Walmart is getting really bad for rejecting truthful 1-star reviews. Total BS! Just a rating review!
I am usually not one to complain, but this ordeal was, and still is, painful. I went to the Walmart website to order a 38" tall marionette poodle puppet (WB943C) advertised for $77.00 (CAD). It was a birthday gift for our Daughter. What we received was only 8" tall and not a poodle and advertised for $29.95 (WB369). The delivery to the store took 2 weeks, so when I went to pick up my order and realized it was wrong, the birthday was now only a few days away. I contacted support and they wanted me to return the wrong puppet, and once they receive it then they would send me the correct puppet. I explained that I didn't have time for all of that, and I would just use what I was sent as the gift, and they could just credit me the difference of $47.00. I even sent pictures to show their error for proof, yet they refuse to issue me a credit. I called this 3rd party business, Virventures, many times about this issue and they say it's a Walmart issue and someone from Walmart will contact me. I am still waiting for that phone call. And now they tell me in an email that the deadline for returning the puppet has passed so I am out the $47 cash and stuck with this cheaper puppet. Not cool, Virventures and Walmart. I refuse to waste any more time on this injustice, and I have accepted this, even though it's not right. I just needed to vent, and to let others know to be careful. And that decent customer service is out the window these days; and it makes me super sad.
It is stressful shopping online for groceries at Walmart. Quite often you do NOT get everything purchased and your groceries are NOT delivered on time or NOT at all, and your money is automatically taken from your bank account. The last time I shopped with them my groceries were NOT delivered and the money taken was NOT reimbursed until my Bank Fraud Department intervened.
I had the worst experience of my life when placing an online order with my local store. My groceries were set to be delivered between 4-5pm Nov.14 and I got a text saying it was on it way. The next thing I know I get another text it's delayed. The whole evening goes by and we never get our delivery. Next day Nov.15, I contact customer service online asking why I haven't recieved my order person says I will get my order between 8:55-9:55am. Around 2pm no groceries. So I call customer service this time. I am then informed my groceries left the store with the driver but something happen and they haven't been delivered or returned to the store... What? How does this happen and yet no one contacts the customer in 24hrs? So I ask to talk to the supervisor he refunds me the cost of my order and helps me reorder the same items. After placing the order Walmart then cancel my new order. I call customer service yet again. I was told they had top many orders and every order was being canceled. The order they lost? I now have to order takeout for my family of 7 because I don't have my groceries and they didn't not care one bit told me there was nothing they could doto help me. I'm appalled at Walmart they took my money but refused to send me my order wtf! Horrible business and I will never give them one cent of my hard earned money ever again!
On the date my order was suppose to be delivered. They wrote a delay with it when I called the excuse was they were very busy the day of my order so I didnt receive it 8 items. Also said some items weren't in stock when their suppose to do substitutes they didn't do any substitutes. So I received a partial refund waited 1 hour on the phone with them. The most horrible service I ever had. And I use to love walmart very disappointed

So went to Walmart, there were no handicap parking spots available. As we walk a vehicle is parked in a handicapped space. No sticker, no tag. We report to to the employee, they shrugged and laughed it off, we decided well since they want to disrespect paying customers and not announce for the person to move the vehicle they don't want us to shop there, it's bad enough they try to force people to use self check out, but to laugh and shrug at a customer down right rude and inconsiderate.
I started doing online grocery orders with Walmart because of the coupon code "savetime60" which for your first 4 orders of $75 or more you receive $15 off. I applied this coupon on my first order good for four orders it came off on my first, second and third order no problem but noticed on my fourth order it did not come off tried to talk to someone in chat Thursday night the night I was placing my fourth order and waited 30 minutes but no one came so called after I picked up my order and noticed with the final charge it still had not come off. Please note I only applied the coupon on the first order and the second and third it came off automatically because it was already applied and good for four orders. When I spoke to rep on phone she told me there was nothing they could do spoke to her supervisor same thing nothing they could do and conveniently the coupon expires tomorrow night so won't get to use it for fourth order. Some slick Walmart if you are only going to make coupon good for 3 orders don't advertise it is good for four.
I ordered three large yard Christmas displays and they were to arrive today. I arrived home from work at 3:30 p.m. and seeing that I had an email stating my items had been delivered at 2:50 p.m. yet there was nothing here. So I then contacted customer support to which I was told to wait up till 11:00 p.m. because it still might arrive. I'm supposed to stay up till 11:00 p.m. and wait for something that a driver has already claimed he has delivered? Yes ma'am and if it doesn't show up call us back tomorrow. Thanks for zero help. Will never use Walmart or Canpar courier Services again. I have since posted comments on Facebook regarding this incident and have heard back from several friends that they have been ripped off by Walmart and not received their refunds when their orders did not arrive. Dishonest company!
Prices are crazy high. Better to not take the time to go the distance to the store same prices as Loblaws now. There is no savings any longer. I need change to get a cart. I haven't had cash on me for years let alone loose change. Can't get bags unless you buy reusable ones.
I always forget to bring them unless I plan a trip. No I'll stop and pick up a few things.
Stock is always bad. And yet we see all the quarterly profits from ever corp they are record highs.
Very unprofessional. 15 minutes before getting my order I got a text message saying order has been cancelled. I called them and they told me system error and cannot do anything. All these items were on sales. I don't recommend making online purchase with Walmart.
There are some staff at Walmart St. Vital are Bullies, no joke about this. It happened a few times not too far from self checkout or when am going to a cashier to cash my stuff. As am walking one or two of the staff would walk right in front of me on purpose just to cut me off. It's intimidating. I complained to the manager about these issues before. It kept happening. As am walking they would cut me off, more than once. A couple of times I almost tripped, they would offer no apology as if it didn't happened. It's unacceptable. These staff members that are intimidating me are from Pakistan, or India. It needs to stop.
I have spent thousands and thousands at Walmart over the years and it has always been my favorite place to shop. It seems in the past years however their overall customer service experience is tanking. It went from great returns to difficult, it went from bagging your products to us bagging our own, now we have no bags available half of the time. Some locations you have to pay to use a cart, next will be parking. Today is the final straw for me. I go in a store that has absolutely 0 cashiers, only self check out. I am not receiving any discount or pay for being a cashier so why am I forced into having to check myself out. Hard to believe they went from my top place to shop to my bottom place to shop. If I could rate lower then 1 I would.
Not dealing with Walmart again... last delivery did not show up and no help on line, or local store, just excuses... after waiting for promised delivery update for 4 hours, I cancelled the order and will never deal there again. They just lost 800 dollars a month in my orders.
Are you kidding me walmart? How is possible that in one of the biggest super stores at Toronto, you guys doesn't have shopping cars?
I ordered items for a friend who is in Canada for a business trip and will be leaving by Saturday. I ordered the items Monday, spent $288 and even got charged a $7 scheduled delivery fee for 8pm-9pm. I don't mind paying the delivery fee (most stores would waive that for the amount I purchased) as long as the items are delivered. My friend waited until 12midnight, nothing was delivered.
I contacted customer service the next day. The rep was amazing, assured me they will take care of the redelivery. He even refunded my delivery fee without me asking. I asked for the same time slot that day. Again, 12 midnight came, nothing arrived.
The online tracking system still has the old order and it's not updated in the system. Seriously, Walmart, do not offer delivery service if you cannot do it. An hour delay is still forgivable, but 2 days? C'mon! Please pause grocery deliveries then fix your system and your delivery service companies. We will use other service for the meantime or just pick up our own groceries. But just STOP giving paying customers false hopes that their items will arrive. Admit that you suck at this, regroup and do better. Not a single review site gave you more than 2 stars and I should have checked first.

