I ordered a dining set that was to be delivered on August 7th between the hours of 10am-2pm, at 4:45pm I contacted Wayfair and was told that the driver had his phone off and she could not make contact with him. I called back at 5:15 pm and spoke to Tasha, I informed her I wanted to cancel the order and she told me a supervisor would call in 3 days. I received a email today August 8th saying the table would be delivered August 10th, I immediately called Wayfair and spoke with a customer service rep and informed her that I needed the order cancelled as I told Tasha yesterday I would be out of town for over a month. I also told the customer service rep that this is the second time within 2 weeks that I've had a problem with their delivery. The last order I purchased the order came without the hardware Wayfair had to refund me because they could not find the hardware to put the table together. Now understand for this second order the driver never showed up and now I'm out of town Wayfair is charging me $140 dollars to return the order, the order that I never received and is sitting in their warehouse. The rep said, I really want you to let us deliver the order so I don't have to charge you the $140 dollars for return. I said, I really wanted my order to be delivered as promised. I'm done with Wayfair and I should not be charged the driver didn't show up and did not communicate. I got no compensation for this and I'm being charged. I will try taking this to small claims to get my $140 back. I was not at Fault.
I set aside 3 hours away from work waiting for a delivery of some furniture that was scheduled to be delivered from 9-12. I also hired a handyman to help carry it up to my apartment and assemble. No delivery; no notification. I called at 12 and was told the item was in transit 3000 miles away! Totally unprofessional! Totally ruined my day and cost me tons- I am self-employed and don't get paid if I don't work. I will not use Way Fair ever again.
I ordered a Serta mattress in a box. Never left the warehouse. Cancelled the order. Assured by Wayfair it was uncommon. I reordered the mattress with express shipping, same issue. Wayfair reps were polite. Disconnect between supplier and Wayfair. No one could answer when I would get the mattress or why it wasn't leaving the warehouse. 900 in stock. Will never use Wayfair again.
This was my first (and last) time purchasing from Wayfair. I bought the Veda tv stand/bookshelf bundle. I paid extra to have my items professionally assembled. The tv stand arrived a week ago. The 2 bookshelves arrived 3 days later. The assembly appointment was scheduled for yesterday at 1 pm. At 1 pm, I started looking out the front window to keep an eye out for "the pro." 1:15 passed - still no pro. At 1:29, I checked the Handy app and there was a note that the pro "is all done." I reached out to the pro and asked why the app said he was all done when he never showed up. Half an hour later, while chatting online with customer service, I get a message back saying that he "showed up and knocked on the door but nobody answered. Called you from the driveway, no answer. Sent text messages from the driveway, no answer. Notified customer service and left, per instruction." I advised the pro AND customer service that nobody approached my door and I never received any text messages or phone calls. Customer service offered to reschedule the appointment but I would have to wait another 48 hours at least. I requested that they cancel the booking as I didn't feel that I should have to wait another 48+ hours when I wasn't at fault. The agent canceled the booking per my request.
Purchased kitchen faucet and accessories. Due to constructive delays did not have the kitchen completed within 30 days. Faucet color is different than what is depicted on their website. Wayfair refuses o allow a return or even give a store credit.
I have bough an dishwasher, and it always shows delivered to an wrong address, which is not even in the same state I have lived. And it happened 3 straight times. I bet they will never deliver the items to you and always lack of communication to you.
Wayfair is by far the worst company I have ever worked with to reroute a package. I noticed as soon as my order was placed, that my old address was input. I contacted them immediately in which they told me a label had been created and to reach out on the next business day to double check with shipping. They refused to take any action on rerouting the package and told me to contact UPS. Whenever I contacted UPS, they informed me that it was very possible for Wayfair to update that shipping address. When I spoke to customer service, they insisted on putting it back on UPS. I was on top of the shipment every single day to update address checking multiple times a day with both shipper and UPS. Wayfair refused to take any action and instead suggested that I contact UPS to reroute and had to pay UPS to reroute the package. Wayfair's customer service is bottom of the barrel.
Ordered a desk for my son to take to college on 8/2/22 and my card was charged. Received notification that delivery estimate was 8/5. Had not received shipping notice by 8/5 so contacted customer service via chat. Was told they would look check warehouse and have case management team contact me. We ordered a sectional sofa from Wayfair & before we purchased we called to check on the exact color & the Wayfair rep told us that it was espresso a dark brown color & that's what we were looking for, so after they confirmed we placed order. Then after waiting for order to finally arrive we opened & it's black! Called to see why & it doesn't come in espresso? We told them to come pick back up at which time were informed they will take back if we pay all shipping fees & I did! Just would never buy there Cheap Chinese garbage again!
