I ordered a mattress from Wayfair and it never arrived.
The expected delivery day for my mattress was Dec 2 and it is now Dec 6 with conflicting information from Wayfair and FedEx on where the package is and where it is being delivered to. I had the package delivered to my home. The status of where my package was was inconsistent the Wayfair website and on FedEx, as in they didn't match. Wayfair then emailed me to say that my package was delivered, I called FedEx and they said it had not been delivered. I called Wayfair who claimed that it was delivered and if it wasn't, they would ship it out Dec 8 to start this whole process over.
I called FedEx to confirm that it would be delivered to the correct address. Without my permission and without me expressing that I even wanted an address change, Wayfair changed the delivery address to a Walgreens. I received a call in the morning from FedEx that someone changed my address and due to this complication my mattress will not be delivered for another 48 hours at minimum.
Wayfair is a horrible company-order from Amazon.
Awful customer service, ordered 3 sets of garden furniture a week ago, just prior to delivery they sent an email cancelling all 3 items as they were discontinued. Each item was in the sale so I imagine they had listed fake items to try and entice people to order. Will shop somewhere more reputable next time
Just moved into a new house so thought about getting cheaper products. They look great on website but cheap rubbish when you get them... reviews are not posted for products unless good... beware. I will be taking further
I needed furniture for my new apartment, so I ordered two living room chairs, two ottomans, an area rug, and a tv stand for my living room, as well as a bed and mattress for my bedroom. I also ordered two sets of dishes, cloth napkins, and placemats for the kitchen. I have nothing but glowing remarks for Wayfair. Quality of everything is AMAZING, and it was all delivered on time--some even earlier than expected! I had an issue with some napkin rings, but the price was refunded immediately. Honestly, I do not understand all of the negative reviews--maybe I was lucky--but I have no qualms about dealing with Wayfair again in the future. I highly recommend their products and appreciate the awesome customer service!
Worst experience ever. Ordered wardrobe in June. Parts arrived in September, 6 pieces damaged. Complained and provided replacements after 1 month. 1 month later they deliver the wrong parts. Replacements ordered, 3 items arrived instead of 4, and guess what? 2 were damaged. It is November. I've been living out of suitcases for 2 years, and Wayfair cannot send a wardrobe without damaged parts. Have explained packaging is bad and the quality is bad, yet they don't seem to improve on this. Have now requested a full refund and collection of the parts. Never ordering from Wayfair again.
Update - Wayfair gave refund but the delivery/collection company have refused to collect the parts because some of it is out of it's packaging. They want me to invest time in packing all the parts in bin bags (my own). What difference will damaged parts be in bin bags?
Alternative is get rid of it myself --- pushing responsibility to me.
Or give it to charity - again pushing responsibility to me - which charity will take it?

I am totally upset with wayfair shopping. I strongly say no to others. I should have seen others reviews here before buying from Wayfair! Dont get cheated with low quality products. There are far better than wayfair!
Ordered a sofa set with a scheduled delivery. First I'm told that the items won't be delivered together... okay. So, I go ahead and schedule delivery for the one item that I can, only to receive an email that the shipment of that item has been delayed, and that I can expect that it will arrive at their shipping partner a week later. No thank you! Of course Wayfair was sympathetic enough to cut my cancellation fees by 50%. I was willing to order from them vs a competitor, because Wayfair offered faster shipping. The joke's on me. Order from somewhere else.
I need to think twice if I am ever to order from Wayfair again. My first order and nothing but issues with shipping and delays and their customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. I ordered a patio set from them and followed up on delays in shipping and they had nothing but excuses. One rep said one thing, another said another thing and no one could get their story straight. They ended up cancelling one order and giving me 10% off next order but why would I ever buy anything from them again. Shabby practices and unreasonable shipping expectations make this company hard to do business with.
I ordered a 12 foot runner (rug) on line. I was a little apprehensive since I needed it within a week. It arrived as promised in 3 business days. No problems. The measurements are exactly as advertised. The colors are brighter than I expected and it looks great.

We ordered a sofa from all modern. They failed to deliver it three times. One time they said the driver just forgot to put the sofa on the track but the tracking showed us that the sofa is coming. We took off of work to wait for the sofa. Right at delivery time, we were notified that it wasn't going to be delivered to us that day.
We then cancelled this order, got a refund, and ordered a different sofa from all modern thinking that there must have been some issue with that particular sofa.
Again, first they changed the delivery date. It was supposed to be delivered to us on the 13 th, they delayed it by a few days. Next, we get a call that only part of the sofa will be delivered. And the chaise part is lost in transit.
Delivery day of part of the sofa is here. Wake up early to track it and make sure we don't miss it. As I am following the tracking and it shows there's only one stop before they show up, I get a call from wayfair saying the driver called and spoke to some person at loading dock who told him no ones home.
This was a complete lie. We were following their tracking, when we got the call the tracking showed they are at some other location, no driver called my phone, and no one has the authority at the loading dock to say whether we are home or not.
Now wayfair is putting the blame on us and saying we missed the delivery and need to reschedule ONCE AGAIN.
This joke has been running for 1.5 months. Our money is stuck with them. They are a terrible company. The same thing also happened to my mom. She ordered a bedroom set from them. Which took more than a month to get delivered.
I will never buy from them again.
I am very articular about things and if I am not happy with an item I buy online I expect the same service as I would get from a local store. If you call customer service you will be satisfied with results every time.

