I ordered a rug from Wayfair and paid for it in November 2021. They said it would be here in 7-10 days. After numerous emails to the company, I kept being told that it was "lost in shipping" and they would research it, and send me out a new one. It is now the end of January 2022, and I JUST GOT NOTIFIED that it is discontinued and they will issue a credit to my credit card. I am so disgusted with them that I will NEVER order from them, and will share my complaint with others, discouraging them to shop with Wayfair also. UGH!
I bought a power recliner i thine 3 years ago I sat back in it and the back fell off I lookin to it and seen where the back connects to the chare was 1/4 inch plywood it just fell apart I throw it in the garbage truck today what a piece of junk you got me this time it wont happen again
Wayfair has gone down hill on customer service, replying to messages, not knowing what is going on with orders. It showed delivered on 1/17/2022 on Wayfair.com, however I had no hot tub, nothing was delivered. Wayfair could not explain it and did not know where my hot tub was. A case manager-Warria, emailed me and never responded to any of my emails. The hot tub arrived today 1/26/2022. This is my 2nd hot tub from Wayfair. I had no issues 7 years ago. They need to improve, train people on customer service.
We waited all day for furniture that was to be delivered between 11 am and 3pm. At 7:30 we received a notice that delivery was attempted at 8:32 pm. Called customer service. Let's just say it did not go well. Buyer beware, if you actually want to receive the furniture you boght.
I started buying online ever since Wayfair started. The customer service was amazing, the quality of everything they carried was great and I even had a wf store card. Not anymore, the quality went down a lot and customer service became ordinary. They have closed my card without letting me know, and now I have to apply for the updated card thru Citibank, I don't need another credit card.
In the past, I have returned items and exchanged merchandise free of charge and now, they charge for returns without letting you know (on the phone) and they give you store credit instead of returning the money to the original method of payment.
So, I rather use amazon to buy the same brands with much better customer service and way cheaper.
If I could give a zero star, I would. My experience with Wayfair has been anything but painful.
Communication is very poor, mixed messages via email leaving you confused of their delivery or collection process.
Delivery attempts were made without scheduling a date so several missed attempt. No resolution in sight and empty promises to resolve.
Their handyman turned up for assembly even after transaction had been cancelled. I contacted Wayfair to inform them; was advised to let the handyman carry on with the job only to be told at the end the job that I had to pay for the assembly out of my own pocket.
They take no responsibility for their mis-management and communication in the transaction and will refer you to their partners when clearly, there is no contract with the 3rd party.
Save yourself some money and headache and use services like made.com.
I had the worst experience with way fair. I ordered a king-size bed and it came with missing pieces and after they sent me the pieces the bed simple broke when I laid on it. I had to call like 7 times in order for them to return my full amount. I later ordered nightstand and it came in with the wrong pieces as well and absolutely useless. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN
I made a purchase of almost 1k. Yes it was delivered promptly however when it was time for someone to come out to put the furniture together no one came! Wayfair had me to schedule twice which means I took off from work TWICE! I would of never ordered if I knew I wouldn't be able to get it put together! No resolution was offered! They refuse to get the packages and give me a refund because I took the merchandise out the box! Worst company ever! Consumer work to hard and the worst is to spend your money and can't enjoy the purchase you were expecting! Bad bad bad business!
Ordered an end table on January 14, and they immediately took my money. I went to check on the order (using the provided order number) on 1/18, and there was no record of my order. Called customer service and they had all the info and even gave me a fedex tracking number. No such number. Cancelled my order on 1/20 but I probably won't get my money back for another 3-5 days. Will never order again.
