I have 7 cards with these people and 5 have been blocked for over a month. I have spend endless hours being tossed around from. "Specialist"and "supervisors" that have no way of helping other than telling me they are very sorry for the inconvenience and how to upload the same documents over and over. Very rude, un empathetic, un professional, non English speaking people I have ever spoke to. Now my 2500 I put on these cards is decreasing as the keep them blocked and deduct so far 2 months of fees. Before its over all my money will be taken while you "protect me from fraud." I need my money!
I have been banking with them for 4 years and they put a "fraud alert" on my account from a refund due to me from a hotel stating that the way that the hotel refunded money was not correct. It was a WIRE TRANSFER. NOW I have over 900.00 that I cannot access. I called today again this has been going on for 3 months and I cannot have this money refunded to me for 3-5 years WTH then I need to go to the state for them to refund me MY MONEY! DO NOT USE THEM!
Walmart money card is a darn good card. I am their customer and I love the card for the exception. They have us calling a customer service number speaking to foreigners whom have my social security number. They have all my information my address and so forth. This former United States Marine detest this. Hire people in the United States who are hard working, pay a good wage and use folks that are going to do the job well and not harm my information in anyway. If you look at the credit agencies and those Executives from both Green Dot Bank and Walmart Corporate know what I'm talking about. Have you dialed the 1-800 number to check on your credit report and spoken to their customer service? Tell me how you feel about that. When you call the credit agencies they are using folks in Pakistan and India. The are looking at your social security number and where your family is. I don't think you like it either. I'm sure you don't feel warm and fuzzy about them handling your credit, do you? I don't care how secure you make that working environment overseas because there's always a human factor and humans will always fail you. Just look at the cost you're paying, you're not really saving any money, you losing money. The money you could possibly make on that great card is unbelievable if you would all just wrap your arms around it give it a big hug, go on now and make Walmart money card as American as it should be. My thoughts are just this even if you have great security there are those countries that are representing the Walmart Money Card, Green Dot Bank who hate us Americans. The point is I don't understand them and they surely don't understand me. I don't want to talk to them when I call. I feel tense inside me, I feel like I don't want to be on that phone call. I feel like I don't get any of my things answered properly because they are so directed at being this way, this way, no this way, no this way.
I Purchased a card and loaded money on it. The card was restricted and I was asked to upload a photo ID, However the link to upload the ID is broke and there is no way to speak to a person with the option given. My vacation was ruined. If they don't value you the paying customer with a way to get a live person, they should not get your money.
Will never use this card, or any type of Wal-Mart product again. Had this card for 3 years, and it was only due to the fact that I loaded thousands of dollars on there only to find out there was no way to transfer out to my bank account/saving account. Over the 3 year period I have experienced terrible customer service (no one in the United States), no way to actually truly get a $0 fee at the Wal-Mart ATM machine, and there is literally but 2 Wal-Mart ATM Machines in a given 50 mile radius. I was not able to ever transfer money or pay bills. Now that I am at a $0 balance, they are refusing to close my account, and in the meantime they are continually charging $5 month on my Zero balance. It has not been 3 months of a zero balance and I have paid $15 while trying to close this account. They want you to write snail mail letters, and have no online way to dispute issues. They do not dispute unrecognizable charges either. They stopped the dispute department a few months ago. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS CARD!
I have been dealing with green dot money card since September 4th. My brother was murdered and the person who did it transferred my brothers money from his account to their bank account. This company is interfering in the investigation. Need help ASAP
So I recently got a refund from my dental company because my insurance paid the whole thing for me. Walmart money card blocked my card for a refund I was entitled to and didn't even notify me they were doing so. I am in the process of buying a house and they are sending my funds back which is delaying the process because they didn't have the decency to just call me and confirm why I got the refund. Which I think it is stupid to block my card without notification and now I can't access my funds. They have me waiting so say 48 hours for the case to be resolved. Holding up my funds which is bad business. Yall need new procedures put in place where it doesn't block the use of people funds when money is already limited due to covid
Worst prepaid debit card customer service in the WORLD. These used to be nice cards until Green Dot Bank took over the servicing of them. Get anything but this!
I've had the Walmart Money Card for about two years now and so far I have no complaints. I especially like the feature of being able to lock the card to prevent unauthorized use.
