Well, first time using them was a charm: I had purchased a rug (with square trade protection) and then realized it wasn't right for me. They set me up with a return shipping label. All went super smooth. Refund (minus return shipping) happened almost immediately. Even the extra for the square trade protection got refunded without me having to request it. Nice. - They even sent me a "sorry it didn't work out" 10% off next purchase code. Very cool. So I went online to find another rug. - Found one. Loved it. Wasn't sure about the price. The next day The price dropped another $40. Great. Put it in my cart, applied the 10% code but then got called away. Came back to purchase and the price had gone up higher than the original price. In a matter of two hours? When I asked customer service if they could adjust the price they said "Sorry we don't do that." And then added... "You should've have bought it at the lower price." LOL really helpful. Then when I asked another customer rep about getting my 10% code reset he said "No, once it's used it's done." and then he went on to say "You should never not follow through on a purchase because of a minor price change." again... LOL. Wayfair's customer service motto: "The customer should known better." Laughably awful. - Oh yeah, and if the price drops an hour after you purchase... they will not honor the price change either. "We do not do that."
- MY SUGGESTION TO WAYFAIR... Put a colorful banner on the top of your site that let's people know your pricing is like a spin wheel on a carnival fairway. "Step right up and good luck!"

I am a first time Wayfair customer thinking I would give them a go. I bought an entire home office; from area rug, to chair, desk, etc. Less than 15 minutes after placing my order, I found the chair cover for 50% LESS on another site so I immediately canceled the chair cover. However, over 48 hours later I can an email it could not be canceled because it was already ready to ship. Fine. Three days later I get a call from a lady in GEORGIA she had my chair cover. I live in Wisconsin. I had to wait 40 minutes just to speak to customer service. They did refund me but this was my first issue. While on the phone with customer service I ask why the desk I ordered is still "pending shipping" after 6 business days and they couldn't answer. I was told it is scheduled to arrive June 4th. Why would it take 5 weeks to get an item in this day and age? Worst experience EVER. I will never buy from them again. I have legitmate converns the rest of my order will even reach me after waiting.

I call the customer service about my bill after I payed my bill in full Bcuz I do not Went to pay interest on it But still I resaved bill tall me I have to pay the interest, I will Never buy anything from them they are Greedy for the extra money, maybe they will do you like me do not buy anything from them.

Taking into consideration the delays all businesses are dealing with due to the vovid-19 virus. I recently placed an order with Wayfair for the first time. I wanted to make a change, I tried using their online process-did not work, I tried to start a live chat, their site was closed during business hours, I called the two numbers I could find for Customer Service, remained on hold for 40 minutes on the first call and 35 minuted on the second.The one thing that did work is their recording telling you how long you have to wait. I am so dissatisfied with the lack of service they provide once and order has been placed.

I ordered an outdoor umbrella on May 5,2020. It was in stock and said I would receive in 4-5 days. By May 8th, I received an email saying my product was back ordered. On May 8th I filled out the form to cancel my order. Their response was that we will give you an answer in 48 hours. The answer on May 10th was sorry it shipped. It said I would receive the umbrella on March 15th. Today, March 15th FedX does not have any record of my product. I received an email today saying my product is delayed. Tried to call Wayfair and there is a 25 minute wait on the phone. This will be my final experience with Wayfair. There are too many other companies that are honest and working to save their business. Do not need these conditions at this time.

Stole my money

I ordered a bedroom set through wayfair. After only receiving the bed frame and 1 part of the dresser I contacted wayfair for the whereabouts of the rest of it. They proceeded to tell me I didnt order a dresser even though its clearly on my order and I even received a part of it. Because they are out of stock now they are trying to say i never bought it when it's right on my quote. NEVER buy from wayfair if you want to actually receive what you're paying for.

The Worst Company!

I ordered, after hours, a set of 4 bar stools. Within less than but no greater than 20 minutes I cancelled my order as I found something else I liked better. Received an email at 9:13am stating they were unable to cancel the order. Why?! Called and had to hold on for 20 minutes when i finally had a rep pick up the phone to tell me there was nothing she could do it was in the process of being shipped! After telling her I refuse to pay for something I do not want and cancelled within a very short period of time after ordering she refused to help me handle this situation and hung up on me.
Because of this rep and how she handled my account I will never order from Wayfair again! I will tell everyone I come in contact with as well!
So now here I sit on hold again! Not a happy customer!

