Vroom is the worst place to ever buy a car from they will give you a Aneurism. Customer service poor as in they have no idea of what the hell they are doing. There is no communication between the agents. It took them 90 days to pay off my trade in turn messing up my credit, 4 months to extend my temp tag because they didn't submit the docs for my titling. What's worst is they took another month to to send the title and when they did the color of the vehicle was incorrect. I'd rather climb to the Empire State Building a jump off before I do business with them again

If I could give a rating of 0 I would. I have purchased many cars over the years and this has by far been the absolute worst experience. Customer service verges on rudeness. The paperwork process takes DAYS to complete. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Carvana and went smooth as silk. In fact, I had my vehicle within one week from start of process to finish. I can't even get through the paperwork process with VROOm in a weeks time and I have been very timely in providing the documentation required. I won't go through a purchase with VROOM again. My recommendation to VROOM is to purchase a vehicle through Carvana to see how phenomenal customer service and a smooth process works.

They take a $249 deposit to buy a truck, and then ghost you. No contracts, no work on their part. If you try to call them, you will be on hold for over 30 minutes before they hang up on you. Then, if you cancel a week later, they will keep your deposit! For doing absolutely nothing for you, they will keep $250! And notice it is almost impossible to find reviews of the company online?! This place is a total scam.

I was looking to take advantage of the used car market since prices were so high.
I shopped my vehicle around online and Vroom gave me the best offer!
I got $3,500 more than I paid for my car in 2018!
This afforded me the ability to purchase a new electric vehicle and end up with more cash in my bank account!
The offer was straight forward as was the rest of their purchase process!
They sent all the instructions via email and any paperwork that needed to be signed was FedEx'd next day!
The pickup process was delayed a few days because of truck transmission problems, but that was remedied in 3 days!
They got my car on a Tuesday and I had a check the next day!
I couldn't believe it!
With some of the negative reviews I was a little skeptical, but this all went so smoothly, they made a believer outta me!

I told them I had my own financing, but they ran me through their finance people instead. After a week of the runaround, I finally got someone to use my financing on the deal. Thought I was good, but I was wrong. Now they keep asking for more info even though I've sent it 3 times already. They insist on having my social security card, but won't except it since it's laminated. Claim they can't verify my identity without it. They refuse to do the deal without it now and plan to keep my deposit. Worst company I have ever done business with. They do this on purpose, hoping you just walk away. What a POS company

Worst car buying experience. I've been waiting for four months to get my license plates. I've called six times about it and been on hold for an hour every time. The conversation has been identical every call with no progress. They are waiting for an emissions test which I'm not required to have, I've sent them information pointing this out but for some reason they can't put two and two together.

They are completely incompetent, they've even acknowledged the fact that I don't need an emissions test but for months I've had zero progress.

I know what you're thinking, "how bad could it be?" It can be bad! It's not worth it!

If I could give no stars I would TERRIBLE customer service we ended up canceling our order because They wouldn't ever send the title application to the bank and every time we called waited on hold for over an hour and still got nothing accomplished we have talked to so many people I couldn't tell you their names and nobody knows anything they have the title to our car we were trading in and nobody in the entire vroom company can do anything to get it mailed back to us been a week now and still no title DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM Customer service is absolutely terrible worst of the worst

I bought a Dodge Challenger through. The only time they would talk to me was when I was buying the car. I was not kept updated on the delivery process at all, my emails stopped being returned and all of a sudden when I call I'm on hold and no ever answers. They call you from random numbers in the beginning it seems like so you won't have their direct number.

I purchased a vehicle through Vroom back in June of this year. I have had to call and request temporary tags every month since August. Last month (November), when I called to request new temporary tags, I was told that Vroom could no longer issue me temporary tags for my vehicle. I was then told that I would receive an email finalizing the transfer of my previous tags to the new vehicle and I would receive instructions on what to do next. That was a week ago and not only have I not received anything to complete this process, no additional follow-up has been made to resolve this issue.

The temporary tags I received in October are now almost a full month expired and due to this, I have been unable to use my vehicle for almost a month- which is completely unacceptable. Every attempt I've made to complete this process, I'm met with people who can't answer my questions or provide alternatives. Not to mention that calling in to resolve my issue is met with a 30 minute wait time or longer. I'm actually typing this email while I'm on hold listening to the piano music repeat over and over. My current hold time for this call is at 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 19 seconds and growing.

