Stolen money

Horrible when it comes to dealing with stolen money. I proved that money that was taken out of my account was under a false business and they just want me to wait 7 days and then file a report. And then possibly get my money back. You know its fake and its pending just cancel it and block it like any other debit card!

Awful experience

Purchased to pay my car insurance bill before it canceled... complete fail. It was declined multiple times.
When I called- they promised it was fixed (I called 3 times in 4 hours, every time was the same b. S.)
Car insurance canceled, I'm beyond upset. They even charged $5.95 monthly fee. I hope the person responsible for this company suffers from terrible karma, since there's nothing I can do directly.

Third party thieves

Walmart, green-dot, and the ghost. These are the suspects. Before my money was swept right under my feet. My last purchase was actually Walmart. We were getting stuff for my daughter's birthday. Had no issue's with the purchase. Next headed to pick up the cake we ordered. When ready to pay. My card declined, three times. So I checked the mobile app and sadly found out my bank account completely wiped out. Bogus charges from out of state. So immediately called tech support. WOW! So basically was told that they couldn't do anything. They say even though its in pending. Wait until its processed and then calls us back or go online and file a report. I so confused why it couldn't be canceled. So yes needless to say. My money is now gone. So there you have it the The THREE THIEVES. I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT

Photo depositing

I've had to call customer service numerous times about the photo deposit. I've had MANY problems with them just don't like to deal wit customer service often. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESNT HELP AT ALL, just some rehearsed saying they say to everyone. The 1st couple of times I deposited my check, because I don't want to be out and about with the Corona going on, it's bad enough I have to work in it, it worked with flying colors, this time and the time before has just been stressful and really makes me want to go elsewhere! I actually had to cash the check after trying at least 30 times for them to "read" it and just said forget it. The time after that, now it's going to take "SEVEN" days in order for them to give me money and yet I can't cancel it! It was really outrageous to have to wait 7 days for a check you just waited 7 days for! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! I wouldn't have deposited it if I knew this was going to happen! Very irritate at this point!

Do not make any purchases online with this card or give this card number to anyone to make a payment unless you know the company you're dealing with and there legitimate. You are not protected against fraud with walmartmoneycard. Com they suck and will not help you you are on your own. They got one star from me and I would give him no stars if I had my choice. Don't waste your money be careful when you purchase with that card. There a fraud, that is Walmart money card.com

I have had the Walmart MoneyCard for almost 4 years and until this weekend I would have recommended it. Apparently, my card was compromised and a $200 unauthorized ATM withdrawal was made. I called the next morning to dispute the charge. The next day I received an email stating that after a "thorough investigation" my dispute was denied. I again called to obtain the specifics and was told I would need to place another dispute as the first was auto generated. I was given a case # and told if it would take more than 10 days I would receive a provisional refund. I was also told that I would need to prove where I was when the charges were placed. Since this took place on the WE and we are in a pandemic, there is no way for me to prove anything. I again received an e-mail stating that after thoroughly investigating my dispute was denied. I made 8 calls to speak with someone for help and was either hung up on, left on hold or call was dropped during transfer. Funny that the withdrawal was supposedly made at 12am however the establishment with the ATM is closed at that time. No one, including myself, could have used that ATM at that time. DON'T GET A WALMART MONEYCARD, plain and simple.

Everything advertised about this card is completely false. It says that you will get your direct deposit up to 2 days early. However I have experienced that it takes actually two days longer than everybody else. If you have a problem with some sort of fraudulent charge or anything like that the customer service is very poor. And if you can get through to somebody about a fraudulent charge that you haven't made then all they can do for you is cancel your card and send you another one then you have to wait another seven business days for that one to get in the mail so you better not have this is a primary checking account I can tell you that now. Don't don't make the same stupid mistake I've already made. Get a real banking account

Walmart money card is a complete scam. I've lost thousands trying to deal with them. If someone steals your $ they'll say it was you. The customer service # doesn't work and if you can get through you'll be talking to people in India that don't care about helping you. Be smart and get a card from a bank. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I've been trying to load someone else Money Card online & this person got it 05/27/2020. But when I put the 16 Digits from the card online they say the card # is an invalid period. & Why in the world, when most people are on a restricted income & Walmart, does to individuals do & even I shop w/them myself & online but after this, they lost my business 4 real. & this amount isn't $10.00 it's more & you don't even return the Money & who does that. Hey Walmart you lost my whole account I will take my business else where starting now. Thanks for nothing w/ your fake $#*! Money Cards & you have the nerve have loadedable. Horrible horrible Walmart card you can do anything they over charge you then you have to wait for hours for a rep then they can't change your information so you can create an account, to connect to your cash it is a mess to inconvenient frustrating to cash app. They resp can't update your information. They are horrible don't want your time with this card a extremely big hasle ugh

Walmart money card has blocked me from using it! I have money on my account but app says its blocked pending further review and I dont know why! My card is being declined even though it shows I have money on it! I keep calling the number on back of card but they will not answer been on hold a total of 6 hours plus in 3 days! I dont know how they can keep peoples money! This is BS!

On 4-9-2020 I went to an ATM to with draw cash to pay a debt. The ATM kicked out a reciept saying it was unable to distribute cash at this time.( keep in mind my pay check is direct deposited to this card so the money was there). I did there dispute transaction... sent them all they asked for to do there so called investigation on the matter. (in which the reciept shows along with a screen shot of the accounts activty from the app)as of today I've still not recieved anything from them... AVOID this greendot affiliated card at any cost.

Switching to Chime

Only go with Wal-Mart money card if you're looking to be tortured. Their customer service is horrible. I waited OVER AN HOUR for someone to pick up the line & they hung up on me before I could say a word. Their app has constant glitches and, if you're the kind of person that locks your card, good luck getting it unlocked when you need to use it. Go with chime. There's no monthly fee, their app is always working, much easier to read, & much more user friendly. I honestly don't know what chime's customer service is like because I've NEVER NEEDED to call them. I'm so happy to be getting rid of this stupid Wal-Mart card...