I needed a Mattress and a Bedframe by 08/11/2019 as our Granddaughter was coming to stay on the 9th, I ordered both on the 4th with an est delivery of the 7th for the Mattress and the 8th for the Bedframe.
On the 5th I got an email saying Mattress will be delivered on the 6th and the bedframe on the 7th.
I did indeed receive the Mattress on the 6th but I'm still waiting for the Bedframe which consisted of two packages and apparently the delivery company lost one package on the 8th, I was told that Wayfair couldn't phone the delivery company to ask what had happened.
On the 11th I got an email saying 'Our commitment to you is that we will provide a resolution by no later than the end of the day on Thursday the 14th', I'm still waiting.

I have a credit card with Wayfair I purchased with them before with no problem I even once returned an item I even want returned an item and got credit... So I went ahead and purchase a Bedroom set online they cancel my order without my knowledge they did not even send me a email or anything so I finally went online and I seen that it was canceled after staying over two hours on the phone with customer support was told that I am no longer available to make purchases with Wayfair or their website And they will not give me an explanation of why they just told me that they couldn't refuse any customer that they want to and I got afraid that maybe somebody hacked into my account or something went wrong I kept asking for an explanation they just told me that they feel is best for us to part ways I asked him if I did something wrong they told me no ma'am you did nothing wrong so bottom line is this company is a scam would not even give me a reason why add to that order with them and and they will not give me an explanation of why they just told me that they couldn't refuse any customer that they want to and I got afraid that maybe somebody hacked into my account or something went wrong I kept asking for an explanation they just told me that they feel it's best for us to part ways I asked him if I did something wrong they told me no ma'am you did nothing wrong so bottom line is this company is a scam would not even give me a reason why add to that order with them and of course I still have to pay a credit card that I am not able to even use for future your purchases... but they like me paying a credit card that I can't even use any more also told me that I can't go under another email or user name to make purchase because iam red flagged... it's actually discrimination & bad heartless employees with out even giving u a reason why... so I went on birch lane. I have spent 4months trying to get a sofa from this people
1st order September 13 supposed to be delivered on the 21 never came stayed on backordered. Being patient until october 28. They would call and email you lying over and over again wasting my time but I wanted that color so I was willing to wait. I canceled that order I was fed up. On october 31 I saw same color but different set of the sofa. I ordered it with prayers it will be delivered. Was supposed to be delivered on the 7of same month nothing. I was calling in the meantime to makes sure like every day asking update nothing. I called on the that same day asking why they said we printed ur labels waiting for ups to come pick it up... I was so exited little I know just less then 24 I saw it said backordered estimates delivered 27 September I was so mad. This is crazyyy like for real dont waste ur time please read me well dont Im quite a patient person if I couldn't take I dnt take another human being would. Dont RUN
Absolutely horrible. I ordered a shed on october 2,2019. The shed said it shipped on october 9th and I would receive it october 16th. Well it is november 6th and the shed is still in the warehouse. I contacted customer service and was told that I was more or less forgot about but the shed is moving in my direction. I guess the shipping is free and you get it when you get it. I should have seen the writing on the wall when I decided to purchase the shed it was no longer on sale, even though it showed it was hours prior. So I continued with the purchase anyways. After I purchased the shed the price dropped back down. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. After not receiving the shed on the first delivery date I contacted customer service and was told they could take give me a refund and only charge me the sale price... so they could actually do something about it and lied to me before. I should have, and I recommend, just buying sheds from home depot or Lowe's or anywhere else. It may cost a couple dollars more but at least you'll have a shed. Meanwhile I'll have to wait who knows how long. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas and have to assemble it in the snow!
It is obvious why this company has poor reviews regarding employment. They literally asked for all my personal information and sent an assessment less than 24 hours ago which I completed except for one part. Early this morning I receive an email saying they are moving on to other candidates.
I have provided emails, notice the time and date stamps...

What a waste of time! Tried to order and recently spent 1,5 hours looking for items for my OWN homes renovation! Placed order, card went thru. Next day they wrote me they canceled my order because my billing and shipping is not the same (?!) I called them and spent 45 min on the line explaining the guy that my billing address is my office and I don't want 3 bathroom vanities come to my office address! Guy cleared my account told me sorry but you have to place the order alone again! After spending another two hours trying to find what I ordered Before same thing happened and now I'm on the line again 55 min with their customer service from Malaysia or whatever. What a waste of day. I'm so upset! Waste of time people order from a respectable company
I ordered outdoor furniture in july. They said it would come september 30th. I was refunded an amount by ashley fulker, and told i can no longer complain. Its almost november, and the phone calls and emails have been ingnored by ashley fulker. Im at wits end. This is unacceptable.
I initially ordered two barstools but for some reason there was miscommunication between csr/dispatching department and the warehouse (I assume). Long story short, they end up shipping the other one and gifting me a free one for my inconvenience! Like basically a $150 gift! My bad day turned into a blessing! Thanks Wayfair

Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