I ordered 3 toilet brush from wayfair. Box was delivered I opened box I saw 3 tote bag. I called wayfair explaining they mixed up my order. I was told to F off verbally. Followed up email to call police made a complaint about stolen item. Email note from executive team:
As previously mentioned by my colleagues Matthew and Candice, no refund will be able to be issued until a police report is filed and we have an official copy. The official incident report will need to be submitted by 1/26/22, if we have not received it by that date this request will be closed. The decision to adhere to this policy is final. Ordered an area rug. As I began to unroll I say some dried up stains on it. Then realized it was rat poop! The whole rug was covered with it. Gross! Wayfair gave me a refund. But the issue was the representative AND the supervisor could care less that this was really an unacceptable experience. The supervisor nonchalantly said that he's seen it happen a few time before and blew it off as a warehouse issue. He gave no apology.
I have order so much from wayfair it is one of my favorite gift places. Yet I don't know what is going on with the level of customer service and communication. I was told about a pick up and delivery of the same day look in order after waiting not correct date changed no one told me. My mom is 80 I am an hour away I was trying to keep people out the house as much as possible. Unfofrtunate to say after 2 months i spoke with another rep to have install told it will be taken out your card do not pay them cash called asked when was it going to be taken out. Stated at time of delivery date then what happen driver says not so. Just over wayfair at this point I have never been more dispointed in a service. They need to get communication on point put notes for next person stop doing customer service if you don't like the field of service. JUST SO DISAPPOINTED will be a long time before I consider ordering again.
I ordered a coffee table in early December and the nightmare never ends. The estimated arrival date came... and went... and I had to contact Wayfair before they realized that the item "never made it's way to FedEx" and had to be reordered. Once I finally got it, I began to assemble, only to find that the bar to hold the lift top up had been welded improperly, making it impossible to screw the bar to the spring assembly. I've been waiting for my new part for 2 weeks and it still hasn't arrived, so the top of the table is just hovering loosely on top of the table until they get around to sending a part that works. I had company over for Christmas, and to keep the toddlers from getting hurt on the loosely hanging table top, we used masking tape to hold it in place. As soon as we removed the masking tape, some of the laminate peeled off. I politely told Wayfair how unhappy I was about my experience, and they sent me a coupon for 10% off one item. Yeah no thanks. Way un-fair

Spoke to customer services 3 times, each time fobbed off with a date that was never met. Hate being lied to.

Found same item on eBay. Its arrived. Its the same and it came in 3 days. Also wayfair price £108, eBay price £40. Hate being ripped off too.
It's incredible that Wayfair is actually so bad and customer service. They make returns ridiculously difficult in order to discourage returns. Buy somewhere else like Amazon who have 2022 customer service systems.
Ordered a bed over 4 months ago. Still missing 2 headboards & now waiting over a week for the promised within 48hrs contact for pick up as I am tired of waiting because well I need a bed... Ah and unfortunately even after 4 months of delays I can't get my money back until the pick happened and is completed... Quite an experience...
I purchased a bedframe from them on December 24,2021. It said three weeks for shipping which was a long time but OK I'll wait. My day for delivery finally arrived on January 13 2022 I checked the website and it says delivered. It had not been delivered I called the company and I was told that the driver dropped it off at the wrong address he would go back and get it and bring it to me never happened. I called again and they said they would check with the delivery warehouse never got a response. Called the next day and was told the best they could do would be to deliver it four days later so sorry that happened. A manager never got on the phone even though I asked no priority was made to deliver the package even though they screwed up big time. I will never shop with them again this is my first and last experience and it was horrible
My new valencia theater chairs/sofa is so plush and comfortable... the leather is top grade and it feels really good... one my best investment this year... thank you valencia for such a great style sofa...
Do NOT buy anything from Wayfair unless you have days to sit around and wait for FedEx to deliver your package. My tracking showed my package was coming today and at 8:30 pm I contacted Wayfair at 9 pm and was told that due to delivery times the issues the item was not coming and they were not sure when it was going to be delivered. Terrible when you take a day off work to wait for your delivery.
Purchase lamp on Wayfair 1/1/22. Received lamp 1/11/22. While searching online how to assemble instructions on putting together, stumble on Amazon. Wayfair price $359.00 is over TRIPLE amount of Amazon identical product. Felt like I was robbed. Will not and cannot afford to shop on Wayfair website again.
