Poor service, quality and description is way off. Will NEVER buy from Wayfair! Bought 2 chairs that looked similar to what I have and wanted additional seating in my dinning room. I knew they may not be exact, spent a great deal of time using their pictures to compare and reading everything they wrote on the chairs. The chairs were listed as dark. Where in fact they are nearly white. They had no white wash effect in the picture, yet they were clearly white washed. They shared with me no return exchange or refund. I bought them clearance. I was hoping for an exchange. I understood the policy but if the chairs were even close to what I saw in the pictures I coukd swallow the idea of a 400.00 loss. Plus they are like sitting on a rock… total disappointment! They will be trashed!
Do yourself a favor and don't order from wayfair. They are a absolute joke. Not only do they sell absolutely crappy furniture but there customer service is even worse. I ordered a couch, it came broken and defective. I called customer service the same day telling them that I want to return the item they told me that they can't help me and only a ''Executive specialist'' deal with this and that I will a receive a call from them within 3 days. No one called and I kept on calling almost daily for 2 weeks.
Finally a representative gave me a email address to a '' Executive specialist'' who told me to email him ''video proof'' of the couch being defective. I sent them the video and they approved a return and sent me a ''link'' to schedule a pick up for the item. Obviously the link doesn't work and customer service says they can't help and don't have access to that. Please do yourself a favor and don't order from them. It's absolutely not worth the headache.
Most of there stuff is crap from China that either comes broken or breaks soon after. Never again will i order anything from them!
We ordered a pendant light, to be received 7-10 days after. On day 7, the order was cancelled. On calling, I found that the light order was indeed cancelled and that I should reorder. On trying to reorder, I found the light was out-of-stock. What happened to the one that I ordered and had cancelled? Another call. Not only was it out-of-stock, it was not available when originally ordered. And, on further investigation, it is no longer produced. Not reliable.
Bought a bed frame two years ago and now the foot of one just disenagrated. I like the frame. Never saw something like this, it is like sawdust. Wayfair claims if you didn't take out insurance on it they won't do anything. This is just the foot and a big company like this won't stand behirrind it. Hate to have something big happen cause they won't help you.
I ordered a sofa from Wayfair. I uploaded the COi requirements from my building and called Wayfair to make sure everything was ok. They assured me everything was fine and I would receive the COI. I emailed 3 more times and called as well because the COI was not arriving. I called again the day before of the delivery and I was kept on the phone for 1 hour and dismissed at the end with the assurance that everything was going to be fine because the COI had been faxed directly to the building manager. They also assured that the driver would have a copy of the COI. These turned out to be flat out lies.
Of course this morning the delivery guys arrived, no COI had been provided by Wayfair and the building management did not allow them to do the delivery. Wayfair has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I wasted my whole morning trying to sort this out, moving work meetings and they have not been able to fix this so I am still without a sofa. I will never order from Wayfair again. You never speak with the same person, the email addresses are general emails and they don't take notes correctly so any contact you have with them is a huge waste of time.
Bad customer service. They will rip you off and not care. They have a customer is clearly wrong mentally, no matter what happened they will give you a generic answer and not help you.
Ordered and received a 3X5 oriental rug. Unfortunately, the brand name was different and design wasn't what I ordered. I called and was pleased that they would replace it free; but, they sent the exact same rug. I should have looked at reviews of Way Fair before ordering. Not using them again.
I purchased a ton of stuff on wayfair. I always paid my minimum due. I had a 2,000 credit limit. (Going on memory to the best of my ability.) I sold my house and paid off card in full. The criminal thing about commentry bank is that one month before I paid my card off in full they lowered my limit to 100.00. Of course that destroyed my credit score. I was told they were not doing credit anymore and lowered everyone limit. It's a disgusting way of screwing the consumer. I have since gotten a children place card. It's comentry bank. Needless to say I don't use it. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I can't imagine what would happen if I hadn't sold my house, couldn't pay the card off and was 1,000% over my credit usage. So be aware these are the shadiest people ever.
Ordered a recliner on 1/4/22 that was showing in stock, and continued to show in stock for at least a week after order was placed. Paid via PayPal. Initially was due to be delivered 1/11. Then on 1/14 I get an email saying 1/17.1/17 get an email that said 1/24. On 1/25 I emailed to inquire and was told 1/31. On 1/29 I checked the app and it was now showing 2/8. At that point I also went to the items page and saw it's out of stock until April, but was in stock when I bought it on 1/4, so I reached out to inquire again. Was told it was being escalated to another team and if I didn't hear back by 2/3 to reach out. Didn't hear back so I reached out and was told that it would be shipped by 2/5 delivered by 2/8... now after all these other shipping changes I wanted them to confirm they guarantee this, so I replied back to clarify if they were ensuring me that my order would be shipped 2/5. Was told they needed to send to the warehouse and to give th 2 days to get back to me. Then today 2/4 I get an email saying they have no idea when my item will be in stock to ship. They told me I can wait or cancel, so I am waiting on them to "approve" my cancelation. I hope they decline it so I can sic PayPal on them, I have all the email proof!
