Walmart is Great Deal
January 18, 2018

Walmart does have just about the lowest prices online! One of the things I love most about Walmart is the top-notch selection of unique professional vendors, you honestly get more selection from their online stores than their bricks and mortar. Walmart stays true to traditon with low and matching comparable prices, and the delivery is very quick. I have always gotten my order exactly has promised, and sometimes before I expect it! Its a great website with all the bells and whistles. It offers a tried and true shopping experience.

I am updating my Review to indicate that I discovered that when you buy the identical phone card with target.com using your red card, you save 5% off face value. I now get a $35 card for $33.25. Walmart can't match this.

Date of experience: January 14, 2018

Every month I purchase my prepaid virgin mobile top-up card from Walmart.com because, unlike brick and mortar retailers, there is no service fee or taxes added to the face value of the card. This is the only place I know of that will charge $25 for a $25 top up card.

Delivery of the card is via email. Usually I receive the card within about 2 hours.

Shopping online
January 14, 2018

Never thought I would write a totally positive review about a Walmart service, but here it is. I received an email inviting me to shop at Walmart on line and pick up at the store. The ordering process was easy and I did it from home. As I headed to pick it up I thought "I will have to park in the lot and go to customer service to pick it up" Not so. I pulled in and here are 10 spaces with orange signs for pick up. Pulled in, called the number and they said they would be out with my order in 5 minutes, In less than 5 they were out and loaded my truck. They had to sub 3 items and they upgraded them and charged me the price of what I ordered, I could not have been more satisfied.

Epic On-line fail!
January 12, 2018

Ordered a TVover two weeks ago for a bunch of money. They wanted payment in the store in advance so I did that. The TV was promised on Friday Jan 5 and it showed on tracking that it was in the area on the Thursday before. On Friday afternoon I contacted the store... no help at all. On Monday I called the 1800 number and was told I would be given a $20 credit and to give it two business days. After four business days I went to the store and was given the run around about a refund for over an hour. After an hour a manager finally gave me a credit which has not posted yet! Stay clear of Walmart for large purchases on-line... I didnt get any follow up calls or anything, and if I hadnt demanded a refund I would still be waiting for the TV which they said had been stolen. This is horrible customer service!

I feel that it is very confusing for most people shopping on Walmart.com to find out that they use third party sellers which means you can not return items to their store but you have to work with their third party sellers online. I have dealt with so many dishonest sellers on Walmart.com and Walmart rarely steps in! Its is a horrible place to do shopping.

**Be warned that Walmart.com items may or may not be able to be returned at the Walmart store. Its hard to find return policies for third party sellers. Reaching someone takes forever. I have dealt with lots of sellers who ship wrong or fake items. The return process is really horrible and time consuming.

They wont tell you this of course but I know for sure that their payment system was either hacked or that they rolled over their customer data to a new system and the change over went wrong. I know this because a couple of years back when I logged into my account I had the credit card info of several people available on my account. So basically I could have purchased anything I wanted with other peoples credit cards. But I did not do that. I did call walmart.com and they had NO idea what I was talking about so I called the people one by one (because the phone numbers and everything were on my account) and told them that their cc info was on MY account and that they should call their providers and cancel them. For like a year or so before all this happened my bank card had been used several times in unauthorized charges from walmart.com for different things. I realized later, once I saw that other peoples cc info was on my account, that something had happened within their payment system and this probably happened to millions of people. So now what they do is they just cancel most orders right after they are placed so that people have to call in to find out what is going on and then the call is routed out of the country to a call center that they have set up just to handle this problem. The people on the other end simply verify your address etc... they send a verification or authorization message regarding the order back to the fulfillment centers and the customer has to go online and place the order again within 24 hours. After this it usually will go through. If it weren't for the fact that the ONE ITEM I buy from them is only available through their online ordering and I cannot find it anywhere else on the planet, I would not be buying from them at all.

I order several different products from Walmart.com and they came in 2 different shipments. First shipment was fine except one of the Keurig reusable filter boxes was empty... yes got the box but no reusable filter. I let that go and moved on, but the next shipment never came. I tracked the package and it said it was delivered. However upon looking it had been delivered to a residence in a whole other state. I called Walmart.com and they simply referred me to the 3rd party seller. They gave me a number that went to a voicemail... I left a message it was never returned. I sent an email to the email address the Walmart associate provided an it was returned to me as undeliverable... it was a fake email. Thanks Walmart for screwing me over. I never received a product or a refund. I thought by purchasing from Walmart.com any issues would be handled by Walmart. I trusted Walmart... not anymore. Anytime I have a issue with a purchase from Amazon they take care of it promptly. No matter who the seller is... they back their products. Not only that but they use people who can speak fluent English and can be understood when you speak with them on the phone. No need to use Walmart.com Amazon can just have my business, we even decided to go with the prime membership to have the 2day shipping.

Worst experience
January 7, 2018

I bought my grandson a tablet from walmart.com it was on sale sold online only, it worked for a week, I called walmart and the store manager told me that I could get the money put on a gift card so I wouldn't have to wait for it to be put back on my card, and rebuy it on walmart.com. The item had gone up 102.00 the kind manager told me I would still get it off the same price. I went to customer service and got the gift card no issues at store, went to walmart.com the lady there understood what I was wanting to do but didn't know how to handle it, she called help desk. They said I would have to pay full price and then after the order was placed I would be refunded the difference. I asked to talk to lady at help desk, I told her I was going to reorder the tablet and pay with the gift card and she told me to quit talking and listen to what she was saying. This was the worst customer service ever. I will NEVER use walmart.com again. I will tell others this exoerience in hopes word gets to walmart.com. The customer comes first. At least it did when I worked in customer service. Why should I pay 102. Plus tax over what I paid and wait 5 to 7 days for the adjustment, if I would really get it.

