The products sold by Walmart are often handled by retailers like Cymax. Walmart does not back up your purchase and these places are at best poor and seem to have fraudulent business practices. Walmart does not back up the sales. They are only after their profit percentage, not much different than Amazon. But where Amazon has policies to protect their customers, Walmart has nothing in place. Poor job on Walmarts part and it will impact their business.

Wal-Mart is going down the tubes. They really don't care about their customers, especially their handicapped ones. Since the first of the year, I've been to their store in Ammon, ID over a dozen times and now it's been six times I couldn't find a handicapped parking place, nor did they have a motorized shopping cart available. I had to park further away than normal every time, and when I got into the lobby of the store no electric cart. This last time I asked the store customer greeter Jim, a tall, thin and old guy, five times to get the manager for me. He simply stared ahead at the doors and totally ignored me. The sixth time, I asked him in a threatening tone to call the manager, he finally did. When the manager Justin finally arrived, I explained things to him and that it's the sixth time they've had no electric cart available. Of course he said he was sorry and got on his radio and checked around if there were any in the lot, etc. He said they have eight, and two were in for repairs', so 25% of his fleet was down and out for a week I found. I asked him to check on those and he disappeared to never return. I just left wasting a half hour.
With all the wounded warriors returning and being released from hospitals, they should realize there are going to be more people than ever requiring those facilities. The attitude of the store greeters, if you want to call him that, the manager and Wal-Mart employees overall is poor and isn't improving, and that all reflects back on management. Saying sorry just doesn't cut it anymore. They should just act and accomplish something. I just don't shop there anymore, and no handicapped person should until they correct things.

I ordered a DVR from them 2 years ago. It was delivered and works fine. No drama. During the distressingly brief 2014 rainy season in California I ordered a sump pump. That one went astray and they replaced it. I just ordered some non-prescription Ocuvite vitamins with lutein. The price was very good and the items arrived quickly. Three years ago I bought a cheap Timex watch for $30 in the store. I just bought a replacement for $31.49 on the website. Inflation seems to be in check with this pricing. It's amazing, but I've never had a bad experience with Walmart.com whereas some much larger and more well-known merchandise websites seem not to be able to get their websites working as well. Shipping cost is not a profit center for them and the $50 to qualify for free shipping isn't bad at all. Yes, I'm surprised, too. Still can't face the idea of going to a Walmart in person, but that's just my problem with crowds.

A lot of bad comments make it to the forefront, but seldom do people give credit where it is due. McHenry Modesto Walmart employees in 3 different departments who have gone out of their way to help me find something, check to see that an item is re-ordered, check supplies or replenish their stock on the shelves. Cashiers have been helpful and assisted in filling my basket if I was a bit slow.The shelves are looking neat, the selection is good, Walmart brands compete with name brands on ingredients, the prices are just about the best, at least in the packaged goods. Not extremely good in produce but edible, same with meats. These could improve, Overall, well done.

I've often wondered how the Walton family came up with the idea for Walmart. Do you think they were all sitting around trying to come up with legal ways to screw the American public? One suggested buying chemical laden products of all kinds from Asia. Another made a deal with Con Agra and processed food suppliers to help poison the public with low-quality, non-nutritious processed food? Why not, helps to keep the population numbers down, right?

Walmart is the biggest abuser of the environment of all. Why? They make it possible on a grand scale for countries with huge populations and few health regulations to mass produce inventory of all kinds to sell to lower income America. Most of this stuff will not last and need to be replaced frequently which is a guarantee the landfills will overflow with things that will break down within 100 years... maybe. As it breaks down the air will absorb fumes from all manners of poisons.

Meanwhile the Waltons will kick back in luxury and throw a few dollars at a few charities, loudly proclaiming to support the latest trendy cause. There may be a special place in hell for those who have fed their greed at the expense of humanity's right to a healthy life. I hope so.
