I recently ordered a NordicTrack treadmill T series 6.5 Si model from Walmart which is what was advertised on the Walmart site. It was a great price. I received the older model (T series 6.5 S) which is not what I wanted and far cheaper if you ordered that older model from Amazon. I called Walmart and their response was that I had to contact the 3rd party seller and handle the problem myself. I noted that this was fraud on their part as they were advertising one product at a great price but delivering a lesser model. Their response was that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for what is advertised by a 3rd party seller.

What a headache!

This s*it company constantly delays and cancels my orders. When I contact them, their customer service is all stupid Indians that can't speak English! Word of advice: do not shop this store if you want to deal with non-speaking morons.

I Love Walmart.com!

Because it's easy and they provide free shipping on orders over $50, I visit their store. If you're looking for something specific, you should check their website frequently because they also give bargains every day!

Customer Service for Walmart online has Died.

After 5 years of buying online twice a month, their once excellet CS fell apart. I called today after receiving the wrong product after waiting 2 weeks. Rep said I'd get a refund AFTER I shipped the incorrect product back. I was leaving town for work the next day, I felt it was their responsiblity to request or pick up the wrong product, not my error and I already waited 2 weeks. The lesson learned here is maybe not by from third party sellers and stick with walmart only. First rep put me on hold for 20 minutes, I finally hung up. At least he called me back. Then he transferred me to a supervisor who put me on hold and never came back. I foolishly waited on hold for another 52 minutes listening to music and I'm wondering if he did this on purpose. Disappointed.

Do not get Walmart Plus

Walmart plus promised not to charge a $35 minimum to their customers for delivery for paying a subscription (Walmart plus), but they changed their terms, so they now charge you a $35 minimum.

As an example, the first few months I ordered $30 in total for items.
My subscription is of 6 months and into about 2-3 months Walmart changed their terms.

They are now charging a $35 minimum. You can't cancel your subscription either btw.

They also charge you $2-3+ taxes and also an extra dollar to hold your things.
They also give you the option to tip the driver, so...

$30 your shopping items
+ $6.99 minimum fee
+$3 taxes
+ $1holding your items
+guilt tripping you tipping driver $4-$7.

Around $44 in total. So you'll be paying almost $15 above for your purchase, including what you paid for as a 6 month, or yearly subscription.

DO NOT GET WALMART PLUS THEY CHANGE THEIR TERMS AS THEY PLEASE.
If you are, make sure to ask a representative any questions or concerns before getting it.

Personally, I wouldn't risk it though.

Walmart it appears has taken advantage of Inflation prices by Stocking more expensive Name brands vs. their less expensive Great Value. My neighbor signed up for Home Delivery with Walmart and almost ALWAYS gets the Great Value items she orders. But when I go to shop same Store approx. 80% of the time the Great Value is NOT STOCKED ON SHELF! My neighbor gets her Great Value items from Home Delivery so again it appears Walmart is conditioning customers to signup for Home Delivery vs. shopping in person! Further, did you realize that Walmart allegedly did Not install all of their Self Checkout stands UNTIL Republicans passed the $2 TRILLION Wealthy Tax Cut, Walmarts cut was in the Hundreds of Millions of dollars so apparently they used Tax Payer money to Pay for their expensive Self Check out units so they can get by with fewer employees! ALWAYS ASK EMPLOYEES TO CHECK ON GREAT VALUE ITEMS AND SHOP MORE LOCALLY AS LOCAL STORES TRY TO COMPETE AGAINST WALMART.

Moving on

My review is based on the last number of years, not Walmart's performance during or after Covid. They have steadily dropped In their quality of customer service, prices, availability, delivery, employee morale, website functionality, and reputation. What gives, Walmart? It is so sad when a company makes all the cuts in the wrong areas to save a buck and ends up cutting their own throat. A once reputable company, Walmart is just a mess now, as well as being the butt of jokes on YouTube and social media. I am so fed up. So so fed up. I don't know if they're ever going to pick themselves up again, but it's time for me to move on.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! YOU WON'T RECEIVE IT

On Feb 8th 2023, I placed a single item online order. On Feb 10th it was delivered to a different address than mine… I called costumer service, the lady identifies me with my name, my order number, my shipping address and my billing address. However, weirdly, my billing address doesn't match the info I gave her. We keep talking and we figure out that my billing address is set to an old place I used to live at. The lady tells me not to worry, sometimes the order status shows as delivered but it's in fact on the way. She tells me to wait 24 hours and if still not delivered, to call again the next day.

