Never again, worst customer service
November 21, 2021

Vroom messed up my first contract by flipping the sales price so instead of 23,000 it was 32,000 so I had to wait a month for them to fix that, and no one knows what's going on when you call, finally received my car thankfully it was amazing and the delivery driver was the only great experience with this company, but my temp tag was expiring and II've been contacting them everyday for two weeks and everyone on the phone just kept telling me "they shipped it out" which I knew they didn't since I have the FedEx app an can see they did not, finally I talked to a man named Bryan who told me they in fact did not ship it out because they needed my declaration paper from my insurance company, that's no problem but not a single person over the course of a week said anything to me about that what so ever. Sent that through email whoever was emailing my from vroom told me that paper was wrong and gave me a list of what was supposed to me on the paper which infact was all right on that paper so I sent it again and they read it again I'm assuming and said they'd send my tags out, tags expired 11/19 and still no temp tags they do not care at all all those representatives on the phone knew my tag was expiring and now is expired, who knows how long it will take for me to get my actual tags.

I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE BACK IN JULY 2021 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY CONTRACT. I'VE CONTACTED VROOM AND MY ISSUES HAS YET TO BE SOLVED. VROOM REACHED OUT TO ME ON OCTOBER 16,2021 AND ASKED HAS MY ISSUES BEEN RESOLVED AND I REPLIED AND SAID NO. BUT INSTEAD OF RECEIVING MY SIGNED CONTRACT, I RECEIVED ANOTHER TEMP TAG THAT WILL EXPIRE ON NOVEMBER 27,2021. WHAT'S THE HOLD UP WITH MY SIGNED CONTRACT? HOW LONG AM I SUPPOSED TO RIDE AROUND WITH A TEMP TAG? I WAS GIVING THIS NUMBER 599 AND I'M NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY BECAUSE SHE SAID THEY NEVER ANSWER. WHAT'S THE POINT IN HAVING A CAR WHEN YOU CAN'T DRIVE IT ONCE THE TEMP TAG EXPIRES? WHAT'S THE JOY IN WAITING ON ANOTHER TEMP TAG TO COME IN THE MAIL? WHAT'S THE JOY IN MAKING PAYMENTS ON A VEHICLE THAT YOU CAN'T ENJOY? THE ONLY REASON I GAVE 1 STAR IS BECAUSE IT'S NOT LETTING ME FUTHER WITHOUT RATING. IF I COULD RATE A -5, I MOST CERTAINLY WILL. YES, I'M ANGRY BECAUSE 4 MONTHS AND I'M GETTING NO ANSWERS. HAD I KNOWN WHAT I KNOW NOW, I WOULD HAVE ZROOM STRAIGHT PASSED VROOM WEBSITE

A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER

Absolute $#*! Company
November 16, 2021

I recently tried to purchase a vehicle from Vroom. I was not doing a trade in. It was a simple purchase. I wanted to do financing, and that is where all the trouble came into play. First in order to proceed, the make you pay a $250 non-refundable deposit. This is key, once you do this, their service and responsiveness goes straight to $#*!. I had $50,000 in my savings account and was purchasing a car for $36,000. My credit rating is 810 and I make over $150,000 a year. This deal would take about 15 minutes in a dealer. I was bounced around inside of Vrooms $#*! sales team asking for multiple documents and proof of money. Long story short after 9 days inside of their clown show of a company I just said $#*! it, keep my $250, I am going somewhere else. Maybe that is their business strategy, screw people over so hard that they just keep giving them $250. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I would give negative stars if I could
November 15, 2021

I would give them negative stars if I could. WORST experience ever. They are a start-up company and it shows. The buying process was a joke, contract done wrong, they argued with me that it was not, only agreed to correct when my bank pushed back. Communication non-existent. It got worse when the car arrives. Missing a piece of the trim on the front fender, and multiple places where the fenders don't match the bumper. None of which was disclosed to us. Transmission started to slip after two days. Driver that delivered said he picked the car up at an AUCTION, which explains a lot! Return process even worse than buying. They are charging us $1.00/per mile even though we told them we were returning the car within their allotted timeframe. I have sent four emails to follow up on when they are picking up this car - NO RESPONSE. Meanwhile, I am incurring fees for the junk car they sent. Then you call and you have to wait on hold for 30 minutes. I am trying to work, I do not have time for that. Don't do it - ANY convenience this offers will quickly be negated by the horrid service.

