I ordered a couch from Wayfair and a matching chair from another company last month, the couch came within 2 weeks, the chair, still hasn't arrived. I want to thank Wayfair for fulfilling their end of the sale. Service was great, shipping was fast, and delivered with care. I only wish they had the matching chair as I'm quite sure I'd be enjoying that as well right now. I at 1st felt Wayfair prices were a bit higher than other retailers, but I'm at the point I'd rather pay the extra just to rest assured that I will receive my order. I will be a returning customer, and want to thank you for the positive experience shopping at Wayfair. You earned my trust and we'll worth every time.
I bought a couch, the delivery service called and set up a day to deliver it. I threw my old one away, The new one NEVER came. Wayfair strung me along for a week telling me they would give me updates, which was my "case manager" Steven M. Emailing me to say they were still looking for my couch. Until finally he tells me, they lost the couch and aren't going to replace it. I contacted wayfair on Facebook, they just got tired of me and quit responding, I tried to contact my Wayfair business account manager Catherine No one, who was also too busy to get back in touch with me. So now I have NO COUCH.
I had to furnish a property and I was on a tight schedule. I of ordered a 6 piece dining set that was supposed to arrive a week before my deadline. Of course, when I checked where my delivery was on the day it was supposed to arrive, it was in another state. I called a representative and asked when it would arrive and explained that I had a deadline for my renters and I ordered based on the fact that it would be delivered one week before my deadline.
The representative stated that it's at the McDonough, GA warehouse.
I called again a day later to get an ETA on my belongings and the first response I get is "I don't know." I ask approximately how long it would take to get from McDonough to Knoxville. The representative then stated, "your delivery is in transit and has not been received by our facility in McDonough."
I asked to speak to someone else about the issue and the representative transferred me over to a case manager. The case manager said "it would take a week or so for you to receive your furniture"
In the end I had to cancel the order and get a full refund. This is a poorly run company and is disorganized at best.
We were looking for a low loft bed for my daughter and saw on Wayfair that they had one with a dresser, bookshelf, and built-in desk. Perfect! It was $680-something when we saw it and waited to buy it after we got back from our trip. They changed the name and raised the price to $740! We had an expired 10% off coupon and we would have bought had they given us the 10% when we called in and fortunately for us, they didn't. Decided to look on Amazon and found the exact same bed under a different name for $502! Went directly to the merchant's website and got an additional 8% off and paid $462 (it's now 10% off in the pic). It even arrived a day early. Same thing with a table we were looking at. It's $213 on Wayfair and $180 on Amazon under a different name. And we saved on the tax. Their markup is insane. I'd recommend going to their website to get ideas, but I'll never ever buy from them.
I bought two table linens in size 90"x132" for my business. They are horrible quality. They are thin and the seam around the whole cloth is cheap looking. Very disappointing consider they cost $17.99 a piece.
I love wayfair-not saying I have never experienced any issues with them but the most important thing is that they always rectify any problem that does occur. I have had many orders that arrived in perfect condition (while some arrived with slight scratches)- wayfair has always ensured that I am left feeling happy about my order. Their products range from good quality to cheap (it all depends on what you are shopping for).
They lost our order for a client. You will talk to several friendly people along the way, but the bottom line is, they don't care, there is nothing you can do and no Management to talk to. They have NO problem hitting your credit card ASAP but don't expect your order to ever arrive.
I have spent over $7,000 with this company and have never been disappointed. I have a problem with consumers that have an issue with their delivery carrier or with reading item descriptions. Example the man that had his kitchen island left on his porch where box and item was damaged. That is an issue for UPS or Fedex, not Wayfair. Or the lady that ordered a $300 bed and expects a quality piece of furniture. Really? You get what you pay for people. Do your homework, educate yourselves and be realistic. Also, remember this is another version of HomeGoods or TJMaxx. If you should have an issue they will take care of it.
Damaged and useless furniture!
My wife and I bought a new kitchen island ( Wilson Kitchen Cart).
I'll be very straightforward with the facts:
> Delivery time: It was delivered 15 days late. In my opinion unacceptable
> The box os left unattended in front of my house door. It is fine as the item was really heavy and I don't see how someone would steal that.
> Box condition: Damaged - Unacceptable
> Item condition: Pure Garbage. It was all crushed, stainless steel was all dented and scratched.
Summary: I've bought an area rug before from Wayfair and it was ok, but at this time they completely lost my business.
