Everyone should be aware that Walmart allows 3rd party vendors to sell on their websites, and returning those items is a giant pain! I ordered several shelves in one order. They arrived at all different times. I setup one shelf and it was pure junk. I requested a return thru the app, but they would only pickup a couple of the shelves, others had to be returned at the store. Since the labeling was different on each shelf I could not tell which ones were which. So I brought them all to the store for them to sort out. It took three very confused workers to tell me I'd have to contact the 3rd party sellers…aka not Walmart. Each shelf came from a different 3rd party vendor. Upset I call the customer service number while still waiting at Walmart. 30 minutes on hold for her to tell me I have to take them back home and mail them to each 3rd party vendor and that it's my responsibility to contact them. Oh and the 3rd party vendors are in China, so basically they're drop shipping and refusing to take accountability for it.

My review is based on the last number of years. They have steadily dropped In their quality of customer service, prices, availability, delivery, employee morale, website functionality, and reputation. What gives, Walmart? It is so sad when a company makes all the cuts in the wrong areas to save a buck and ends up cutting their own throat. A once reputable company, Walmart is just a mess now, as well as being the butt of jokes on YouTube and social media. I am so fed up. So so fed up. I don't know if they're ever going to pick themselves up again, but it's time for me to move on.

Delivery service is awful!
June 19, 2023

I used to use a car delivery service for delivery items from walmart and switched because walmart blamed the mistakes on car delivery service. Well now I realize it was walmarts issue.

Last weekend I ordered my groceries and realized I forgot some items and it was too late to add to the order so I went to walmart to get them. While there I got a couple notices that 3 items were out of stock. So I figured I would go see. And wouldn't you know it all 3 Items were in stock right where they normally are. I was frustrated but gave the delivery person the benefit of the doubt that they could be new and couldn't find these items.

However, today I ordered 7 items in total. Not a hard order. But apparently it was. I get a notification that the order delivered and I looked at picture and knew immediately it was missing an item. A big item! A 12 pack of paper towels. So I try to call walmart and after 3 calls, 2 transfers, 1 hangup and a "whats the big deal its just 1 item"...finally got someone who could help.
I explained what was missing, but the representative couldnt understand how I knew the paper towels werent there by the picture. So I explained I went right outside to get them and it wasnt there, just like the picture.

After getting over the language barrier I was finally able to get a refund for my $14.00 for my "whats the big deal" missing item.

Its frustrating enough to try to call multiple numbers and endure transfers that get you nowhere, but when the final straw is that the person I am calling doesn't understand English, it gets very frustrating.

So not sure if its a training issue, or what but I hope they fix it. I just had hip surgery and planned on help to not carry groceries up 3 flights of stairs.

Popcor
June 18, 2023

Once a month we purchase a box of Walmart Great Value buttery popcorn (24 per box). This is the best popcorn ever except 4 bags out of the box do not pop properly, very disappointing.

This store is atrocious because Walmart has gone from awful to the greediest most heinous corporation ever. They treat ALL of their customers like shoplifters; from the excess of cameras to the hovering employees at self-checkout. I'm sorry, but if the employees are literally going to stand right behind me the whole time they may as well go back to their jobs as cashiers. If Walmart is so INSANELY worried about theft then they need to get rid of self-checkout and bring back cashiers. Period, full stop. This company is the worst and the one in Shawnee has the MOST hovering employees on the planet. Disgraceful.

My order keeps getting cancelled over and over. I call them and they say to wait 4 hours and reorder. I do that, it gets canceled. I call them again, same thing. It's been like this 5 times so far over 4 days.
On top of that they are not nice. Waste of time, get something from Amazon, even if that means paying few more bucks.

W+. Is really nice. You get 10¢ off a gallon of gas, paramount plus basic to stream, discounts and credits for certain purchases. If you go in stores you can use phone to scan your groceries as you go along. Walmart.com always makes.things right if there is ever an issue. They DONT take hours to get it resolved. You actually get items from Walmart.com with in 1-3 days. I will use Walmart instead of Amazon from now on.

Hello, I was harassed at Walmart in Parker, CO by employee Francis whom caused an humiliating scene in front of a few dozen people by screaming a storm of voilent vulgar words directly at me. This happened recently when Francis watched me check out at the self checkout right over my shoulder, and then harassed me for my receipt right after I finished checking out. I politely ignored Francis, but this is when he screamed a a storm of curses at me. This is the 4th offence where i was harassed like this, at this Walmart. This whole situation is unacceptable behavior for all Walmarts to not have policies in place for greeters to not harass customers. There is no policy where I am obligated to show proof of purchase, therefore Walmart is legally liable for harassment everytime they falsly acuse customers of theft by asking for proof of purchase at the door. This harassment causes uncomfortable emotional distress and makes me feel unwelcome at my public store, when in fact, it is the harassing false accusing criminals that are not welcome in society let a lone the store. If Walmart want to ask for receipts at the door they need to be doing so under a policy like Sam's club or Costco, until that policy is written, they have absolute no right harassing and false accusing paying customers such as myself, because it is illegal and Walmart should be held liable for their crimes. Also, Walmart has no right to discriminate against me and my future visits to the store, for abiding by the law and store policies and refusing to show receipts and be falsly accused and harassed, because discrimination is a crime as well, and they should be held liable for such "shadow bans" or remembering my face with hatred and resentment to make me feel unwelcome in my own Walmart.