I received one of these as a "gift card" at Christmas from work with a $10 balance. The sticker on the card instructed me to go online and register the card, so I did. I went on to check the balance just now and I have a $-10.00 balance because there is apparently a $5.00/month fee for this stupid thing? Not cool. I really hope they're not going to be coming after me for the $5.00/month fee now that the $10 balance is gone... what a scam!
After money has been deposited to your account it takes too long to receive it! Customer Service sucks! Every time I call I swear lm speaking to the same person! And that's after 30 minutes to an hour! Also will lock you out your account if you change your phone number!
I've had my card for several years. It's a good little card if ur only going to do regular day to day purchase and not big purchase. Long story short my husband and I are buying a house. Well anyone that has knows all the documentation that is needed. Walmart money card Customer service is the $#*!tiest service I've had in a really long time! The refused to send me simple statements sighting that they aren't authorized to do so.! So of course I talked to supervisor then to that supervisors manager thru corporate and guess what the lady from corporate said they could send me my requested docs in an EMAIL! But folks here's the kicker I waited the 2 days for said email! It NEVER showed! So on the phone again I go for over 1 1/2 hrs. Just to have to go thru the whole thing over again! And it doesn't matter if their line is recorded or not they 100% don't stand behind what they tell their customers! Done!
This card is terrible I used it for 5 years for my direct deposits. Just recently they blocked my card with $900 in it and will not release it to me and or tell me why it is blocked. Yoi can't get any answers from any one when you call and not only that the reps there barley speak english. I am still trying to get my money back its been a week and I still have no answers and I have 900 dollars sitting in an account that I can't touch and I'm broke. I would love some $#*!ing answers walmart money card

I finally noticed unfamiliar charges, and actually looked back over the previous months and noticed many many unfamilar charges and definitly my fault for not watching the charges more closely. Be aware that if you are out of town and report unfamilar charges on your walmart reloadable money card and all your money is on that card that you will be left stranded! You will be charged for a card replacement which you will never recieve! You will be locked out of ever being able to reach the call customer service call line which is *******098 because your current card was made inactive! You customers out there should know that that 1800 number will not let you access customer service when your existing cancelled fraud charge card number is typed in. Yes you will be able to log in to your account! But that is it. Good luck to anyone trying getting your money off that card!
Yes, I found someone to get me home. 3 weeks later there is still no card replacement in the mail! What do people do to get a hold of anyone at customer service WalmartMoneyCard people?! How does anyone ever get access to their own money after their card is cancelled because of fraud reports and your company never sends a new card? How many others out there have the same issues? Your customer service is no service at all.
I paid a bill of $292.68, have the conformation email from the company where it was approved. Realized my account had not been updated. Attempted to contact customer service (on day 4 now) asked to speak to a supervisor and was suppose to get a call back in 4hrs on 1/15 and here we are next day and no call back yet. If you want your money taken use them and you wont get it back.
They returned my stimulus because I needed a new card (which I had already ordered) so instead of just holding the payment until my card was activated so they could deposit it to my account they returned it. I sat here for two or three weeks waiting for money that was never coming and they never bothered to let me know that. My family suffered because of it! I just think it's really sad because you know... if it's Walmart's Money they want to know where every dime is but don't give anyone any notice when you're messing with your money. And to make it all worse they actually notified me that they had my payment so I had reason to be waiting I couldn't bother to come back and notify me that no WE sent it back.
So I ordered my new card 1.5 months ago still have yet to receive it. Then I go online to try and get on my account and it is no longer available. That being said I can't access the money I have on it can't get a new card and it is still taking out monthly this card is crap never again will I use this. I received one of these in the mail yesterday. I figured it was a scam. How did I know? I received a similar card from a different company and did research on them via the internet, just like I did for this Green Dot Wal-Mart card. The word "scam" popped up way too many times in my Google searches. Also, usually cards associated with banks come with pages and pages of fine print. This one did not. The accompanying letter only asks for personal information and lists a bunch of (baloney) benefits. All these scammers want is your personal info in order to bleed your government benefits/paychecks dry.
It's thoroughly disgusting how many "people" out there are ready to take advantage of others' desperation during this COVID pandemic. Hoping there is a special place in Hell for these slimeballs.
I have NEVER been so frustrated in my life. I've received direct deposit and can't reach anyone in customer service because their automated system disconnects on you because they are experiencing technical difficulties. However these same technical difficulties are stating it shouldn't impact your ability to use your card WHICH they are and I'm pissed! I will NEVER buy another one of these cards soon as I'm available to take my funds off!
