Decided to try the site. Ordered a Christmas gift for my 3 year old that he has asked Santa for. Got a great price. However the shipping said 10 days. As a spoiled Amazon prime member I was disappointed but ordered anyway. 13 days later and no package. Looked into it and was delivered to KY 3 days ago. My shipping address is WI. Contacted site to ask. Their Response was to issue immediate refund. Great, but I really needed the toy. Would have preferred they send another with faster shipping, but they never even asked. Ordered at Target instead. Never again.
I always have fun going to walmart. You can meet some characters there haha. The service isn't the best one but you know their prices are good so it's worth it.
I love shopping at Wal-Mart and I usually don't have any problems when I do. However, I chose to shop online and was severely disappointed. I live in a different state than my nephew who was turning 3 on his birthday, 12/7. I placed an order online for 2 toys. The delivery dates given were 12/7 and 12/8. I was ok with that because I wanted him to receive at least one gift from me on his birthday. Walmart didn't deliver! He received one gift on the NIGHT of 12/8 and I just received an email that the other would not deliver until 12/15! This is totally unacceptable! Had I known, I would have bought and mailed it to him myself! I will never order online from them again. Don't list that you will deliver on a specific date and NOT fulfill that obligation! Poor Service!
My grandson wanted a Paw Petrol Airplane and after checking several places, it was on sale at Walmart.com. It said available (very limited numbers) at my local store & I could pick it up that day. We bought it and paid for it. The confirming e-mail said I had to wait for the "pick-up" notification before it was ready. Almost 4 hours later we still did not have it so we decided to go to the store anyway. The pick-up counter was empty - 3 people working there, no other customers waiting. They told us it wasn't our turn yet. We explained that the web site said only a few left and we were very concerned that by the time they got to our order, they would be gone. They could not have cared less and they told us that the order was NOT a guarantee that it would be available. We said we would look on the floor and if one was there we would bring it to them for check out web. Still - NO. They were uncaring and rude. We found a different assistant manager who helped us find one (there were only 2 left), told us how to get a prince match at the register and we checked out (with a super nice cashier who also helped us with the price match). When we got home, we went on line to cancel the order and still, 7 hours later, we had not received the OK to pick it up. This was the 2nd time in 3 years we tried to use Walmart.com with store pick-up and both times it was a disaster.
I've purchased AMD CPU for my computer. Seller claims it was shipped and delivered. I did not receive the item but since it was shipped uninsured I cannot even file a claim with USPS to get money back. Walmart points the finger at re-seller. Re-seller tells me to file the police report. I cannot even describe the shipped package neither to USPS nor police to start the claim since I never got it.
Don't risk it. Buy from someone who cares about the customers.
The day after Thanksgiving, I needed a phone card for my TracFone and I needed it fast because I had no minutes left and my service date was expiring. So I took the chance on ordering a phone card online that they would provide to me through my email. Since it was the day after Thanksgiving, I thought I probably wouldn't get the email until several hours later or even worse the next day or later but I was pleasantly surprised. Right after I placed the order, I had their email within 10-15 minutes. Walmart was ready and prepared the day after Thanksgiving - thank you, Walmart, outstanding job!
What can I say? It's Walmart! I love that I don't have to stand on line for ever anymore. I shop online and pick it up at the store! No muss, no fuss!
I ordered a photos blanket off Walmart.com and got someone elses blanket, I got my money back and was told to just throw away this blanket. I dont really want to do that, I would like to try to find its owner. I know its a long shot but I seen a review from a Janet G on here who also said she received the wrong blanket. It wont let me send her a message or reply to her so if you see this Janet please email me and maybe we have each others blanket. *******@gmail.com
I placed an order during the black friday sale, cancelled it within 15 minutes and placed a second order. I was told delivery was after Dec 1st. I received notification to pick it on the 3rd, went to the store, got a manager's help, discovered it was a cheaper item they shipped me, returned to the store 15 minutes later, was told it would be put back in the system, called customer service, again was told not to worry a refund was in the process and the second item was cancelled and yet I get a text from my credit card saying I had another charge for the cancelled/refunded item. Incredible! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and I have been charged twice with no item in hand. I hope tomorrow I will find someone who is good at their job to give me my refunds and I will never buy from them ever again through walmart.com.

I went to Walmart on thanksgiving night with my mom and aunts and it was the first time I had been there in over a year. I get that it is stressful for managers but there was a teen working and he was helped a lost like 5-6 y/o girl find her mom and got in trouble for not helping move a couple boxes of things on to the shelves. So not only are they sometimes rude to costumers they can be rude to employees. Also the deals they said they had, they didn't. Every thing was still full price or less of a sale then was said in the sale papers. I also have an app called "flipp" (great app btw), and it has the sale papers for every store on it and I could show it to a worker and show them the physical paper and they still said it would be full price even if the paper said it wasn't. But my mom found some stuff for Christmas presents so I mean it still worked out for some people
THE OLD, RETURENED, MERCHANDISE IS PUT BACK ON THE SHELVES FOR RESALE OPENED OR NOT. THEY TREAT THE POOR EMPLOYEES LIKE DIRT, WITH NO RESPECT WHATSO EVER. MANAGEMENT... WELL THEY ALL HAVE VERY BROWN NOSES, AND COULD NOT CRAWL UP ANY HIGHER.IF I WAS OFFERED FREE MERCHANDISE FROM THEM MY RESPONSE WOULD BE GO DUMP IT OFF ON THE NASTY STREETS OF DETROIT... This is a review of four items I have ordered over the past year. Most times, they have come as ordered and in the approximate time frame as promised. When there is a problem, however, I was stuck dealing with a 3rd party. One was apparently from China and the texted English was broken. The solution was for a 10% refund on the item due to excess shipping costs for both parties. Amazon has the returns worked out much better. If Amazon has the item I want, I will order there. Walmart on line I will reserve only for those items that Amazon does not have.
Personally, I hope Walmart can improve as it seems hazardous to have only one large online ordering service. I wish Walmart the best in this.

Walmart is in the dark ages of the last century with regard to its third-party-vendors and any returns -- buyer beware, for sure! Unlike the gold standard, Amazon, you cannot go onto the Walmart site and generate a return label, slap it on the box, ship it back via UPS, and get instant credit to your credit card when UPS registers the box. Unbelievably, stupid Walmart makes you CALL the third party vendor directly, yourself, and handle it all, yourself -- you are decidedly "cut loose" by this crappy "so long, sucker" Walmart website and its third-party returns handling. Want to return it to a Walmart store? Fuggeddaboudit. They point-blank refuse. Steer clear and go to Amazon instead! And they wonder why Amazon is eating their lunch! Duh!
Walmart treats its workers, its vendors, and it customers with equal disdain. Their political view and their lack of philanthropy compared to their immense wealth is deplorable.
Some of the merchandise is fine - at some stores, but the quality varies depending on the economics of the area in which the store is placed.