You have to fight for your refund!
June 3, 2023

I ordered a bike in April. Bike was not shipped (according to FedEx) although WalMart said it was. WalMart warehouse re-shipped the bike even though I asked for a refund. Customer Service told me they cannot refund until I receive and return the bike or refuse delivery. I refused delivery (bought a bike elsewhere), bike was delivered back to warehouse May 2nd and AGAIN I asked for a refund. June 2nd I called about the refund and was told 10 more days. 30 day refund policy is a scam and a lie, WalMart will push that 30 days out as long as possible. They don't want to give you a refund until they have jerked you around and pissed you off. WalMart thinks it is too big to fail and they can treat customers like doo-doo. They have lost a customer. Heads up WalMart, your customer base is getting smaller.

Unethical sellout
May 31, 2023

Any store location you will find unhappy miserable overworked employees who are rude and angry, walking around like zombies. This is due to being overworked, underpaid, dead white monotone lighting, corporate pressure and demands. Corporate demands so much more from employees than they ever deserved. Unfair pay, tiny raises, yet endless corporate mumbo jumbo spew. Walmart is an unethical, cruel employer which centers themselves on revenue. They sold out to China long ago, they pulled an Amazon by marketplace bringing in tons of garbage Chinese companies selling trash, yet are the richest family in the world. But employees are among the unhappiest in the world, which says everything about corporate. Doesn't anyone know there are more ethical places to buy things from for reasonable prices? Why Walmart? It's an illusion! They are very clever and sly in their ways. I would like to encourage everyone to really think about this and run like hell from Walmart, forever. They are anti American, pro Chinese and do NOT care about their customers or employees. How obvious can it be!

Buy at Amazon
May 23, 2023

Buy on Amazon, at Walmart they are not responsible if you have problems with the suppliers, I'm in a nightmare and a loss of almost $1000, products came broken and malfunctioning (A chair with control from the company Meritilife and a bed from Mixoy, the bed came broken and the chair malfunctioned. None of the stores were responsible, I've been trying since when the products arrived to get my money back or get another product and they don't solve it, Walmart says I should have read the return policies and companies bully you to give the 3 month deadline for exchange, taking time to answer emails and saying they didn't receive the photos by email... Don't spend your money buying online at walmart, big and expensive things they don't solve, spend your money in stores with best quality of products and trusted online sites, never had problems with amazon

We needed the Moth Prevention, as we were leaving for home for a while. Waited for a 2+ weeks. When called Walmart yesterday, they say it was not shipped by the 3rd party. Walmart said it will issue a refund, but we wasted a good 18 days. Not dependable!

I bought a TV from Walmart back in October. When I got it home because it started messing up. I bought the warranty for the TV. I called the warranty place and they said my warranty was no good because they sold me a used tv! I bought the tv Oct 1 they said someone bought the same tv in Sep on the 17 and brought it back sep 20! Walmart is not supposed to sell TV's that's been brought back! I went through hell getting somebody to fix this problem! My understanding that store is under new management! I went back up there to replace the TV and they made me pay 98 extra dollars same size and everything! When I bought the TV, it was on special back in October!
I don't see how they charge me any extra money when it was their fault they sold me a used tv! They didn't make nothing right just charged me more money! Since it was walmarts fault for selling me a used tv they should've probably did an even trade but they charged me more money. By this point they should have gave me the tv for free and my money back because this is so wrong! I feel some type away about this because it wasn't my fault. It was Walmarts fault!

I don't think I would ever buy into the new delivery option, every time I order from Wal-mart there is always at least 1 item they can't deliver on. It's pretty frustrating! There are way too many things from China that you have to pay delivery for. Also, the last item I tried to purchase was a garden kneeler. I purchased it back in February, I just got the notice on May 5th that they can't deliver on the product. I will still go to the store to purchase items, but never on line again! They just can't compete with Amazon. Good try though.

No cashiers
May 3, 2023

Their are no cashiers in any Walmart that I have attended in the past 3 months in 3 different states "WHY". Walmart is the biggest employer in the US but it is not hiring cashiers this should be disturbing to all of you. Cashiers improve the shopping experience if the are one of the leaders in the US. Don't you think the other corporations will follow. PEOPLE are more important then your bottom line.
