When it comes to top notch professionalism, Tangie meets the qualifications. She's always respectful to my family and very reliable when it comes to my garbage service. This hardworking young lady is always putting a smile on my face by engaging in small talk with my children as she passes by and always being concern and letting us know what she will strive to do if we ever have questions or concerns. I have no issues with her when it comes to trash removal.

Missed pickup

I cannot get a hold of anyone to complain about missed pickups. I had to call the BBB in order to have my trash picked up and now it has happened again so I guess I have to call the BBB again!
This is ridiculous especially in this heat!

After paying for the year, I would get random charges that would stop my pickup and charge me to get it going agian, they wouldn't pick up when it snowed. And wanna charge me a 75$ pickup fee because I chose not to renew. Disgusting

Very shady and a rip off. Their answers have never matched their actions. I was a customer for 5+ yr until I needed to cancel, then I could never get through to them. When I enter the account #(after cancellation), my calls go to an automated loop. I made a duplicate payment on their site by mistake and, you guessed it, I will not see that money again. They sent a bill showing the final adjustments and more charges. As long as I was a customer, I have NEVER been late on a payment. Left them and went to Republic Services. Will NEVER use them again for any of my locations again.

I disagree completely with Waste Management's pricing, business practices, as well as how they agree to part ways with their customers. If my bin was slightly overfull, they snap a picture and then add a surcharge of about 30% of their fees. Their fuel charges are also not disclosed and extremely high, then when you try and cancel that is when the going gets rough, really rough!

I wish I could give them zero stars.

I want my garbage company to pick up my garbage; to stop raising my costs; and to not nickel and dime me.

You don't pick up my extra bags next to my bin because I presume it's too much work for you to get out of the truck. You tell me I can pay $35 more my 3 bags picked up. That's ridiculous.

WM was supposed to get our neighborhood trash on Thursday. They didn't show up until the following Tuesday and left 2 bags of trash I had to put beside my trash can, since it was full. 5 days late and refused to get 2 bags! (Good thing they raised their fee with all this great service.)

If I had a choice to give no stars, I would. The dump truck operator refused to pick up my garbage bin this morning. He stated that my truck was blocking the bins. My truck is about 10-12 ft away from the bins and for the most of part, the truck is in the driveway. Just the bumper end is in the road. My truck is about 11-13 ft away from the bins. The operator is coming from the right side of the house. The neighbors bins is not too far away from mine. He can easily pick up my bin without any issues. Let's say, if he is having a hard time getting to the bin, he can take the 3 seconds to back up to make it work. For God's sake, the dump truck has a mechanical arm that goes out to grab the bins. This is not the first time I had issues with them. I can see why they have a 1.5 star rating. Please see attached picture and judge for yourself.

They will charge you to deliver they will charge you to pick up and will charge you to cancel. Pick someone else. This is from their email...Please be advised, a cart removal charge of $75 per cart, plus applicable taxes and charges including fuel surcharge, environmental charge and regulatory cost recovery charge were assessed upon termination of services. Please note the prices provided are for your first billing period. Prices are subject to change for future billing periods.
They have a crappy automated system their hold times are lengthy and their service is horrible. Be simpler to just drive it to the dump yourself

No dumpster

We are moving out of state and called to get a 2 yrd dumpster to be delivered. Dumpster never got delivered but the money was instantly taken from our account. We waited all day but no delivery. Had to make a dispute with my credit union to try to get my money back. When I called, the automated service said they couldn't find me. Stay AWAY!

First phone interview seemed to go really well so i got schedule for a second phone interview a week after and never received a call so i reached out and they gave an excuse which i can understand forsure, things happen, well they recheduled it and STOOD ME UP AGAIN.

Use to be you were allowed 1 large item per month to be picked up for free. Now every large item you put out is $20+. No more freebies. Ridiculous. Then we wonder why tvs etc are sitting in the median of Interstate 376!

Last Friday my trash was not picked up due to the driver blocking my from getting out. So driver allowed me to get around him since he allowed me to get around him he choose to not pick up my trash. I was cussed out and humiliated with aggression and trivet tried making an altercation in front of my kids. It's been 5 day after 7 class and speaking to supervisor I was notified everyday that I was gonna get a call back. Within 72 hours. Never happened. Nor was my trash picked up. Day 5 still have my trash and they are not going to pick up since they keep sending someone out and the driver or dispatcher keeps closing the job out. This is not a healthy way to TRASH ur customers. I'm tired of calling and got the runaround. Sitting here with empty promises and the trash on my hands. Why can't they just do what they say they are? I have wasted over 7 hours this week being on the phone and was not able to get anywhere.

If you are considering WM, PLEASE consider other options! We have a 20 yard dumpster at our office and have been trying for WEEKS to get it emptied and replaced. We get texts every few days that they've postponed the pickup and will be here by end of next week. The next week, we get the same text. The following week... yup, you guessed it.

I also have an issue with an "inactivity fee" of $140 they've charged us (since THEY are the ones causing our account to be "inactive"). It has been absolutely impossible to get a human on the phone.

We are switching to a different company!

Terrible Service

If I could give 0 stars I would! We recently stopped service and they refuse to come pick up their trash can from my location. They say we no longer have an account so therefore they can not find us in the system to come schedule a pick up. Stupid customer service. They say they don't even service our area… yet they had come for pick up every week with no issues before. Come pick up your trash can before I file a report with police.

Waste Management Techs ARE Unprofessional, when they come on-site the tech gives my Maintenace staff a hard time, the techs never want to do their JOBS that they are paid to do!
