The company exhibits a mixed reputation, with some customers expressing satisfaction with their purchases and the quality of products received. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, including long shipping delays, inadequate support for faulty products, and issues with returns and refunds. Many customers reported feeling frustrated by unresponsive service and a lack of accountability when problems arose. This suggests a need for the company to enhance its customer service practices and address operational inefficiencies to improve overall customer satisfaction and trust.

My boyfriend decided to make a Christmas gift for me and ordered Olivia Burton bracelet from the watchshop. Watchshop has really good rates on popular rates pages. They have 5 stars and a lot of opinions on ceneo (polish site with shops rates). My boyfriend ordered the product from the watch shop on December 8,2020. To date, he has not received an order or a refund. He wrote many e-mails to the watch shop while the bot responds. They lie that royal mail is not tracked. This is not true. Watch shop robbed us. We don't know where to report this problem anymore. The lawyer told us to file a complaint with the European consumer center and maybe they can help us get our money back. I've sent them a many DM's on their instagram profile (they have 15k followers and I think most of them are fake). They also started to delating my comments xD. They provide false telephone and tax details on their website. Finally we got our money back but it was really hard to bring our money back. Watch shop it's a scam and they are robbing money. I don't understand how it is possible that there is so much positive opinions about this shop. I will tell everyone that shop is scam.
Don't bother save your money... spent 100 pound on special birthday items for them not to come contacted the company... so unhelpful there attitude is it's not there issue! They have my money and don't care!
It is long time ago, back in 2016, I have purchased from watchshop.com my Tissot (invoice *******x). Just now something got broken, so I have visited official TISSOT representative office and service centre here in Vienna (Austria) and they shocked me my TISSOT is fake! And they have rejected to service them. So need to throw them...:-(
After purchasing an Emporio Armani watch for my wife and I from the watch shop the battery run out. A local high end jewelers had been tasked to renew the battery. The shop manager come out and stated the watches were fake and asked where we had bought them. The manager had said he would report the watch shop for selling the fakes. After contacting the company several times we received bad attitude and no refund. The watch shop are disgusting pieces of $#*!e who's only interest is getting as much money for as much profit on fakes.
I'd avoid that shop at all costs!
Ordered swatch watch late Thursday evening, delivered first thing Saturday morning, great service, thank you.
Brought a Seiko turtle PADI edition and it came in a completely different make watch box so I opened up a case with them through there customer care team and they basically didn't care and didn't offer to sort the matter and just ignored me very disappointed with there customer care I won't be ordering from there again
Scammers. Be aware. I bought a tissot watch from them for $1100. I've never received anything. I opened a dispute with credit card company and I have to wait. It has been 35 days now. The phone number they have on website go directly to voicemail.
Purchased a watch from them for our daughter's Christmas present - it doesn't work.! I have sepent since Boxing Day sending e mails which they have ignored, the phone just rings constantly and nobody answers, and they ignore facebook messenger. Their customer service is non existent, all they are interested in is taking your money from a sale.
I have bought nine watches from watch shop. All perfect purchases until the last. Not only did they ignore my emails asking for help resulting in me having to send the watch back the emails from customer service show a complete ignorance of product guarantee. They are great until there is a problem then they don't want to know. I have had to spend $57 NZ dollars to return a faulty product back to them wasted $21 on a battery because I thought that was the problem only to discover the watch stopped working a day later.
I will not buy from this shop again. And to the high and mighty person that slagged off the negative reviews wait until you have a problem. Believe me you won't like it like all of us. As I say I've bought nine watches. 8 experiences all good the last one disastrous and I'm out of pocket for the equivalent of 180 pounds.
I returned my watch when the numbers began to fall off.
It was six months out of warranty.
Watchshop said it was due to wear and tear'.
I said it was unfit for purpose clearly the hands falling off under the glass wasn't a result of wear and tear and asked them to repair it.
They refused, quoted me £18 to repair it, and a few days later upped the cost to £80? Never had a watch where the hands fall off and never dealt with such a joke of a company. Customer service? Forget it.
As for my request for the manufacures contact details, (Armani) Watchshop somehow couldn't/wouldn't provide any confirmation that they'd spoken to Armani or sent it back to Armani for repair, simply choosing to avoid all requests for information.
Received a Rotary watch ordered as a gift for a family member.
The watch was not working when delivered so, clearly no quality control before despatching.
Sent back and replacement (same make / model) issued. This watch lasted just under 7 months before failing. Taken to a jeweller expecting perhaps a battery needed but, after testing told it needed a new movement costing £60 and a week repair time.
Under warranty returned to Watchshop for repair. After 3 weeks no contact or update from them so called and told by them, " its not our fault, its the manufacturers fault and it will be 5 weeks or so before you get the watch back".
