Overpriced thieves. They quote a price but jam administrative charges and fuel surcharges down your throat. When you go to cancel you get such a run around that you end up with several more months of bills even though they aren't collecting trash. One of the worst companies on earth. If they have enough money to sponsor a golf tournament they don't need yours. Use any other company….this place sucks. Driver, customer service, you name it. Arrogant jerks that laugh at how they steal from you! Karma is all I will say to end it. See you soon bois
I have lived here in Radcliff, Kentucky for nine years and I have always had two of the waste management, large trash cans, and two of my own that I have bought. They have always picked that up and now I if I set out a bag or anything extra on the side of my trash cans which me and my husband are both disabled. The trash man tells us that he can't pick them up that we have to pick it up and put it in the trash or self because he's not allowed but he picks up all of the neighbors trash like broken down fans chairs whatever but yet he won't do ours and then I came home today and I had three trash cans sitting out and they only picked up one can so I called and they informed me that I don't pay for the other two so therefore they're not picking it up anymore they want me to pay an extra 150 some dollars for just one more trashcan per year and then I was told if they come out to pick up the extra trash, they would charge me $75 but that's just for the green trashcan. They wouldn't pick up the trash out of the black trashcan but my neighbors have two trash cans and black trash cans and I have a few neighbors that has all that and they pick up all of that every week, but conveniently they won't pick mine up. But they're allowed to do whatever they want to the customers because I was told from the mayors office that he has a contract with them so therefore we can't go anywhere else for our trash service which I don't think that's fair. That sucks I'm sure he gets all of his trash picked up and here are some pictures for proof, the black trashcan with my trash in it. I don't have proof of payment because I pay over the phone but I do pay for a year at a time.
Missed pick up constantly. Calling the service center is my husband's daily routine now. Finally talked the supervisor. She said " sorry and it wont happen again " and the next day they missed pick up. Who gave the waste management this super power? Waste management made tons of peofit for years. Is this how they make money? Charge thousand's dollars and no service?
This company is horrible when I say horrible it's even and understatement. I called and told them that we no longer need their services because the place we are moving our business to provides us with free trash service. Well they tried to make it almost impossible and then the harassing phone calls and emails became nonstop. Then when that doesn't work that start with insulting phone calls. I am now forces to file a police report and will be hiring a lawyer to send them a warning before I sue them for harassment. You have been warned please becareful with this company.

Calling them is an absolute nightmare! You can't get a live agent without 20 minutes of arguing with a machine! Worst phone experience ever
I've been a WM customer for about two months, and I can count on two fingers the amount of times they've actually picked up my trash. Because it's only happened correctly twice. Each other time they've lied and said it was either serviced when it hadn't been, or that I didn't leave my bins out when I had. Their customer support is absolutely atrocious, and completely unavailable when you need them.
Every time we schedule a pick up they don't show up. Call the following day and they say their vehicle broke down. Reschedule for the next day and they don't show up again and claim they couldn't get it. Reschedule for the next day and they claim something was blocking it. ALL LIES! Their drivers are horrible and just don't want to do their job. How can you maintain a business if you need your container emptied and they never empty it. How do they stay in service? If I could give less than 1 star I would!
We all understand that price increases happen. WM used to only do small annual increases. After covid19 they started doing residential quarterly increases. After addressing this with them and telling them that the cost was not affordable anymore, they reduced my cost to their competitors price. The next quarter, they raised it right back up to where it was prior. They did nothing but make excuses saying it's computer generated. So I went with their competitor and when I went to cancel their service, they tried again to reduce the price. It's all a big game with them to see how much money they can get out of people. Oh and they charged me a container removal fee of $91.18. Their invoice says $75 and they just keep adding fees. So think twice, because they'll take all they can get and don't care about their customers.
