The green house is so bad it is cheep and is so complicated when It does not have to be and the plastic is like stuck to the pieces it is also very confusing
Some of the items sold are very cheap in quality. The clothes bag I received today has a stain on it. However, a piece of furniture we bought 4 years ago was really sturdy. The quality seems to be going down hill.
I went shopping for a sofa and loveseat and saw a few I liked. I went to Wayfair and saw the same set for almost 3 times what Ashley wanted. Wayfair changes the names of their collections so you can't compare but do your business at a store and save your cash.
Because I didn't purchase their extended warranty the company refused to honor its product or make it right! Purchased at your own risk!
Shipping takes long but its free most of the time, some items are over priced and can be found on other websites for cheaper but if something is damaged or not right they take care of it right away.
Online picture shows sale price, but when added to cart, price shows a much higher price. Customer service wasn't helping and honoring the price with the poorly designed website. Not my problem! They need to fix this!
Solution…
1. Put "from" for price ranges
2. Feature the item that is that price. Don't show the item that is the higher price for the lower price! Shame on you!
I ordered a headboard. The delivery instructions are very vague. I finally received a delivery date. The date and time came and went no one showed. I called on three occasions, first I was told that I was the next stop, I was then given a ew delivery time again a no show. I happen to check my email and I had been notified via email the delivery was rescheduled from the 18th to the 22nd. Four days later…. Unacceptable Very poor communication and customer service. I cancelled the order. My first and last wayfair order.
I've been waiting for over a month for a $1000 refund. Was told by **FIFTEEN** customer services reps that the refund was processed. Was told on Feb 11th that everyone had lied and the refund would be processed that day. Still no refund on Feb 18th and Management just keeps telling me they will get back to me, but they never do.
Having purchased thousands of dollars for flooring products with Wayfair we requested a return for unused/unopened materials, unfortunately Wayfair refused the return since it was past 30 days since the order was received.
Be very careful with Wayfair if you think you will be having to return anything because their "return policy" is terrible, and they are very difficult to deal with!
We are sorry we ever purchased from Wayfair, we should have supported local businesses.
We would have given no stars for this review if it were possible.
This was my first (and last) time ordering from Wayfair. I ordered a chair yesterday morning and stupidly closed the browser window without writing down the confirmation number (which I never do, so of course this would be the one time I would have issues). Hours later, I still had not received a confirmation email, but they had sent me an email alerting me that there was a new login to my account, so I know I was in their system. I logged back into my Wayfair account, and it said there was no history of any orders AND the chair I wanted was now out of stock. Awesome. So I logged into my credit card information to see if the transaction went through, and not only was I charged, but they double charged me. So I call Wayfair customer service, give them my information, and the agent says not only do they have no order history for me, but according to their records, I didn't even have an account, which was hilarious because I was logged into it while talking to her. So she searches by email, name, phone number, credit card number - nothing. She then keeps saying " well if you used PayPal or ordered through a third party site or perhaps used another email" and I kept telling her NO, none of those things occurred. So I ask how do I get this double charge off my credit card and she replies, "umm, I guess you'll have to call your credit card company and dispute the charges." Un-freaking-believable. So I then had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with my credit company explaining the issue before they would drop the charges. I will NEVER order from Wayfair again.
I spent a lot of time going through options for my son's bedroom set. Spent days looking through the site. I finally made a decision to purchase. I submitted the order, paid, and even received a timeline for receiving the shipment. The next day, I received an e-mail saying my order was canceled because it is no longer in stock. It was in stock the previous night. What happened? Furthermore, the 3 to 5 days turn around on giving me a refund is ridiculous!
When I pulled the hide a bed out on the couch the black frame rubs against the front of the couch frame and transferred black paint onto the couch itself. Wayfair/Birch Lane would not exchange the couch for another couch but only offered me a ten percent discount. Not ok!
I purchase a desk and then someone gave me an amazing one a few days later. I called to have it canceled and they charged me $150 to reroute the item! Beware
Beware for Wayfair ~ I placed an order for a mailbox that was 200.00 after getting a notification it would take over 2 months to receive I canceled my order~ on the phone with " Latasha". Within minutes of placing the order.
A day later I get a notification it was shipped anyway. After speaking with customer service I was told the item cannot be canceled nor returned ( after I was told it was canceled) the reason was it was " made to order" this " made to order mailbox seems to be available & already made on many other sites! I had already ordered another mailbox after being told this was canceled. Now I am told once you hit that button, it's permanent ~ no cancelation, no returns. So beware, or maybe shop somewhere else where you can return or cancel this item!
Tried to order another item…. The site does not recognize my past email…. Yet I get all kinds of their junk mail…. Site asks for NEW EMAILS EACH TIME YOU ORDER…. So who is to say that this newest added email is going to work in the future? What a crock website…. And NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHATSOEVER WHEN YOU EMAIL FOR A FIX…. The heck with it…. Taking my business elsewhere!
The worst customer service in history. It doesn't surprise me at all that they only averaged 2 stars. I can't believe they are still in business.
I bought a rug from Wayfair in November of 2020. The colors are beautiful and the rug is soft, however, in less than a year it has started falling apart. Everyday, tufts come out with normal use. I feel like I spent $500 for a piece of trash. Very disappointed and I would encourage folks to not take the risk of ordering something from Wayfair because when it falls apart within a year you are out of luck.
They sell very cheap furniture all from China and when it fails/breaks/falls apart they refuse to stand by any of the junk they sell. Free shipping? Its not free, believe me, their prices are inflated to include the shipping.
Don't waste your money.
My account was hacked and two orders were placed shipping to two different addresses. When I received the confirmation email about these orders I am mediately went in and canceled the orders removed my credit card and called customer service to make sure the orders were canceled. They assured me that both orders were canceled. Three days later I got an email saying they could not cancel one of the orders. I then received at my home one of the orders. I called to return the item which I had never ordered. They will not take it back saying that I have to make a fraud claim with my credit card company. This company is the absolute worst. Be warned. I have already spent hours on this, and still no resolution.
After waiting seemingly forever in getting a chair we bought on Wayfair, the chair was delivered defected. Two of the threaded holes were faulty and you couldn't screw in legs so basically the chair is no good. The smug no-it-all customer support person (Kevinn S.) would not let me talk to anyone in a higher management position. I should of been offered some sort of compensation, but this smug support person said nothing. Never buy another product from the, Will go to Overstock.com from now on!

Answer: Ive ordered several things and I believe they've all had pictures on outside- sorry.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