I'm in the middle of a deal to buy a camaro from this ridiculous online car dealership Vroom. At first my sales person was wonderful she helped me find exactly what I was looking for and helped me get the deal rolling. The good news ends there. First on several occasions vroom attempted to relist the car I had a deposit on and insurance. I was in the middle of getting my own financing (they don't like that) my bank needed the purchase agreement but vroom refused to send it over because they wanted a copy of the lien release letter for my trade in. Which was in the process of being mailed to me. I did provide them with a paid in full letter from the bank to keep the deal from being delayed but they delayed it anyway. Once we passed that hurdle I sent them payment by directly depositing the bank check made out to vroom into their bank account. I was then told I would be notified about delivery in 24 to 48 hours. This is where the games begin. After waiting 5 days I decided to call them. The children at Vroom told me they need the actual endorsed title to my trade in before they will schedule delivery. I said no because the new car comes with a 7 day 250 miles test warranty if I'm not happy I return it for a full refund. So I wasn't signing over my car until I was sure I was keeping the new car. At this point I have now read the online reviews of Vroom this worried me more now. After 3 days of phone calls the children at Vroom put me in touch with an adult who told me there was another option. I pay a refundable $399.00 missing documents fee and delivery could be scheduled. I was ok with this option and paid the fee. Once again I was told in 24 to 48 hours I would be notified of delivery 7 days later no call or email. So I called them and now they tell me they need a power of attorney which I had already signed and sent back to them two weeks ago. Today I received the document that required my signature. Highlighted in the accompanying letter it stated that this power of attorney was required if there is a balance owed on my trade in. It has already been proven that there is no balance because they have the lien release letter proving that my trade in is paid off. So this delay step isn't needed. As of today November 9 2021 my point and click easy car purchase has now taken a month and a ton of my personal time and still no acknowledgment of delivery of my new car. In 3 days I will make my first loan payment on a car I still don't have and today I made my second insurance payment on this car that they won't tell me where it is. I will update this story as more happens. But my advice for now is stay far away from Vroom they are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with

Vroom-less
November 9, 2021

I purchased this vehicle in July. Immediately sent them all of the information required to register my car in Georgia. They came back several times and asked for the information again and I forwarded them what was needed. Eventually, my temp tag expired and I got them to send another. It expired. Now, the company literally will not respond to me. I am driving around on an expired tag and these guys won't even answer an email. Concerned about the legality of the car, at this point.

The simplest thing needed to be done, which is sending over a document to me. They requested a signature from co-buyer, yet haven't made any attempts to make sure email is correct, nor made sure that the "Docusign" is ready for signature! Now its my fault that they didn't ask for co-buyers email. Then after giving it to the representative from where-ever in the world, THEY GOT THE EMAIL WRONG. Been hearing "so sorry for the inconvenience" like a broken record... On hold for hours, called and emailed them so many times throughout this whole purchase... salesman was great. But after the numbers and signature, ghost. Would not recommend this company. Why would Cargurus support these clowns.
I would rather be at the dealership! This company will soon go out of business with their horrendous customer service. WHAT A JOKE.

I wish I could give a negative 5 stars. I paid a downpayment of $5k on the 18th and they just had my paperwork sitting in the system since. I have called every single day, even tried on the weekends. I get transferred to a million people and no one seems to know what to do or be able to transfer me to anyone that knows anything at all. I want a refund, but I know that will take ages to recieve. Please do not buy from this company. Just go to a dealership or some other place. I can't even begin to describe how much of a disappointment they are.

13 weeks and waiting
October 30, 2021

I recently bought a 2020 Hyundai Kona EV from Vroom, completely online and over the phone culminating in the delivery of my car on July 28th. I was warned by Vroom that due to the pandemic, the DMV's processing time for plates is an average of 12-weeks. Vroom delivered my vehicle with a 30-day temporary tag, and I was told I would be notified via email once they had sent my paperwork to my DMV for registration.
13 weeks later, my new car is parked because they have not provided the new registration I paid for, and my car cannot legally be driven. I have called Vroom several times to get an update, but it is almost impossible to get through to the registration department, and my calls are frequently dropped. Vroom customer service is awful. If you are going to buy online, do not use Vroom.

Delivery represented as 14 days or less.
Experience - 30 days.
Stated delivery refund on delivery.
2.5 weeks later, nothing.
Need paperwork for DMV and not forthcoming.
Website navigation is a joke.
Repeated phone inquiry is a joke.
I'm fine with the vehicle, but the process stinks.
They say "you will be kept up to date with every step in the process" That is not true and will spend too much time on the phone going no where.

