Trash does not get picked up weekly, you have to guess if they will pick it up from week to week. Garbage is piling up
"Sorry, we are having trouble finding your service information. Please chat with an agent online or call us at *******547 for further assistance." My online message. Waiting for hours for phone help then they said at 3pm their office is closed. I just need a wood shelf item pickup. I've been a good paying customer for months.
Our govenor is going to hear about this.
One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Customer service is complete trash--pun intended. Their chats disconnect you before the problem is solved. They don't answer your questions. They ignore your questions. They charge extra to pick up a simple rug or small item. No email. No live phone help. You can't even click on their "customer support" link off their website. Complete scam and a disgusting company to have to deal with. Shameful for $40+ a month service.
How poor of a structure does this so-called company have that they can't even accomplish THE ONE JOB they're paid to do? Drivers lie about attempting and completing pickups, and face ZERO repercussions for not doing the single thing they're paid to do. My waste bin hasn't been picked up for a solid week. It's not overflowing, it's right in front of my house at the side of a major road, my house has a very obvious address number on it, PLUS my file has a description of exactly where my house is. And yet they still fail at every turn. I've called every day to report the missed pickup and my FULL bin is STILL sitting at the roadside. Unbelievably lazy and dumb.
They don't pick up often. They lie. They claim their equipment breaks down. They don't have enough staff. They are expensive. They leave trash behind. They make up excuses on the phone.
WM (Waste Management)'s CEO makes tens of millions in exorbitant salary ANNUALLY, mostly in bonus and runs a TERRIBLE operation of almost non existent customer service (bots unanswered calls and emails and the like). Despite numerous calls and long hold times I never reached anyone to help me after my missed bulk item pick up that I had scheduled, confirmed and relied on. In short, My scheduled bulk item pick up was left for four days in the rain on my driveway (despite many hours spent trying to find a live person or help) and I had to pay significant dollars to have the items taken away,else be fined. My advice- Take one of Jim C Fish bonuses (what a waste! -pun intended) and hire some customer service reps.
We discovered in Flagstaff that a local company offered better service at a lower price. We decided to change to this new company. I subsequently spent over an hour and a half just to cancel the service. Then came the final bill problems with another hour spent trying to pay the final bill and fees for picking up the containers. I will never do any business with this company again with such poor customer service. When they asked if i would like to have them call me back instead of waiting, I selected yes and nothing happened. It's hard for me to understand how this company can stay in business with such poor customer service.
For the 6th or 7th time in the last year our garbage wasn't picked up on the scheduled day. This is how it goes every. Single. Time. Pick up day is Friday, trash doesn't get picked up. Call Monday morning and they say it will be picked up that day. It isn't. Call Tuesday and again am told it will be picked up that day. It isn't. Call Wednesday and they say it's scheduled to be picked up Thursday. It isn't. And here we are at Friday again, the regular pick up day. Every. Single. Time. There are two elderly, incontinent people that live here. We go thru a lot of bulky garbage. Having to go two weeks between pickups is impossible. I'm sick and tired of crappy service and being jacked around all week on the phone. They just can't get their sh*t together. Unfortunately, where we live there is no other service. If there was we would change. They know we don't have another option so they can get away with treating customers like this. Shame.
Absolutely awful company. The charges they have you sign and agree to include "extra fees" that more than double what your signed to pay for. Then if you want to get out of our contract, the early termination fee is the full amount you would have paid for services to term. Then on top of that, they charge you upwards of $600 to remove their equipment from your site if you discontinue services. Definitely and unethical company and I wish I had read reviews before getting caught up with them. Please, save yourself frustration and a significant amount of $$ and do NOT use this company.
I have been on hold for over 50 minutes this morning because the didn't pick up the garbage. I tried calling them yesterday at 4:45pm but apparently they are "closed" at 4:45 pm on Monday's. Worst Customer Service I have experienced! The absolute WORST garbage service! I am changing as soon as I can get a representative on the phone!
There's not much to say beyond the fact that whoever is contracted with WM in our area never actually collected our garbage, despite several assurances that pickup would be rescheduled. Like the material WM deals with, it was very satisfying to dump them.
Be careful with this company. Once you are locked into a contract they will add charges and increase fees. Breaking a contract is an onerous and expensive process unless you are able to inform them during the small window that shows up in the fine print. When we finally cancelled we received an $800+ bill to pick up the bins. The negative reviews speak for themselves.
Hands down, worst company ever. Trying to cancel is like a bad divorce. Can't ever get ahold of anyone, they say one price and send you another, charge over 100 bucks to cancel and keep billing long after service has ended. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy
The worst trash service company ever. They stopped picking our trash because we change our card. We have tried to call them many times to change our payment data but we havent made it to talk to them. We talked to their virtual assistant Lisa who could not have found our address and she said we have no acount with them. We gave up and opened an account with a different trash service company because this is ridiculous. After a month and a half we are getting hit with a bill for an insane amount: 60$ plus some resume fee of 70$ all for the service that we haven't experienced for a long time. What do they say? It's our fault because we havent canceled our service. Ridiculous. Don't sign up for this service. Whenever you want to change anything in your account they are not ganna pick up for hours and Lisa will say that she can't find your account. Go for Carefree Disposal if you want to be talking to a real person and expect a decent trash pick up
I have never dealt with a company that cares less about their customers. They miss pickups. Stop picking up. And are just difficult to deal with. Then they ignore requests to talk to them about any issues you are having. I don't know how they stay in business other than they have am monopoly on trash pickup in some areas. I am trying to determine whether it's worth it to take legal action at this time. I am advising you to find another option!
For many years, Ray's Trash, Clayton, Indiana blessed our Habitat affiliate with free service. Since the sale to Waste Management, we have had one pickup in three months. Each week, we called to say that the pickup did not occur. Each time, after multiple transfers, we were connected to someone supposedly in charge. For the first two months, they insisted that our container was emptied. Then for a month, they said the issue would be resolved. Today, when I called to ask them to come and remove the container, I was given a date three weeks out. Clearly the service delivery of this company is either too extended for their capabilities, or their management is inept. I believe they have purposefully created the crisis to get us to terminate the service, rather than then tell us they no longer wished to donate the service.
Has the worst service. Never use them. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They were suppose to drop off my waste bin Wednesday. Never did. Then I called to reschedule for Friday… Never came. Now they're about to close in an hour and it's still not here
For several weeks, waste management has failed to pick up bags of leaves that have been awaiting pickup. The bags were originally properly bagged and did not exceed 50 pounds. Upon contact with waste management, we were informed that they would only be able to pick up 10 bags at a time, this was understood but at this time no bags have been picked up. After further communication a representative with waste management confirmed that pick up would occur on Friday, June16th. The same number of bags remain. Additionally, the bags have been rained on several times, and ran over creating a unsightly scene.
This seems to be associated with discriminatory practices, and one can not help but conclude that if we were in a neighborhood that was not predominantly black, results would be different. This is not the first time we've had issues with this company and is honestly unacceptable.
Pick up day was June 15th 2023. Didn't happen. Contacted WM. June 16th. Said they would pick up by end of day. It's now June 19th. Still no pick up. 2nd time this has happened.
I go to the dump with my trash and now I am getting billed for a compost trash can that I do not need or want. This should be against the law! So the people that can not afford this service should do what?
And how are you going to raise your prices but cut service back to once every other week. I wish more people would protest this nonsense!
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
