The company exhibits a mixed reputation, with some customers expressing satisfaction with their purchases and the quality of products received. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, including long shipping delays, inadequate support for faulty products, and issues with returns and refunds. Many customers reported feeling frustrated by unresponsive service and a lack of accountability when problems arose. This suggests a need for the company to enhance its customer service practices and address operational inefficiencies to improve overall customer satisfaction and trust.

I had an unauthorised payment come out of my Paypal account and the seller happened to be Watchshop. So I called the number on the seller's description hoping to stop the payment before the "goods" were delivered. Some Russian guy answered the phone who barely spoke English and then I was put through to a woman based in the UK. I was told I needed to send the details of my Paypal account to their "security team" which I refused. After being told there was nothing they could do to stop the payment, I wrote a scathing email basically telling them that the UK authorities would be informed if they did not return my money. Just like magic, the funds appeared back in my account the next day. These guys are bad news, do not buy from them!
Horrible customer service. Transactions fail and price goes up on items which were in cart.
Almost seems like a scam.
Website glitches when submitting a request for assistance.
No north american phone number.
Watch was okay but was really noisy (strap links rubbing against each other and made it look cheap despite the expensive price). Partner did not like the watch due to the reason above. Not to mention the customer service team which was appalling when i called to discuss a refund with them. Her name was Sana and was one of the most impassionate people I have ever dealt with in customer services. Avoid this company like the plague as they are out to rip off and nothing else. Even when I asked for a supervisor/manager i was told there was no one to speak to and no call back could be arranged which I find shocking for a UK based company. I also asked for a complaints address and I was informed there was none but instead was given a helpdesk email address (scratching my head)... DISGUSTING I TELL YOU... If i had read the reviews from other customers which are expressing displeasure, I would never have bought from them.
I purchased 2 watches and the money has been taken from my bank account. I rang customer service a week later after receiving no email update. A very rude person who calls herself Matilda said the transaction failed, even though the money has been taken from my bank. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she would not put me through to one. This company is a scam. Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GANGSTERS
I ordered a watch over two months ago they needed to add extra links to the strap at no charge so we expected a slight delay, I STILL haven't received my watch and lots of to and froing of emails and promise of returning phone calls that never happen and they have simply taken my money but provided no product - amounts to theft as far as I'm concerned - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Watch was either slightly damaged or used based on the fact that the screen had small scratches on it. Took them a week longer for delivery than they said
Last month I ordered a watch for my friend to gift in her marriage. It was beautiful... she loved it but its box was missisng... otherwise watch was good.
I have ordered a watch for my sister 40th birthday with a next day delivery. The item did not arrived and we had no information about the delivery being late. I want to my sister's party without a present and when i called them they said that i ca have 10% discount. All buyers get 10% discount anyway so they wont do anything to fix theyr problem... Very bad customer service... better buy else where...
Bought a kate spade watch from watchshop faulty on arrival flat battery apparently. I asked for a refund which was not forthcoming as apparently the watch was scratched and had been worn. Why would you were a watch that did not work? Poor communication from returns department never reply to e-mails disgracful company. You have been warned
BUYER BEWARE!!! AVOID
Watchshop is a joke, they sent me a slightly different product to the one pictured on their website and when your buying an expensive watch you expect it to be the same. Due to their poor response time this really messed things up around Christmas and New Year. The watch was a gift and as a customer I felt cheated. Customer services are next to useless, it's like they've got selective reading. It's like they ignore 90% of your e-mail and focus on what ever your least preferred option is.
Wouldn't use this company again, those of you wanting to purchase expensive watches do yourself a favour and AVOID as you may feel cheated by what you receive. Thanks for having a negative impact on my Christmas and New Year!
Sent a damaged used item then didn't reply. Doing a chargeback through PayPal
I purchased a watch from watchshop which was faulty. I sent the watch back to the company for them to assess the issue. They decided it should be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. The watch was returned to me in a repaired state and then it stopped working in the same manner it had before.
At this point under your consumer rights you are entitle to a refund for the purchase. I sent the watch back and asked for a refund. The company would not grant me a refund over multiple email and phone conversations. Not only were they at risk of breaching the contract you hold with them as a company when purchasing a product but they also weren't too bothered about their on going customer service reputation.
In short, the prices are attractive, but there is a serious issue with communication within this company and lack of proper management and process to deal with issues and complaints. Go somewhere else.
Please if you have any issues with the company refer to the which website on consumer rights and also money saving expert.
