Wayfair... or. Sayjunk
Stay away, support your local establishments.
This place needs to be shut down.
Do your homework, read all reviews on internet. Remember, there are a number of sites showing their poor reviews.
I've ordered from them for many items and have always been pleased with their products and speedy delivery. I'm surprised to see all of these negative reviews because I've never had an issue. I've even had the wayfair delivery truck show up to my door so I'm not sure why people are saying they don't sell their own product plus they even gave me a free gift!
Bought a nice chair swivel chair. Looked great. Company came and i sat on the chair and in one swivel it fell apart. I hurt my self. Back hurt for a week. Never ever will i buy any thing from them. I have a crrdit card from them that i cut up. Fraud. This place should be investageted. They daid throw the chair away. And they will refun my money. What about my doctor bill. Will see. Please dont buy anything from wayfair.
Terrible company to do business with. Ordered items did not look like pictures, were poor quality and customer service was terrible. They were rude and surly. Found same things much cheaper elsewhere.
I checked for an item a pet gear dog stroller and it was maybe about $105, I found it on petsmart.com for $85. I will never ever use Wayfair
Original review: I just completed my first order, a chair and coffee table. Items arrived fairly quickly, but the coffee table did not have the correct legs. Customer service answered after one ring, and was very friendly, however it will be another two weeks for the correct part. I think if its an error on their part, it should be expedited. If it cant for whatever reason (like being sent from China?) then thats fine, but I probably wont order again. I have it a go despite the reviews.
Update 3/29: received another incorrect leg. Called customer service and now I get to wait another two weeks for (maybe) the correct one. Have updated review to one star, and am firmly in the DO NOT ORDER camp.
Shopping with Wayfair is a pleasure. I'm so happy with the items I have purchased, and so pleased with the shipping.
Can't wait to get my next shipment. Thanks Wayfair.

I ordered a recliner from(i thought from Sears), found it was Wayfar, thought whatever, referred by Sears, how bad can it. Well, the recliner came, in 2 boxes, plced in the hall of my 3rd floor apt in senior bldg. And got worse from there on. I PP
Was 83 yrs old, apx 180 lbs, & had a broken rm, inadvertainly tipped the chair over forward 3 times, at least. 1 of the times, being caught between chair & sofa, & with broken arm, unable to get up, Had to call for help. Now, las 6 months, automatic recline keeps cutting out. I need a referral for repair person to check wiring to correct this. Answer asap *******653, chair is barely 2 yrs old, & should last longer than that
They do not own their product they sell, once you place an order then they contact the manufacturer, hence why delays of shipments, horrible time trying to return and no quality assurance. Buyer Beware!
I havent had delivery problems and the damaged chair I bought was quickly refunded as was another item I purchased. The customer service reps were eager to help, offering replacements or refunds.
However, beware of buying furniture that requires assembly. My experience has been that the directions can be unclear, parts are often very heavy, labeled poorly, if at all, and do not always fit easily together.
I think the problem is with the vendors Wayfair uses, all of whom seem to have different quality of product and delivery and customer service policies. But Wayfairs customer service, for me, has been responsive and prompt. Not sure that makes up for the uncertainty of whether or not youre going to get something you really like or the hassle of replacement or refund though.
Still, it really is true that you get what you pay for so if you want to be sure youll like something, go where you can see/touch the item youre buying. And if youre not handy or dont want the hassle, pay for the manufacturer to assemble your product or buy from a more expensive store that has assembly built into the price in the first place!
I ordered a papasan chair that arrived with a saw cut through one of the wood frame pieces. I write support and received 2 nice responses saying they'd rectify the situation with a replacement part, a full replacement of the unit or a full refund. Instead what I got was a 10% discount coupon that had to be used within 2 months. Don't know what happened to the support team but they really let me down completely. I won't be buying from Wayfair again--and I like their stuff... but forget it!