I am unable to travel without current tags. I need someone to help me resolve this issue because it has been a truly terrible experience. I am the one who has had to call every month and request new tags. I am the one who is waiting over an hour on the phone just to be told I can't be helped and not be given an explanation as to why this situation is a part of my experience. I bought a vehicle- which I pay for every month- that I haven't been able to drive in over 3 weeks.

Spent all day on the phone setting things up, made a deposit, they approved financing. Everything was ready to go, and then they sent an email cancelling the deal stating they couldn't "prove" we were us even after sending a copy of our drivers licenses and offering to send them other documentation. Offered to get our own financing up front. We understand that they need to verify our identity, but to just cancel the deal without giving us an opportunity to do so is crappy business.

I went to vroom to sell my 2019 Lexus and was initially a little skeptical. Long story short the process went seamlessly, I saw some of these reviews and was a bit apprehensive but glad I followed through. Keep in mind the number of cars vroom is moving in comparison to the number of negative reviews, it's a fraction. They did right by me, 5 stars all the way.

We purchased a 2019 Acura MDX Hybrid in September of 2021 and we've still not received our title. We've spent over 10 hours on hold trying to get help and we cannot get anyone to get us the paperwork we need. The service is untrained and uncaring. It's another example of a company with not heart.

Purchasing my new vehicle was easy... great customer service. Truck delivered on 10/27... by12/04 the truck was towed away to a dealer near by. What happened? The truck did some very crazy things... battery had no water in it so I assume they did not include that in their FULL inspection before delivery. And of course the 90 day warranty doesn't cover it. Now, dealer replaced battery at my cost and now all the warning lights are on again so dealer is running diagnostics on it now... how much you wanna bet I will be told this isn't covered under the dealer warranty. Absolute no help from customer service at Vroom... nasty people. NEVER BUY FROM THESE FOOLS AGAIN! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

First contact with Vroom was good, but once deposit was taken, experience was unprofessional, unethical, couldn't reach anyone, no account management, no resolution for issues they caused, requested manager, hung up on, on hold for over 5 hours, then they cancelled us without returning deposit. We did not cancel, they did! COMPANY IS NOT LEGIT... Wish I could have got a hold of Hennessey to tell him how the company is operating. Steven Covey would be horrified with this company on so many levels. TERRIBLE

I finanlized my F-150 purchase with Vroom on the 9th of November and recieved delivery of my truck on the 26th, 17 days later. Was given false delivery information multiple times. When the truck did finally show up, three of the four tires had 25% tread left (was told the tires were "fine") and the truck needs an allignment. Zero follow-up from Vroom, regardless as to how many emails or phone calls I submitted. STAY AWAY.

I will never go with room again this is the worst experience ever do not buy a car from them they will take your money and not help u at all with anything

Purchased a car, paid in full, ran out of temp tags and had to return the car sold to me without a clear title. Filed complaints with BBB and Texas DMV. Awaiting a refund of 40K.

Vroom is nothing but a bunch of lies and scams. Started my deal on the 3rd at which time everything seemed smooth and they received their payment then it all fell apart. The sales department does a great job making sure you get everything in so that the bank can send them money then you become a piece of trash. No call backs, no answers, hours on hold for nobody to ever answer the line, promise of vehicle delivery that never happens and just downright slimmy behavior. First I was told that it generally takes 4 days after purchase for delivery (didn't happen) then I was told the 13th (didn't happen) then I was told the 23rd (didn't happen trucking company didn't even know about the delivery yet) then it was the 26th (trucking company admits they still don't have the means to deliver the vehicle. Now I am getting the monthly bill on the vehicle and still have no delivery date. Everyone stay away from this company. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates your business and makes sure your going to be taken care of. I am now stuck with trying to get the order canceled and the money sent back to the bank. If I could have put zero or even negative stars I would have. This company has no business taking large sums of money from people and should be closed down and held liable for the hours and hours of wasted time they cause their customers/victims.

I have purchased a car in April 2021 and in November 2021 still no plates. I have called multiple times and there was no update or the real reason why. Just said they are having difficulty with the title. How did they get the car? How did Chase issue a loan? AND they said that the state of TX only allows 3 temp tags. So after my tags expire I will not be able to get even a temp tag. Not sure what to do but going to get an attorney and report to the police. I sold 2 cars to Carvana and even though selling is different than buying I strongly recommend Carvana over Vroom. DO NOT BUY FROM VROOM!

I signed a contract for a challenger in the exact color I wanted. They sold it from under me, after my contract was signed. After 15 hours on the phone with these idiots and 2 other cars later I had to settle on one. It's been 2 months and no car yeah. I wouldn't recommend an ape using Vroom. Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. Luckily they breached their own contract and I'm suing.