I would suggest you, do not buy any furniture item from Wayfair and save you from hustling around with them. Take your business anywhere else.
I attempted to Order my daughters bunkbeds for the birthday. Three weeks and 7 calls later they decided to tell me that the bunkbeds were lost in transit and nobody knows where theyre at and they are sold out of that bed. I obviously canceled that order, 3 days later I get a call saying that they are going to return my money minus percent restocking fee. Wtf, how can they restock something that is lost. They refused to return all my money so I had to call my credit card company to take care of it. Unfortunately I decided to look up reviews on this so called store and not much to my surprise I see thousands of people that gave them 1 star but if you look on their site, they have thousands of people saying 5 stars. How long does it take to write your own reviews to cover yourself? I cant believe this place. Im tired of azzholes doing stuff like this. I have contacted a lawyer on this matter and he will be taking over. If you want to get in on this lawsuit, feel free to write me about how you got screwed over by thieves like this. My niece and my step father are both lawyers so money wont matter. See you in court.

I have recently purchased a number of items needed to set up a new home. Some products worked out; some didn't, or couldn't be shipped in time. However, throughout, I have spoken with countless Wayfair employees who have been helpful, respectful, understanding and empathetic! They always, always make things right, no exceptions.
This is my email addressed to Wayfair after they cancelled my order twice, one after the other, and after a few days past placing each order:
"So sad to say that you have a very chaotic and non-reliable operation. This is the second time that you are cancelling my order because of some ridiculous reason. We have an upcoming event that is very important to us and we needed these two benches that you cancelled one after the other. Thanks, from a loyal customer and I will make certain to make a review for your operation."
I received an item damaged. I called, they replaced it for free and got it on my front step within a couple of days! Very happy!
I love the look of wayfair furniture and home products so I ordered a grey tv stand for my new home. When it arrived the top was damaged. We had assembled the rest and to be honest the finish on the whole thing was not good never cheap looking although it was strong and sturdy. After calling customer service they sent out a replacement. Took about two weeks. That one was also damaged in two places. Called customer service again and they said a third would be delivered and they also gave me a refund of 30% of the full price. Next I had a message saying there were no more tops but they would send a whole new tv stand. Told me to donate the first one. In the end I asked for a full refund as I couldnt be bothered to put together another and potentially have another damaged item. They just dont pack things well enough. I got my refund and still have the stand as they dont want it back. So although the product was bad quality and finish I didnt have any issues getting refunded. All representatives were very courteous and helpful.
Great company and wonderful, products quality products. Fast service and customer service is very helpful. I had one item arrive missing a part. I was told that they could send me a new product or send me the part. I had the missing part within a week. No questions asked. Everything else I ordered came packaged great with no defects and when the large item arrived, the delivery men put it just where I needed it. I would highly recommend this company.
I recently purchased a fire pit table for my deck. Now I had been looking at fire pit tables since last year bc I think they are just so neat. As I was browsing I saw that Wayfair was having a big sale on patio furniture so I looked and here they had the fire pit table I wanted on sale. So I brought it. I hadn't had time to open the box yet and here someone else had the same fire pit table on sale too. So I checked the price, it was $30.00 cheaper then Wayfairs sale price. Now that's a nice savings. So I contacted Wayfair and asked them if they price match, just to make things easier bc I already had the table. Their response was " no we dont price match and if you want to sent it back, it will cost you $27.80 to ship it back" well now that's one hell of a sale price if you ask me. Can u imagine a retailer having a sale and they are $30.00 ABOVE the going sale price from others. So that gives you an idea just how much of a profit they made from me. Upsetting to me for sure.
Never again will I shop there, competitive pricing, NO! Willingness to work with their customers, NO! I deleted their app and took them off my mailing list. You got me once Wayfair that's it for you.
Wayfair use a delivery service completely inappropriate for the type of products they sell. You cannot choose a delivery day when you order an item (nor a time of day - morning/afternoon/evening) and they do not deliver on weekends, so if you work Monday-Friday, forget Wayfair immediately.
When you do get your order (after waiting a 2 hr time slot and then an extra hour) the delivery company they use only have insurance to bring items to the first point of entry, so if you live in a block of flats on your own, its impossible to get heavy items (such as double beds) up the stairs on your own.
A company selling large household items should provide delivery adequate enough to actually get it to your home.
Was previously considering buying a full bedroom set from here as their selection is huge, but Ill go elsewhere now, its not worth the stress - Wont be using Wayfair again.