I have shopped at Walmart since it's existence, and have most times, found my shopping experience to be very satisfactory, both at the store, and online. I loved the fact that if they sent the wrong thing or something went wrong, you could easily take it back to the store hassle free. I guess I should have paid better attention when I shopped on Walmart.com this year, because I was not aware of the new marketplace thing that they had going. I ordered a lot online this year, and by luck most were fine, but one of my purchases, they sent something totally different than what I ordered. That's when I found out that you can't return to Walmart anymore if it was from what they call the Marketplace. The company that I got it from was called "Awesome Center Inc". Even though, the return address on the package that I received had a totally different company name on it, I attempted to contact them. They never responded in any way to my issue. After 2 weeks, I finally contacted Walmart customer care center to try to get some answers. They said that they would contact the company within 24hrs, I should receive a response from them, which the company Awesome Center did respond in that time. Their idea of solving the problem was for me to keep the wrong item that they sent me, and that they would refund me 20% of my money. Is this a joke? First I have no use for the wrong item, and for them to only offer to send me a small portion of my money back is crazy. They keep sending me more offers to get just a portion of my money back. This company, it seems is nothing short of a fly by night substandard company, and you should avoid dealing with them at all, as their customer service is non existent. I am still emailing back and forth trying to get my money back from them, so I don't know how this will ultimately turn out. I will contact Walmart customer care center again if I get no satisfaction, and hopefully they can pressure this scam company to make things right, after all, they did get the company to finally contact me. I just wanted to write this up to hopefully warn anyone else using this company to beware. Perhaps I will save someone the headaches that I've endured from this experience.

I placed an order on December 23,2017 that was to arrive no later than January 5,2018. On January 6th, I called to see why I hadn't received it. After searching for a phone number to speak to someone, I just dialed 800-Walmart and actually got through. The rep. Was very difficult to understand and could not help me. I was informed that it was a 3rd party seller and I would have to contact them, even though I purchased the laptop from Walmart.com. I was finally connected to a corporate rep. That did absolutely nothing to help me. I was offered a $50 credit towards another laptop that cost more than $200 more ONLY after I said I wanted to cancel. I will never use Walmart.com again! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Its cool to go in store and buy items, but its nice to be able to order it online as well. You even have the option of having it shipped to you or to pick it up in store yourself. Never had a problem shopping online with walmart.

This boy of mine ordered a keyboard for his laptop from walmart.com
I typed the numbers and all that hor$#*! in for him, so i know everything was right.
He gets the keyboard - damned thing is NOTHING like the one that came outta the laptop.
Part numbers aint even close.
Is all you dumbasses on dope?

Aight - now - been over a freakin WEEK that i sent an email - called the outfit the keyboard came from, and guess what?

No calls back, not even an email.

So i send the freaks another email - ask very nicely why someone can't call so we can get this sent back and all that sh-crap.

Still nothin - and i know from experience you can't just 'send' it back because if ya do, they'll balk, boohoo and cry because it doesn't have a return number - "it's just too hawerd".

I'd love to smack em, but since i can't, i can tell what they've done.

WALMART.COM - STEP THE HELL UP AND QUIT DEALING WITH THESE FLY-BY-NIGHT OUTFITS.
Morons...

Rip off
December 30, 2017

Order multiple times from here and half of the items they sent were the wrong items. Trying to get refunds is not easy. I did not bother to pick up the second item from the store pickup since the first item was wrong and it was frustrating. I received an email saying I picked it up when I clearly did not. So you can add employee theft to their issues too. There is nothing they can do for you if it states that it has been picked up other than contact your credit card company for fraud.

No Buyer Protection
December 30, 2017

A big problem with buying on Walmart.com is that they don't offer Buyer Protection. Once you make your purchase from a 3rd party and something doesn't work out, you're on your own. I personally had to jump through a few hoops trying to contact the seller. The seller won't return my emails and hung up on me each time I tried to call their 800 number. The seller's return policy that I did read before making my purchase, stated that I could return for any reason, however I was running into the brick wall or so it felt. Next time will try to pay by Paypal. A lesson learned.

Seems that Walmart is trying to compete with Amazon and is offering items for sale. That are not sold by Walmart, but by their "third parties". Aka "Marketplace". I ordered and item almost 10 days ago. Spent extra on "EXPRESS" delivery to guarantee a delivery date. The item never showed up, only to find out it was delivered, at my cost, to an entirely different state, across the country! After hours of chatting, calling, and trying to resolve the problem. Walmart could only offer a refund and said they would investigate. I think i am even more upset that Walmart, as well as in my own research, had a contact phone number which was non-working. I even tried to research the company ( in NC) and they don't even exist! I blame WALMART for deceiving their customers, that they are first involved with with their third party retailers, and NOT their own stores, who are not researched nor reputable, Buyers Beware! Don't deal with Walmart on-line. They can't come close to the efficiency of Amazon..