It is so pathetic and heartbreaking to find out that Walmart regulations about online purchases are untrue and Walmart gives the naive and trusting customer the run around so Walmart can hold onto the money that belongs to the customer.
Is this why Walmart supposedly has record profits from the blood sweat and tears from hard working Canadians.

I'm not surprised that walmart.ca already has a low rating. They are one of the worst business operations available in Canada, and should be avoided at all costs.
After shopping at Walmart stores for many years, I decided to try walmart.ca.
Big mistake!
In less than one month of orders, they made errors with three of my orders! The last one was ordered six weeks ago, pillows which I needed for my move.
Not only did the pillows not arrive on the scheduled date, when I called walmart.ca, they urged me to wait another week because of shipping issues on their end. I wanted to cancel the orders since I would be forced to buy the pillows elsewhere. A week later, still no pillows. I emailed and called, and requested a cancellation, and asked that my credit card not be charged since the pillows were purchased elsewhere. The assistant on the phone agreed to follow up.
Suddenly today, the pillows arrived. Of course, I had bought pillows in the store (in person) already. I didn't want to sleep without pillows until walmart.ca got their act together!
Walmart.ca insisted that I had to travel the long distance to the closest store, and pay the cost of travel myself to return the items so that I would not be charged.
As I said, I had two previous issues with Walmart.ca deliveries within a month's time due to shipping.
No thanks walmart.ca!
Now on, I'm shopping in the local stores instead of virtual assistants working on the other side of the world who don't know how to do their job properly. Aside from that, they speak with a thick accent, the phone line sounds across the world, and the reception sound is terrible.
In Walmart Mumford. I was followed by a floor walker, accused of stealing 3 times and had my bags searched. I purchased a carpet upholstery ad well as other small items. As it was a Saturday, I will be call the manager on a Monday, to make an appointment to return. I will never ever purchase anything from Walmart or go in any of their stores. As it is, I am returning what I bought. After being accused of being a criminal (thief) there is no way I can use it. I find it ironic that they protect the privacy of their associates; however, they have no respect for their customers nor do they acknowledge their customers privacy rights. I may be overreacting but I feel very traumatized over their actions.
Hello everyone. Be careful if you are buying something online from Walmart Canada. I placed an order for 10x12 Hardtop Gazebo on 21July 2022. A delivery was promised on 27 July, rescheduled to 29 and finally on 1st Aug. Never delivered. I had hired 3 people for 350$ to install who were to come on 1st August. I ended up paying 100$ cash to those installers. I tried to cancel the order on 4th August, they will not cancel it because the item is out for delivery. Till today, September 10,2022, I have not received refund for the product. The review email which was sent to me by Walmart, upon my giving negative review was rejected as per email I received from Walmart Canada. Their customer service, escalation team is worst. Answer: After the bad experience, Walmart will not be my first choice for shopping. Bad customer service and employee behavior.
Answer: Choose menu option 1 for grocery order and customer service will answer. Discovered in frustration, was going to say oops and ask for transfer to human but no need.
