Wal-Mart is ok

They have a thing of multiple packaging which costs mean more money. For instance order five items and they put one by itself and send the other four. Doesn't make sense and it makes me very mad. Otherwise their ok.

Missing items

I had missing items instead of reordering item i allteady paid for i was sent duplicates of items i allready had. My advice dont order any items claiming yo put your name of choice on them. I ordered 3 items that were supposed to have my daughters name on them a hoodie, pjs and a birthday t shirt never received them.

Only problem i have had is finding store availability ands sizes online. You would think all sizes available online or they could backorder which is not an opton.

I live in a very rural area. Many items that one might need are just not available here. Going online to the Walmart website has made it much easier to locate and buy many of these items. If a new item from Walmart is defective. It is a simple matter for me to drive about sixty miles to the nearest Walmart store to return it for credit.

When comparing prices with other sources Walmart is usually at a lower price. There has never been a problem with an order or with my credit card that I use to order with from this company. Walmart is so big that it is rather amazing that there are not more problems.

Watch out, Anazon, Walmart is coming! Have ordered many items from walmart.com, only had ONE issue, and it was just a fluke. Great products, great prices, decent shipping, would recommend.

I'm one of those that signed up for the new Shipping Pass - free unlimited shipping for $50 for 1 year. My local Wal-Mart is always out of stock on items so I thought I'd just place my orders online and have better luck. Well, not necessarily. First of all their website is absolutely horrible and riddled with constant freeze-ups. Items you order that were designated as being 'In Stock" will be cancelled by Wal-Mart if not available. HUH? I thought that is what 'In Stock" meant. This is an indication that Wal-Mart has poor control over accurate inventory records. Wal-Mart distribution centers are scattered all over so most often you will get your order one item at a time, generally over the span of 1 week so don't order an item expecting to have it in 2 days. While I will continue to order items on line from Wal-Mart they have a long, long, long way to go to be able to compete with Amazon's Prime Membership and 2 day shipping. I've never had an item cancelled by Amazon after being told it was "In Stock" and I've been a Prime Member with them for 6 years now.

All the appliances I’ve bought at Walmart in the last six years or so have met my expectations as far as quality and price. Also, the goods arrived in perfect condiction at the expected date. A plus: Walmart website has never let me down.

Online Shopping

I find it very easy to order essentials from Walmart.com. The shipping is free if you spend $35. I have ordered cleaning supplies, paper goods, coffee, over the counter meds, clothes, and toiletries. Walmart ships each item as soon as it is available, rather than waiting until all items are ready. I usually get everything within a week. It saves me a trip to the store! As long as they continue to offer free shipping with a reasonable order, I will keep ordering.

I still trust walmart

I recently purchased a refurnished laptop in walmart because of the price to save some money. It has warranty eventhough it was used/refurnished, shipping time was ok, (even though it was free), laptop looked in good condition. However, at the time i tried to use it, it was not working properly. There was a 1800 help line, which i called but ht ewait time was over 15 mins! So i decided to take it back to walmart for a refund. I did and there was no problem. There, i will buy again from walmart online because they really back up warranties!

I ordered a case of facial tissue, and the confoirmation I received from Walmart.com agreed. When I got the tissues arrived, there was only ONE box of tissues, not a case, and it had come from Tiger Direct. The two stores each blamed each other, and it was only after I made a nuisance of myself on Twitter that someone mailed me a refund.

Since then, I've been VERY careful to make sure I'm dealing with Walmart. "Ship-to-site" sounds wonderful, but I end up spending 2-4 hours trying to pick up merchandise when I do that. From now on, they can ship it to me.

Some of their prices are MUCH lower on the site and some are much HIGHER. I used to love Walmart when Sam was alive, but I'm no longer very happy with them.

Walmart Website Ordering

Browsing for merchanduse on Wal-Mart's website is really convenient. I get their sales and clearances via email. Picking up my order at the store pick-up with an associates help is fast and easy. Shipping is free when you have your order sent to the store, which saves me money. When returning an item, customer service in the store takes care of you with no problem. I enjoy searching for merchandise at home with ease. It is shopping made easy.

Purchased an umbrella 9' worked for a bit, then the string broke, I called the manufacturer told them what happened, they asked me to send them a picture of the defect by email, not even an hour later the company refunded me 100%.
I would definitely purchase from them again.
Good old customers service.

Their loss prevention people constantly follow me around the store because I have a tote for a purse. They do this every time thinking I don't notice them. It is angers me every time I am there to the point where one day I will just boycott Walmart and never shop there again. They are obvious. The store manager at the west Madison store in Madison, WI was not helpful. I requested something and needed it by a certain date and told them days prior so they would have plenty of time to work on the request. They dropped the ball about an hour before an important appointment where I needed this information and they said they didn't have it done.

Customer svc is great. In person, I RARELY step foot inside walmart, I prefer target, but fi r online shopping, Wal-Mart has target beat by a long shot!