Misleading
October 26, 2021

I purchased a car in September 2021. The car said it came with remote start on the main page when searching for a car. I paid for the car and received it but my fob did not have the option for remote. I let the company know and I sent them the screen shot of the car. Little did I know in the more in depth features remote start was not listed. I told them that was very misleading. They basically told me because the screen shot I sent them didn't show the vin # they could not take responsibility for the missing feature. So they called me a liar. So now I am going to leave this review anywhere I can, tell anyone I know not to go through vroom and never do business there again… for $260 that I was quoted for a new fob.

I tried to purchase one vehicle and was supposed to be called back in10 minutes and nothing. I called the next day to find out why my purchase was cancelled. That's when I met Andre Gardenhire and boy what a smooth talker he was. I found a great car with everything I wanted so he took a credit app and came back minutes later. Well the down was more than I could afford so he made an appt ( doubtful) with the bank for the end of the day and SURPRISE they wouldn't budge. I agreed to original terms and he said he still wanted to call another bank. I said shouldn't I press start purchase and he said no let me do it. He also wouldn't take a deposit. I needed the documents uploaded. Well I don't have a car so getting Ins for no car is hard, I was doing that. Well I'm sure you guessed the rest. Somebody else got the car. Really we had all day and someone got it at the last second. I don't believe him I think there never really was a car and they put it on to suck you in to buy a more expensive car. I also saw the same car advertised on the CARS app. So beware of Andre and the other smooth talkers who pretend they will help get the car you want. You will only be broken-hearted. I hope Andre is proud of HIMSELF. The moral of the story never trust a CAR SALEMAN.

Like many reviews- It starts out great, they tell you want you want to hear, you feel like it will be an easy process they boast of how they will take care of you, etc. I've been through several people, signed 3 contracts because they said others expired apparently and one they cancelled the order even though I had mailed my title as I was supposed to. Still nothing. And they've had my title for weeks, but every time I call they have an excuse- they said someone had tried to call me to pick up the car once [false] they said fedex was sent to me and I didn't sign [false] they promise I just have to sign one more thing- POA and then that will finalize it but they still haven't mailed me anything else. Still nothing- we have to call them daily and they say different things.

Vroom is a scam
October 19, 2021

Bought a 2016 Chevy Tahoe back in aug got it in sept. We wanted to trade it for another vehicle and vroom stopped communication with us. Then reported they reported that we had a different vehicle than what was in the driveway so returning it became impossible. They said that the one we had in the driveway did not meet quality standards and they would not buy it back. Still fighting with them to take the stupid Tahoe back.

Don't waste your time
October 19, 2021

I filled out all the information to get a price on my 2012 cadillac srx in better than average condition, the offer they gave was $1,253 that is laughable, the wheels and tires are worth that. The car is still valued at 12k to 16k by Kelly blue book, don't waste your time

As I said in the title, good prices, great selection, I really like the car I bought from them. It was just like they described it, The price I paid was more than fair, however, when it comes down to getting me a tag and title, not so much. I called them at leat 4 times to let them know that the paper tag was about to expire and got different answers from everyone I talked too. The tag expires tomorrow so what did they do (after a lot of explaining on my part), they emailed another paper tag!
I would suggest that if you want to purchase a car over the internet, that you go to Carvana, or one of the other internet dealers.

I don't even know where to start with this company. As I type this I'm on the phone with Vroom. Been on hold for over a hour and a half. I bought my car through vroom in May. Easy process and lots of communication till they got the money and my other car. After that no one knows what the other person is doing. I've made at least 3 dozen phone calls in the past 4 months. All I want is my tag and all I get is misinformation. I've mailed in documents multiple times that they requested yet still nothing. Worst company. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from Vroom.

Purchased a Porsche on 5/3/2021 from Vroom. Five months later, after 5 temporary tags, they still didn't send permanent tags. The last temporary tags expired on 10/2/2021. They won't return calls, they won't provide new temporary tags saying they can't issue any more temporary tags. Paid for the car and submitted all registration paperwork 5 months back, but car is useless parked in the garage without tags. I don't understand why their dealership is not revoked. You would get a phone call multiple times every day until you buy the car and sign papers. Now, no return of calls, no permanent tags, no resolution, dead silence. Beware before you buy.