I ordered two rugs, on sale from Wayfair on Monday, online. The order didn't show up as complete after the first try, and I recieved no confirmation #, and my cart showed up as still having 2 items in it. I Complete the purchase process again, it works, I get a confirmation number. Then I check my online checking account, it shows as two charges; pending. I immediately call Waynotfairs customer disservice number, the girl assures me the extra charge should drop, by the end of the business day, if not, then definitely within 48 hours. Sure, right, ok. I wait over 60 hours for the one charge to drop, and the other to clear. Nope, still pending, perpetually. So I call again, this customer disservice lady tells me it is showing as only one charge on her end, and that, wow, my items actually shipped the other day, seperately even though they sent me no tracking numbers. She sends me a 10% online coupon to my email, for my next purchase, to try and placate me. So I can get 10% off my next double charged purchase? Is that their idea of a DEAL?! Keep in mind, this is the first, and definitely the last time I will ever order from Waynotfair. So again, she assures me, they only took the one charge from my checking account, and that once everything is done pending, the duplicate charge will be dropped. Guess what? It didn't, I checked my account online, this morning, both charges cleared, which means they made out like bandits, on my so called "sale" items. Thanks, you thieves. Hope you enjoy spending my money.
Forget about "bad customer service", let's not fail to mention that the quality of this over priced junk is MAYBE one step above of Fisher-Price! It is UNBELIEVABLE what these crooks are charging for this low quality crap that isn't fit for a trailer! DISGUSTED and, quite frankly, I'm embarrassed to show my husband the junk I ordered.
I bought my coffee table from Wayfair. It is dark grey and has a shine finish to it. Andres put my coffee table together in 10 minutes. It was brilliant…xx
How dare Wayfair and their so called Handy's service put the customer in the middle of complete incompetence. After multiple attempts and scheduling an Assembler, the kitchen pantry could not be put together because of defects and damage to the item. So here we are back to square one and the multiple emails from handy continue even though the replacement item is not here. The bottom line is that Wayfair blames handy and handy blames Wayfair and as customers We are in the middle of their BS. Never ever again. Do yourself a favor and order a rug that's all they're good for.
They have great looking items but Wayfair SUCKS! EVERYTIME I have ordered something from there, I get an estimated delivery date and I never get it by that time. WHY ADVERTISE A DATE WHEN IT WON'T SHOW UP BY THAT TIME! Also, they don't update anything on their "self service portal." All the items say preparing to ship and then you get nothing. You don't get any updates on tracking or even a hey, its been delayed. You have to contact their customer service and they give you all the info. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for something that was supposed to be delivered 3-4 days after I ordered it. Customer Service told me its, already been in a shipped status (portal says preparing for shipping) and that they cannot cancel my item. I've asked where the package was and for some tracking information, rep tells me that the last update for FedEx is that the label was created 2 weeks ago and yet they still can't cancel my order. These Reps are F**king stupid and have no common sense. If its been 2 weeks and status hasn't updated, they never shipped the damn item! Wayfair is so aggravating and this is the last time I will order anything from this garbage website!
I've ordered eight items from wayfair.com and a few days later I saw on my account that two of the item's delivery dates were changed to 2 1/2 months later. I was confused of what was going on with my order and the next day I called and spoke with a customer service representative. She basically said the order is back ordered until Apr. 16 (prior delivery date was Feb. 2). She apologized for the trouble without offering a resolution to this issue besides cancellation. I have my house turned upside down and have been waiting for the crown molding before moving on with painting. I ordered a different style of crown molding which had a bit higher price and the manager said they cannot price match the two items. I went through all the trouble and was not informed in regards of the big delay with my two orders and they couldn't offer a discount or a price match on a different item that hopefully will come on time. Btw, four more items from the a same ordered were already arriving late. The manager said he doesn't think the new order of crown molding are in stock either. During this order, I've signed up for the Wayfair credit card, too. It is a big mess and a lot of headaches! If I was aware of the troubles I would have ordered from other companies not wayfair. They are unreliable and don't offer resolution. Sad and dissatisfied….

I order the Espinozia Head Board and A Metal Bed Frame from Wayfair the sale Associate assured me that it were the correct items It were parts missing the Manger told me I should go to the Hardware store and buy what ever parts I needed to assemble the bed and Frame on my own expense that were anything he could do for me that I were on my own, So I will not be shopping with Wayfair Bad Manger's. I placed an order for a hot tub from Wayfair in December. I was notified it got shipped out Jan 18th. I got a call from Wayfair today 1/31 advising me that the entire hot tub was lost in shipping and they would need to reorder the hot tub and it would take another 6-8 weeks to receive it. How do you loose an entire hot tub? I will not do business with any company this shady. They had my money for almost two months and I have nothing to show for it. Completely unacceptable.
Ordered a bed frame but never delivered, I tried contacting them but the phone is always busy no agent available. I tried the website and the button for help is not working but the order and payment option is working. I'm not gonna order again with this company!
I purchased a ice fishing hut for almost $500 it is now three days late, the tracking information is false on website. Customer service was very rude and did not help at all I would never order from them again!