The next day, no box on my property, I call again… I'm being informed that my package was delivered to my old address… why? A supervisor tells me it is the address I provided, there is nothing he can do, if I want my shipment, I'll have to go knock on some guy's door to hopefully pick it up…

Many things indicate that this is a scam.
-I provided my current address not my old one… I can't even remember my old address. My old address must come from an order I past 3 years ago back when I was living there.
-On Feb 10th the lady confirms the right shipping address, but on Feb 11th a manager tells me they do not have this address on file… it disappeared?cover up?
-The manager tells me I logged into my Walmart account to pass an other, which I did not, I didn't even know I had an account… Lies don't add up?

I paid for a product I never received. Walmart refuses to reimburse me, nor to ship what I paid for at the right address. Walmart does not have a photo proof of the delivery. If Walmart is having problems with their website, I do not see how I should eat the cost of that. Why would my shipping address disappear from their file?

It seems to me like they never delivered anything at all, but they try to make it look like they did or actually delivered it but won't admit their website is at fault. Problems happen, it's the cost of doing business.

It was the worst experience I've ever had. Firstly, my purchase had arrived damaged. Then YOU must wait to set up the refund process online. But wait... There's more of a delay. I had to contact the seller. The package tracking wasn't showing delivered when in fact it was! So, depending on the return process you might decide to use, a return to a physical Walmart store, or like having someone like FedEx picking it up which then adds another layer of REFUND delays. Either process is NOT convenient at all. Trust me. Going to a Walmart store, you don't get any refund. Especially when a third party is selling the purchase you just made. Walmart store puts the shipping label on it and then finally sends it out. You wait some more after 3rd party receives damaged good(s). They still don't process the refund as told in the policy when they receive it. You'll wait some more days. I even contacted them and showed them their own Walmart agreement in returns/refund policies! Unless you're patient on stupidity here, I wouldn't do this kind of purchase again through Walmart.com. Especially a 3rd party. It's too complicated and you must stay onto these people to get your money back. Probably the excuse is a "staffing shortage", of course.

Going elsewhere

Sadly Walmart is no longer my go to store. Service at Walmart seems to have dropped drastically in the past and I am really sorry to have to post my opinions as negative but this is what they get. I can never find an associate to help find things like in the past and when I finally end up at checkout the lines are so long as everyone is having to check themselves out not and many shoppers are aggravated when trying to scan but have to wait for an associate to show up and help with their scanning process as some items will not scan or are coming up as wrong prices. So for me as my time is valuable shopping here is not in my future anymore.

I make custom shirt among other vinyl projects. Bought a 150.00 heat press got home and a sprocket was in the box instead of the press. Called no answer, closed. 0600 open I'm there, sorry for your luck. Walmart, a conglomerate corporation, me barely feeding my family besides the lost money from not having necessary supplies. Does it become standard practice to open all boxes prior to purchase? This product wasn't for a hobby but a living, I wasn't even questioned just told too bad. I didn't think to take pictures too shocked, I bought it at a retail store not s street corner.

If you have the choice to shop online Walmart or Amazon, it is hands down Amazon. I had trouble with Amazon where a Christmas item was not delivered. Lost somewhere during transit. UPS was rude, Amazon was wonderful. They immediately refunded my money as the item was then sold out.
Walmart was supposed to deliver a gift from a firend to me. I missed the delivery so I called the 800 number. Besides not being able to understand a word they were saying they kept telling me a different story and instructions of which none of it worked. I went directly to the store and there they were even more stupid and rude. Now i just want to cancel the order to make it simple but no you can't cancel the order. So, then I said I would just pick it up now, but no as the driver kept it from last night. She said she had to do some stuff in the store then she would look into filling the order again...um no. I'm not spending all day waiting for you. Sad that my friend tried to do a nice thing and all I got was pissed off. Who knows if I will ever see that order or if they just steal the money from my friend. I will shop elsewhere from now on.

Shaver Rd. Portage, MI. This department is AWESOME with Jeff and James having great personalities and willingness to alway help and answer questions. They are positive and not afraid to ask how you're doing too. I've come to appreciate these two guys as it seems I'm always in that department getting photos made and getting items. James and Jeff, you are always sweet and smiling! Thanks for making my experience in that department a nice one!