I had a worst experience with Wayfair especially with their customer service. I've been waiting for my order for 1 month and it was never shipped. I tried calling customer service to get my order cancelled and process refund which they outright refuse citing some policies. Their managers are worst, I think they are trained to not be empathetic to any customers, this is the response from one of those blood sucking monsters - 'You are making a big deal out of simple item worth 50$, I wonder what else is going on in your life, you should probably check yourself with doctor'. I don't know what else to say here, how can they comment about my personal life? This is a horrible experience, i'm never going to order again. Please stay away from companies like this, now I truly understand the greatness of Amazon and how transparent their policies are and how empathetic they are to customers.
The first experience with Wayfair has been a nightmare from the beginning! I will never use them again! I ordered a recliner on August 1st the estimated delivery was Friday August 5. It requires assembly so I had to pay for a handyman to set it up. Since website said that delivery would be on Friday, I scheduled the handyman on Saturday at 11am. I have a broken ankle and I'm not home but my sister will be there on Saturday. Now it is saying delivery will be on Saturday. I already have the handyman booked for 11am but unsure if it will be there to assemble. I talked to 2 agents one was a manager and one was worse than the other. They didn't care at all. No sympathy whatsoever and orchestrating the delivering is all on me. They won't change the handy man for later in the afternoon on Saturday and it's too late to cancel the order. Most companies don't charge your credit card until the item is shipped! Not Wayfair they charged my card on the day after the order was placed! The managers apathetic solution was to tell the delivery party to hold it at a location and if it's not picked up in 5 days it will be returned! This is the solution? Be careful if you are ordering something that needs assembly because you will have to pay and schedule ahead of time and then customer service will tell you the delivery date is just an estimate and then you are on your own!
8/1/22 Ordered big chair from Wayfair with expected delivery of 8/4. On 8/4 no delivery. Wayfair site still lists 8/4 delivery - no tracking info. Call customer support and they provide FedEx tracking number. FedEx tracking website says label created, but package not yet received by FedEx. Customer support tells me they can't cancel the order, cause it's in transit. But it's not in transit, cause only a label has been created. I feel bad for CS rep. No idea of why the chair hasn't shipped, no idea of when it will ship and I won't let me cancel order. Stay away from shady Wayfair.
I have purchased one fireplace in 2021, and the item was sold even though it was out of stock, so i cancelled the purchase. The problem is that I financed it using Easy Financial, and I have already paid for the delivered products, however, they keep deducting from my bank account every month. I've sent at least 4 e-mails to Wayfair and Easy Financial and I did not get an answer. Terrible customer service, selling an out of stock product and deducting from my account every month even though i already paid the full price. They ignored all my attempts of contacting them. I do not recommend buying on Wayfair and I would not like anyone to be experience that level of disrespect.

Was promised assembly on arrival. It arrived by FedEx. Dropped on my door step. Only 2/3 of my couch. Assembly will be supposedly done in 4 days by Handy. I had to wrestle the 2 large heavy boxes into my house. The base and seat cushions have not arrived yet. I called customer service. Oh, we're so sorry about the misunderstanding. No. You lied. You call customer service they ask for screen shot of their website for yesterday where they have full control and changed. Won't cancel order neither. Going to dispute through credit card

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! First of all I wouldn't of given 1 star after the experience I have had with wayfair but that wasn't a option I had to give it a 1.
We ordered over £700 worth of lights from wayfair for our flat refurb, and we kept some and needed to return part of the order. We set up the rerurn online and paid for the premium UPS service, but they never turned up to collect the packages. Wayfair also double charged us for the return fee originally and I had to call to rectify this and set up a new collection. I set this collection up 5 times and UPS never came!? I lost work because of this huge innconvience. Wayfair blamed UPS everytime, although UPS NEVER received any order to collect from wayfair!
We have had multiple calls and emails to them and no one ever offers any real help. We now have to return the boxes ourselves through royal mail and pay for this as wayfair do not even have the decency of covering this expense, despite my awful experience with them. My partner ego made rye purchase is also 40+ weeks pregnant and have told wayfair this, but they are still happy for her to have to run around just to get these returns completed. I am absolutely disgusted with them, NEVER AGAIN would I use wayfair. 1st and last time. My advice would be to stick to more reputable companies like John Lewis and dunelm for homeware.
I am very upset with your sales team. I saw a price on the website for two counter toolbars, it was $243, while it was $115 each (if I bought 2 it would be $230). Well, i sent a SMS to your sales team, and they (they told could not tell me their name for secure proposes *never see it before**), and even though I sent a picture showing it, they told me the price of $243 was correct. I know very well if I find a different price on the website, I have to pay for the low price, and this person did not care about what I was saying. Ok, I was about to buy it, because of this not respectful attitude I will not buy anything in this store (website) anymore. I used to buy a lot of things there. I loved this store. I thought it was a fair place to buy things, but because of a BAD NOT TRAINED SALE EMPLOYEE, you lose a good customer.
Two months a go I ordered a bunch of stuff one of my order they told me it will come after two months and I waited then the days come they told me to cancel the order I even requested to replace it with something similar they didn't agreed unless you want to be disappointed by there service don't order anything from them.