We ordered a dumpster replacement almost 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for a new dumpster as ours has rusted through and one wheel has completely collapsed. I've called 4 times and have been given a different delivery date each time. I've called today alone 3 different times to get an ETA and was told we are still on schedule for today. Our dumpster still hasn't arrived and it's now 10pm. This has been the worst trash service company I've ever had! They also miss emptying our dumpster almost every other week and don't attempt to come collect until I call and then still have to wait several days before they will come.
This company is really in trouble. Lack of drivers, customer service is horrible, drivers can't read dumpster pickup/dump details, they dump recyclables into the trash truck when they're 'supposedly' recycling(and they'll tell you every chance they get how green they are), wait til the last minute when they're not covering your route, can't answer a phone, can't design a website you can find anything on, can't conduct a chat session to resolve issues, charge your credit card again for service when you're carrying over $300 credit. I could go on and on. Terrible company, poorly managed, under-staffed with under-qualified individuals. No one knows what's going on and this is one of the bigger outfits. What an embarrassment as an American company. Shut it down if you've achieved your level of incompetence and can't take it any further. CEO probably grossly over paid with funds that could be used to better their workforce.
Terrible service all around. Scheduled bulk pickup online like I was told to do. Bulk pickup is once a month. I Scheduled, my neighbor Scheduled, my husband saw the driver's sitting at the dead end day of pickup. Guess what, NO pickup, for me or neighbor. We both called and were told it would have to wait till next month! Also told by 2nd agent, don't need to schedule, just need to put it out and drivers will collect it, uummm, it was out for August and drivers didn't collect it and it was scheduled! Very poor service all around.
They don't pickup all your garbage, just the half of the container and also they skip you sometimes, even when the rest of the containers in your neighborhood are empty. We should pay only the half of the bill if we are not getting a complete service. WORST SERVICE IN MY AREA, (TUSCALOOSA. AL), I WISH A COULD HAVE ANOTHER OPTION.
So I've been having nothing but trouble with this company. I put my garbage out today and didn't get picked up again. So I called and asked what's going on can I get a credit he didn't pick up my garbage again and they said no because I was over I was like what so I went out there and I looked and you could see 1 1/16 of an inch of the bag showing I was like really I mean I had a total of two of the white kitchen bags in my garbage can that was it nothing else but I'm not allowed to put a rock or a strap or anything to hold the lid closed. I could push on that with one finger in the lid would close. I mean, if that's not petty, I don't know what is I mean come on. Then to top it off they won't give me a credit. The problem is we are stuck they are the only garbage company around and they know it. Basically they can get away with whatever they want.
I canceled my service with waste management. It cost 90$ for them to come get the containers. I paid on 07/21, i was charged another 90$ on 08/09. I canceled in june, it took them 2 extra weeks to come get their containers. Good luck trying to call and get ahold of a human, they have the worst robot caller i have ever experienced. This company is intentionally made it very hard to cancel and obviously still tries to sneak money from you months after youve gotten rid of them. The company is legit trash.
I've had WM since 2/4/23. My weekly trash service has been picked up TWICE! They have reimbursed me $12.36 - instead of 5 1/2 months worth of missed pickups.
As every other review will tell you, just don't use them. Customer service is non-existent. Lisa is the virtual bot that "helps" you when you call customer support, but it's like they've actually paid $$$ to design the using the phone, to be impossible!
What's worse - when you log in to your service account, it shows 100% perfect weekly service. They have a service manager named Shelly, that actually called me about the ongoing issue. Shelly cannot be reached, even when you directly ask for her. So getting any help, or even reimbursed properly, is truly IMPOSSIBLE!
Missed pickup dates, ignored phone calls and emails, overcharging. Jennifer Avilla and Justin Hooper try to appear helpful when they want to retain you as a customer but when you decide to leave they treat you horribly.
They don't stay on a consistent pick-up schedule and customer service/follow through is bad. We will be dropping their service soon.

Use anyone but them. Horrible to do business with. I have never dealt with any business like them!
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