My first order from WF was a number of years ago now. I was really hesitant, but I went through with it and was very pleased except for a problem with one damaged item. I called immediately and expected to make arrangements for the return. When they learned it was a small chest, they ordered another to be sent yet that day, and then told me to just donate the damaged item to a charity of my choice! Right then I knew I would be a repeat customer. I took the damaged piece to a near by adult workshop where impaired adults learned various woodworking skills. Needless to say, I have ordered a number of times since this experience. I have had to call customer service, but not for damage or other serious problems, but each time I talk to someone I can not believe the difference in talking with a phone rep at WF and other businesses. No robotic "scripts" where no matter what you ask, they seem to just pick a numbered response and "read" the script to you regardless if it applies to what you ASKED or not!
I once mentioned to a WF rep that I specifically order from them because I always reach someone quickly (who seems to be in the USA?), actually seems to listen before reading off some unrelated "non-answer". The rep told me the company actually encourages personalized replies and individual thinking and problem solving. I will remain a customer for that reason alone!
If WF ever becomes like my bank, cell phone, and cable companies, with "robotic" replies after hours of just trying to reach them; and then I'll no longer do business with them. For now, the way they take care of any concern or problem has my loyalty.
Waited almost a month for someone else's furniture! Poor management system! Will have to wait until 2 more weeks for the correct shipment...
They sent me a recliner that had a big gouge in one leg so they said they would replace the chair which they did and that chair came with two left hand parts which rendered the chair useless I have to pay someone to haul it away
It's been over 5 months and I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I haven't heard from Wayfair and my order is still sitting in the same status as it was the day after I ordered it. No changes on shipping status either. I haven't seen a refund on my account either. At this point I know I won't see my pillow cases, but Wayfair will also never see another order from me.
I ordered 4 pillow cases through Wayfair through Walmart. I placed my order on September 20,2017, the UPS label was created September 21,2017. Walmart states that my order should have received between Sept. 27-Oct. 2, well those days have come and gone. I contacted Wayfair on October 9, and received an automated reply that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. I'm still waiting... I just sent another message and I am not holding my breath that I will hear back from them.
Do not use this company! I wish I had researched them first before ordering. I had no idea any company would hold an order hostage this long! I am contacting Walmart next to let them know that this happened and hopefully they will boot this company from their site!
I ordered Faith kitchen bar stools, adjustable. Easy to assemble and took only a few minutes. I am not good at this so I was pleased. Love the white. It does not look cheap. Have had compliments on how attractive the chairs are. It took about a week to deliver. Two chairs came together and the next day the other two came. I was worried but I will order again from them. Nice not to have to pay duty as I am Canadian.
I have not ordered that many items from Wayfair but have had problems with shipping 3 times, 2 of these times since December 2017. Customer service has been great in handling the situations, but not sure why they're having problems getting items out on time. So if you don't mind getting items late, it's not a problem.
I ordered a five-piece bedroom set for $4300 that was confirmed to be delivered on a specific date during a specific time window. I made arrangements to be available on that date and time. Just informed that my delivery cannot be accomplished on that date. Returned all items. Not either a satisfied or a happy customer.
I ordered a mattress the 22nd of December. We were moving in mid January and thought we would have enough time. We never received a phone call, and called wayfair to change our address. Two weeks went by and no mattress still. We were sleeping on the floor for two weeks at this point. In between my partner and I, we talked to over 25 people, no one knew what they were doing. I finally talked to a manager who said they could get me the mattress by the 22nd of February. I told her I am NOT sleeping on the floor for another month. She said she would try her best and still no one contacted me after that exchange. I talked to another supervisor who said she would help me, but 24 hours went by and she had not contacted me with any news. I asked her to cancel the order and that was the FASTEST thing they did during that whole transaction. The most I was offered was a 10% coupon. Sorry wayfair, that is not enough. In fact, thats pretty insulting. Looks like these guys are just greed filled jerks who dont care about customer service because they know theyll make a buck somewhere else. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I figured you would have to put it together... screw that & the Magic placement in your house! Too much "Bewitched" Poor advertising... false even! Don't fall for it!
Answer: Ive ordered several things and I believe they've all had pictures on outside- sorry.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