In future I will use a jeweller where I can view & try on a range of watches before buying and also get far better customer service.
Watch out with this webshop! The watches are often cheaper than at other stores, but nothing has to be wrong.
The service is very bad! The strap of my Hugo Boss watch was damaged after wearing it once. The coating came off the watch strap. After having sent the watch back, I was accused of having handled the watch badly! Really outrageous!
Fortunately Hugo Boss helped me with this and replaced the strap. Hugo Boss found that this was a poor quality strap. No more problems with the Watch. Top service from Hugo Boss!
So people don't buy anything here!

I purchased a watch as a Christmas present & it stopped working after less than four months. I returned the watch in its original packaging with the warranty/guarantee, a copy of my original order, an email explaining that the watch is faulty & a covering letter. I have since sent a total of eight emails & the issue has not yet been resolved - it is a complete nightmare! The WatchShop Support is beyond hopeless!
I paid good money for this watch & I am now out of pocket & without the watch. Reading these reviews is making me doubt whether I will ever receive a refund or a replacement watch.
I have never in my life received such a diabolical customer service - or should I say disservice! Avoid them like the plague, would be a fitting title for my review! However, I chose a few apt lyrics from the theme tune to 'Only Fools & Horses' - a title I felt was even more fitting!
My watch broke shortly after it arrived. I sent it back (as instructed) and asked for a fix/replacement or money back. 8 weeks later and a few emails saying they're looking into the issue' and still nothing has been done. And I've not been told of any progress (other than to confirm they've got the watch) either. Awful customer service.
KEEP AWAY MY WATCH BROKE WAS TOLD TO SEND IT BACK AND THEY WOULD MEND IT? AFTER 3 WEEKS RUNG THEM UP TOLD IT WOULD COST ME £177. IVE STILL GOT A YEARS GUARANTEE LEFT BUT THEY SAID NO? TOLD THEM TO SEND MY WATCH BACK BUT STILL WAITING
I don't know if all these negative reviews here come from plane stupidity or advanced incompetence. Ordered twice from watchshop and it got delivered lawlessly within two days. Last one was an Armani watch. It came in its original packaging and the genuine Armani seal, the $#*! is real. I even broke it after two years of use, I dropped it it and the glass cracked. Sent it straight to Armani for repair and they replaced it for me. It's an official shop that takes its watches straight from the manufacturer. Also checked at a jeweller who confirmed and refused a repair because they didn't have the necessary materials and offered to send it to Armani for me.
To the idiot claiming they take pictures from Amazon and listing the same watch for 5x the price: You know that any wannabe "trader" can sell his items on Amazon, right? Amazon is not just an official retailer, it's a provider, like Ebay. So if anything, those wannabe stores on Amazon stole pictures from the official trademarked and registered king-of-the-hill watchshop. And they sell you cheap China copies, like 80% of the unofficial trash on there.
You guys are unbearable. Get the $#*! out of here when you can't make a simple order or are too stupid to contact customer support in case of a shipping/Information mistake on your or their side, most likely yours. Doesn't surprise me, you don't even posses the skills for proper English, let alone explaining what your damn problem was and what you did against it.
I encourage anyone interested in real and genuine watches to get to watchshop. That London store is more than trustworthy, they're a proper business of the branche. And when in brainless doubt like the Amazon kid down there, call up Hugo or Armani or whatever and ask them if they ship out to a retailer called watchshop in the UK, they'll confirm you.
This company steals photos from Amazon product listings and then lists them as their own on their site with a 500%+ mark up. They have no products and only exist to rip you off.
The attached photo shows my product - a Swiss Legend watch strap that we listed on Amazon for $24.99. They are "selling" it for $129. If you order it from their website, you will not only pay 5x as much but you will never receive it.
I never received the watch. I ordered it 16.12 and it was supposed to arrive with DHL in 6-10 days! It's been over a month and half now. It was sent without tracking number. The seller has promised to refund the amount after 21 business days, but has terminated the communication and hasn't returned the money.
I have had a terrible experience with this company.
I have bought over 100 watches privately in the past. This is the first time I have used watch shop. Customer service is appalling.
I tried to get a price match. I was fobbed off and told they couldn't help.
I sent over 5 emails showing the price match- screen shots and web address.
To no avail.
Appalling customer service- call handlers seem half asleep
No professionalism. They sound totally unaware of how to answer the phone or deal with customers
Answer: I have only bought from their shop in Reading, but received terrible aftersales service. Don't touch them; there are plenty of other suppliers.
Answer: They will not refund you your money. The only way I got it sorted was to get Visa involved. I also contacted Casio and suggested that the stop supply them.
Answer: Sorry. Unable to assist but looked it up, appears to be a very new website based in hongkong and may well be dodgy/some kind scam but not sure if honest.
