Ordered a pair of glasses from them at the Red Bank location. Had to email my prescription to an email address
Did that 3 times at their request. Finally went to the store to rectify and they claimed all was good. Started getting emails again and finally had to go to the store to cancel. No one ever returned emails and was told there is no phone in the store. They have no regard for their customers and cannot rectify problems when they come up.

I ordered online a replacement pair of glasses, as those I have are scratched. After 3 weeks, I asked for an update, and they realized that the person who had taken my order had made a mistake and they were waiting for me to send my glasses, in order to replace the lenses. I paid the difference in order to get the frame as well and I was assured my finally corrected order would be given priority and I'd receive what I needed in one week. One week later, without any news, I wrote them. And then one of their supervisors realized that, not only that frame was no longer available, but that they could not send me another pair of glasses without a doctor's appointment first! I will certainly NOT use their services every again, and I will keep wondering if they took advantage of me because, as they know from my doctor's appointments in the past, and my own name, that I am a foreigner.
The best customer service I have EVER received! Warby Parker genuinely cares about their customers and allowed me to exchange my glasses 2 times with no problems at all! Quality service and quality product, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
I ordered contacts online. Five days later and they still haven't shipped. They can't tell me what day they will ship other than I should expect to receive them by 10/19. Hopefully they'll arrive but it shouldn't take almost 2 weeks to order contacts. I could understand if there was an issue with a prescription or it had expired. But it was brand new and uploaded with the order.
The fact that Warby Parker needs to know a clients annual income, my race, and the size of their customer's family is very suspicious. When coupled with the fact that every time one opens the app they are prompted to take another survey is beyond suspect, and proof the company is actually just data miners using cheap eyewear as a means to collect that data.
I ordered my glasses online at the beginning of this month. They then asked about my lenses and for my PD to which I answered both and got email confirmations saying they got my responses. Fast forward weeks later and I call and see what is taking so long and they tell me it's because they need more info. I told the guy on the phone that I had already answered those questions and he said that someone didn't enter the information so my order was just in limbo. All he could say was that he was sorry and he moved it into the que now, and that I would have my glasses in 4-6 days. I paid extra for expedited and it's taken a full month for me to get my glasses. Online is absolute trash.
Bought a pair of prescription ‘Abe' sunglasses at Warby Parker which seemed to be very poor quality. Earpiece broke off at the hinges due to rusted screws only about 1 year after purchase. Seemed like an easy enough fix so I took them back to warby to get them fixed and was told that since one of the screws was ‘stuck' inside the frame it was ‘impossible' to retrieve and all I could do was buy a new pair for about $225. When I questioned further she said ‘look I've been doing this for 20 years, and trust me it's not possible to get the screw out or for the glasses to be fixed'.
I left the store frustrated but instead got them easily fixed elsewhere for about $25. Bad experience, will never buy from WP again, bad quality and they don't stand behind their products.
I bought progressives, light responsive, polycarbonate coating. $485
They DO NOT respond to transition in lighting AT ALL.
I don't know if it's their coating, but both lenses have a fading going on from the bottom of them. It looks like a sunset or sunrise, whichever you want to call it, coming up. It's ridiculous. When attempting to clean them you get strange"rainbow oil slick" looking circles.
One of the very flimsy and cheap plastic nose guards fell off the third month.
DO not fall for the "gimmick" of ordering glasses from home. This is definitely one item a person needs to buy "LIVE".
The 5 women's sunglasses I tried were broken and they were also ugly and not trendy at all. I now have to go out of my way to bring them to drop them off at the post office, since they weren't picked up from my mail box as promised.
I love my glasses. I did not even have to get used to new glasses, which I usually have to do. However, I have been trying to get an answer to a question about my shattered lenses (long story), but have not received an answer. Therefore, I rated them as average.
Warby Parker is very quick to request payment and very slow to deliver a promised product. My order as well as my son's became lost within the Warby Parker system and after calling multiple times while experiencing extended hold periods I learned through very vague customer service statements that the glasses were not yet in production. This is after 2-3 week ordering period. I do not recommend purchasing eye-wear from this company. Strong on promise, short on delivery.
The first time I used Warby Parker when they first started they were excellent. Poor Service now. I kept waiting for second set of glasses I ordered and I looked at my order status on their website. Stated "We need more information". When you call no one answers the telephone and they never respond to your email. I guess they have become so big they cannot keep up with the demand of their customers. Shop somewhere else.
Had the same style of frames break twice and within a week I had new frames at no cost. I really like that they manufacture their own frames which means a flawed product becomes a learning moment.
We placed an order. Order was shipped via usps order was lost. Sent 2 emails and tried chat. No response at all. Really bad.
Customer service is absolute garbage both in and out of store. Email system has no response, no receipts sent out, online chat doesn't work, and phone takes 20-40 minutes to reach someone every time who is no help. Sent my return a week ago and still no refund. Terrible service.
I don't even have the glasses I ordered yet. I've contacted customer service and a week later, still no response. Never again.
My in-store experience (trying on glasses and such) was great. The salesman was very helpful. Unfortunately that is where my positive experience with Warby Parker ended. I ordered two pairs of prescription eyeglasses. I received one pair about two weeks after I ordered them (within the 10 business days WP claims you will receive your glasses). However, the second pair (which according to "Track My Order", I was supposed to have received on the same day as the other pair), never arrived. I had no luck getting a response from the two "customer service" representatives I spoke with on the phone (both who had promised to send me an email later that day with information about the status of my order), nor did I receive a response to an email I sent to WP "help" center directly. If you are okay with terrible customer service, you might be okay with buying your glasses from WP.
After purchasing expensive ($400+) in March 2020 and waiting until late May to get them (due to pandemic) I discovered that I couldn't see well with them. The local WI store reopened in July and I asked for an adjustment using the corrections listed by my opthalmologist. To date they have steadfastly refused, blaming the coronavirus. This product should carry a warranty for fitness of purpose, so if this continues I will file a complaint with the state consumer protection authorities and my insurance company.
They do not refund. You are lucky to receive the glasses if ever. I am now waiting three weeks for glasses that were supposedly sent over night. But for some reason I received the try-ons right away. Twice now I have not received the glasses. And, they will not refund the money. This company is honestly fraudulent. It is scamming hard earning people for their money by spending tons on swanky ads and then not delivering. AND refusing to refund. It's egregious.
I sent in my order with my prescription 4 weeks Ago. I got the first email today telling me to contact them with additional information in order to start the order. What a complete waste of my time. The were extremely quick to contact me telling me to return their samples though. I cancelled and will go to a different company.
Answer: $95-$145 for single vision depending on the frame material.
Answer: Save the heartache and go to a better provider. I ordered progressives and could not see out of them. I went back 5 times and they wouldn't correct the lenses. After the first 3 visits, they made me go back to the Optometrist to check the prescription. I did that, and they still said the problem was the prescription, so I went to another optometrist who also said the prescription was good. When I took that info back to Warby Parker, the said they can't make glasses for me. I asked for my money back and am still waiting.
Warby Parker sells its own line of designer prescription glasses and sunglasses. Warby Parker is based in New York City and has retail locations in several cities including LA and San Francisco. The Warby Parker name comes from two fictional characters created by Jack Kerouac.