Never would I buy from here again.
Bought a 1000$ Bed that didn't even come with someone to help put it together. It would've cost 400$ more for someone to help me set it up. It was all cheap $#*! wood & the bed can't even be moved without all the parts being taken apart. Don't waste your time here.

Never order from Wayfair! Yesterday the end tables I ordered came in, or so I thought. When I opened the box, it was totally the wrong table. So I went online and filled out all the information they required to get the correct ones. Today Wayfair sends me an email wanting a picture of the incorrect item. Okay, no problem. I take a picture of the boxes because as soon as I realized it was wrong I boxed it back up. When I went to upload the picture it gave me an error message so I called them to ensure they got the picture because it took two weeks for them ship the wrong tables and I didn't want anything slowing down my ability to get the correct ones. After waited on hold for 48 minutes, the rep tells me "that's a white label item" which she proceeds to tell me means, if they can't fill your order Wayfair just sends you something else that's "close". I asked the lady, "on what planet are glossy, jet black, one platform tables with glass "close" to light grey, distressed wood pattern, two platform tables? She couldn't answer that and put me on hold to contact the supplier. She comes back on and says the supplies says it's just an issue with the camera making it appear lighter. Are you kidding me? How stupid do you think I am to believe a camera can make a black table with a glass top look like a light grey distressed wood two platform table? Additionally the description on the table SAYS distressed wood, it says NOTHING about glossy black. The rep then tells me "they'll end up sending you the exact same thing you already have as a replacement for the wrong item". So I told her to send a return label for ugly tables and to credit my card. Below you'll see the table I ordered with the description saying distressed wood and then the table they sent me that I found a picture of online based on the SKU #. You tell me if they look "close"!?! I really thought Wayfair was better than that!

I recently purchased a dining table chair set from Joss & Mann. The product came minus the large plate that holds the table to the stand. I have called to this seller. Even though they promised the missing part to be shipped immediately, it has been more than ten days and the part still has not arrived. But this company was quick to charge my credit card. So I now have a table that is unassembled in my dining room. Leaning against the wall useless. I call Joss and Mann phone number and gets send to Never, Neverland. No live operator or agent taking my call. Just recorded message how I can go about trying to track down my missing part! Thanks a lot! Wayfair, are you listening? Do you even care? I find Wayfair business practice to be shady. They operate more than one web site... Joss and Mann... Brooklyn. Good luck with your purchase experience with this company!

I cant even get into the deceit I've experienced with this Family of companies. This CEO should be ashamed to show his face. I'm not surprised over the announcement of their huge layoff. They've survived this long based off of their decent product lines, and online convenience. But it's come to a halt because you can find the same products elsewhere many times cheaper and with "hands down"... better service. The "contract"delivery services and warehouse chain can literally be compared to an elementary storage building in terms of planning and logistics. CEO be ashamed that lining your pockets has outweighed and diminished the value of your product not to mention your reputation.

I purchased a cat tree at Costco for $70 and even I came home to review the company that makes it, google brought me to the EXACT SAME cat tree, SAME manufacturer, only, Wayfair was selling it for almost $300!
How does this kind of markup make sense?
Even if you factor in the cost for shipping, (which by the way are separate) and warehouse workers and online fees etc... it still doesn't make sense.
This company is only for people that have alot of money and want to look good amongst their fellow wealthy peers. Is like a status thing.
It's like if you live in Greenwich, CT, if you're not driving a BMW, Mercedes Benz, an Audi or something, you don't make the grade.
Shame on you Wayfair, for price gauging!