Whilst the customer service is polite and reply swiftly, the watch I bought (for £197) was faulty - the button that sets the time seemed stuck. I asked them if they had experienced issues with these watches before (there was no manual, so maybe I was doing something wrong), but they chose not to answer that question, just telling me to return it. I am under the impression they get a lot of returns, as a returns label comes with the product. I returned the watch, but the returns label they supply with the watch is not free postage, and they refused to refund me the £4.45 postage because apparently there is a free returns label on their website. Then why is the one that comes with the watch not free? What a waste of time and effort. Avoid the hassle and go through a proper retailer.
I ordered a links of London pen for a friends birthday. It was meant to come in a links of London box with a guarantee. It didnt! I complained and was told they would be sent to me, they weren't. I sent numerous emails and phoned and was promised it would be sent out by two different members of staff. Today I received a links of London bracket box, which a pen won't fit in! I called and was spoken to by a rude woman who overtalkwd me and said it wasn't worthy of a complaint! If anyone from watch shop head office reads this, listen to the phone calls. Absolutely disgusting! Never use this company!
A bought a watch from the watch from S. A and within the next 3 days it was at my door step. Very easy service and I was very hapy with the product.
Please do yourself a favour and never order online from these guys. 90 of anything I purchase is done online. Never in my life have I been fobbed off and given false and different information from several different staff members
One of whom actually started making things up to get me off the phone. They still haven't replied to my emails and presented no payment was taken even though my bank gave me an authorisation number related to them.
Returned a watch to be told that because the protective plastic had been removed from the strap & clasp it had been scratched, even though it wasn't delivered with this protective plastic on! I said maybe you scratch it when you resized it for me, they conveniently said they forgot to resize it! Presently in touch with citizens advise as have no watch now & no refund.
Price match is a sham
This company claims to price match but it DOESN'T. Which makes me wonder why they say they do? The watch in question is a seiko SNP129P1 which was found to be cheaper (28/05/2016) in debenhams and hence meeting watchshop's price match guidelines.
Below is a copy of their response to my price match request;
"We offer our sincere apologies, but in this instance we are unable to match this price.
Although we cannot provide reasons for specific cases, please ensure that your price match meets the following guidelines:
The lower priced item is exactly the same item as we have listed.
The lower priced item is not an ebay or auction listing.
The lower priced item is not secondhand or preowned.
The lower priced item is a genuine product.
The lower priced item is being sold by a seller in the UK - remember, when purchasing from abroad you will have to pay import tax and customs duty on top of the original price.
The lower priced item is being sold by an authorised dealer.
The lower priced item is part of a clearance, seasonal, overstock or liquidation sale.
The lower priced item is currently in stock and available from the other vendor."
It has taken me a long time to finally decide to write this review, because I was so angry at the way Watchshop had treated me as a customer. This company are, in my opinion, the absolute worst internet company that I have ever dealt with. They offer an excellent and quick sales process, but thereafter, if they have sold you a bad watch, as they did to me, they are inconsiderate, abusive, and aggressive in their retort.
After ordering the wristwatch from them, it arrived quickly, but with a broken bracelet. The watch kept good time when left static, but when worn it stopped and started often, and therefore was not a working watch. I returned to them, and after they tested the watch, they sent it back to me. I then tested in a static situation (it worked well), and then for several days on my wrist when it continually stopped and started at will. I returned it again to Watchshop. After a period of time, they eventually sent an email stating that the manufacturers have tested & resealed the watch. I informed them that I had paid for a new, working watch, not a watch that had been repaired. I told them that I would only accept a new watch, or a full refund. They ignored my requirement, offered no excuse or apology, and sent the watch back to me without my agreement. The watch now lies in a drawer unused. I bought the watch for £80 in their Black Friday weekend sale (the original advertised price was £149).
You will see from the other reviews on this webpage that many have suffered from Watchshops abuse of their customers who complain. They are undoubtedly a company to be avoided at all costs. I strongly recommend, as others have done just go to your local high street, avoid any Watchshop if there is one there, and visit another shop. Do NOT buy from Watchshop under any circumstances. If you are sold a dud watch, then it is your problem, not theirs, and you will never get your money back. You have been warned!
Answer: I have only bought from their shop in Reading, but received terrible aftersales service. Don't touch them; there are plenty of other suppliers.
Answer: They will not refund you your money. The only way I got it sorted was to get Visa involved. I also contacted Casio and suggested that the stop supply them.
Answer: Sorry. Unable to assist but looked it up, appears to be a very new website based in hongkong and may well be dodgy/some kind scam but not sure if honest.
