the mat becomes dislodged. I have contacted weather tech and they do NOT have a solution. The design does not fit the vehicle!
Answer: Haha! Placed on hold with 165 callers ahead of me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I could try to call back tomorrow but they're really busy this time of year!
Answer: I have boughten a few things for Weathertech and I had a problem with a part that got broken. I called customer service and got right through and they solved my problem in just a few minutes. They were very nice and easy to deal with.
Answer: Any company is better. Mine are absolute junk. They are so cheap I'd be better off buying Walmart brand floor mats.