I'm out $600

I purchased 5 lighting fixtures through Wayfair using my phone. I went through the normal purchase process, I had to add a new credit card and address. I received a confirmation email and the link to on top of the email didn't work, but I wasn't too concerned. I later received a shipping notification from Wayfair with FedEx tracking number links on top of the email, those did not work. I was supposed to receive the items on Monday and nothing arrived. I decided to give them a break because I know shipping is slow due to the COVID-19 virus. Saturday came and I started to look into it more. I had received an email from Wayfair stating that the items arrived on the previous Saturday. It had a link to my order number, again, it didn't work. So I logged into my Wayfair account. The items went to an address that I had not lived at for 5 years. And my less than 1 year old credit card was charged with that same old address. That old address was never even associated with that card, but it was still charged and still went through. I called customer service and they were no help. I explained to them that I added my new address and new card information, but apparently everything resorted back to my old address. They even stated they know that their links are not working, but if I scrolled to the bottom of their emails, I should have verified my information there. And somehow they were still able to bill me, even though the billing address did not match on my credit card. So I'm out $600. I was told if I called sooner that they would have been able to do something with FedEx, but now it was too late. So I was not able to verify my information using any of their broken links, they charged my card using incorrect billing addresses, and now I'm out $600. O, by the way, no signature was required for delivery of a $600 order. I'm in the military and do a lot of online shopping, I will be briefing this experience with everyone.

Ordered living room furniture for our house three weeks ago. The day its supposed to arrive I get an email saying its been delayed with zero explanation way. Their response. We can cancel your order for $300 fee. Do. Not. Ever. Buy. From. These. Crooks!--

I bought a DVD/CD cabinet from Wayfair. It is a peace of junk. Model number *******/*******. I followed the directions to put it together and went to put the back on it and it collapsed and broke some of the pins and cams. It also pulled some of them out of the cheap particle board that it is made of. I tried to call them and get a message bout how busy they are and my wait time would be 20 minutes. After waiting about 40 minutes no one ever came to the phone. I found another called and got the same message except that they would be a 10 minute hold. Well, after about 30 minutes still no one came on the phone. I did an online request for a refund they wanted me to send it back at a cost of app. $58.00 and sent be Fed X or whoever paper work to get it picked up. Well my printer is broken and I had no way to get in touch with Wayfair. Save your money and or go spend a few more dollars to buy something better. Again, it is a peice of junk.

Their product descriptions are incomplete (you have to buy additional pieces to make the item work, which is fine if they list it with the product, not ok to deceive the buyer), most items are puzzles to assemble (and this is something I do often), even then the screws don't align well or frames are bent. I used to order from this company a lot as a professional. It has gone way downhill. If you order expect cheap, incomplete items that are not even partially assembled. You will get to pay for the return shipping on your partial, crap item. Bummed to share this, they used to be better.

I've placed multiple orders with them; primarily because of the price.
Unfortunately, the delivery service is the worst of any online retailer.
They will tell you when your product will be delivered.
It's always wrong and usually for extended delays.
One never knows when your product will arrive.

I purchased 2 items. When I received their acknowledgement it said 1 would ship as indicated. I hope. The other said 3 weeks past approximate date. That's 4 weeks total. These were spoons. Filed an immediate cancellation not 10 minute from order. Received immediate notice they received it and would begin cancellation process. Next day receive notice not able to cancel. Item was in process of being manufactured and or already picked for shipping or already shipped. So this all occurred in less then 10 minutes from my cancellation? They began manufacturing a spoon? Picked for shipping an already made spoon? With a delivery of 4 1/2 weeks beyond original date? Better yet! Already shipped but won't be delivered for 4 1/2 weeks? From where China? With caronavirus? Immediately called cust serv and got recording at least 25 minute wait. 1 hour and 20 minutes later still hearing 25 minute wait. Finally hung up laughing the whole time thinking this will show people what Wayfair is really all about. WAYFAIR... Yea they are Way Fair with their customers... Do not waste your money here especially on pricier items. My were spoons yours could cost 100's of dollors.

To begin, I told WAYFAIR in January 2020, that there website has glitches under account information.
None of what I purchased, shows up under my account.
I cannot find the towels I JUST purchased but never received. When I called, I got: "all representatives are busy and your wait will be 20 minutes." I Iistened to that 4 x's. When I finally got a person, she said she cannot see any orders I placed either.
GREAT!
Now I have to call my VISA and dispute the charges.
The item that was available is now, OUT OF STOCK and I was never notified.
This store sucks... it just that simple.
They need to go bankrupt already.
I am DONE with WAYFAIR and their fly by night website.
