Liars and Frauds

Ordered coil spring for my sons car. They CLAIMED they had them in stock, but 2 days later when I inquired, they had not shipped the items, and would not be able to do so for another week. Needing the parts immediately, I asked to cancel and get a refund. They supposed submitted the refund request IMMEDIATELY, but I got a notice the next day saying the item had already shipped. When I checked the FedEx tracking info, it verified that they had submitted the process AFTER my request, and FedEx didn't pick it up until many more hours later. When I called FedEx to reverse the shipment, the recipient and address were NOT what was submitted with the order. Unable to verify that it was mine, they couldn't reverse it.

Contacted Vivid's customer support throughout the day insisting on a refund, but they insisted that I would have to wait until I received the order and return it (even though I made it VERY clear that it were NOT shipped to ME). I finally got tired of getting disconnected and disputed the charges.

In the meantime, I submitted an order for the SAME merchandise from another vendor, received it, AND installed it on my vehicle before these clowns could even figure out where the shipment had gone.

Unorganized, deceitful, and the bureaucracy is insurmountable. If you can find what you need elsewhere - and you probably can for the same or less - then do yourself a favor by avoiding these frauds.

Worst company ever!

Worst company to ever deal with! Be aware! After placing my order I was inform it would cost an additional $XXX. XX dollars to get the item. After I already place the order! So I ended up paying for it and then got another email 2 hours later saying it would be another $300 on top again! Like wtf! How are they still in business? Had my order cancel when I called them out on it lmao

Please don't buy from this company! I had so much trouble with them for a refund, as they are the middle man they had to return it and get a refund from the manufacturer before they refund me and they almost force me to buy as they said it was shipped after I cancel this order 2 hours after I placed it online. Then I had to pay the shipping fees to return the order to them. Then as I ordered with affirm credit I had to pay $ 25 interest as it took Vivid almost 1 month to refund Affirm. Don't buy with this company. This cancellation cost me $ 75. Don't buy from this company.

If you want parts fast, don't buy from them, make them by yourself or buy somewhere else! It's faster to go to school learning to weld... bad communication, just lies, and promises... still waiting after 3 months... they sent me wrong inlets, 600$ and, and after 3 months, still not got the right one. Still excuses after 4 months that they will receive the exhaust (3200$) every day. And ship ASAP... I'm worry after all their bad reviews...

Just an update, I got a response after I made a complaint to the Bureau of Consumer Protection | Federal Trade Commission in August 2021 after moving to new city. Vivid Racing refused to update my shipping address even after months of waiting and me warning them I was moving on a specific day which I had no control over the time my lease was up. This meant if they sent the parts (which they never did) they would go to the wrong place and I might never get anything back in terms of a refund or my parts.

The actual response: First a sales rep told me sending a partial refund would not be an issue after I called for the 20th or 30th time. Then shortly after this phone conversation, a manager responded to the complaint I made to the Bureau of Consumer Protection and said they would offer to refund me and which led to my complaint getting marked resolved. This response is partially true. Vivid sent me a form/template email to initiate a full refund, but which demanded I pay for all return shipping for my other parts and was not what I actually wanted. I asked for a full refund including shipping, or a partial refund for parts not sent. Either way, not getting my rear shocks, or paying for shipping left me down a few hundred dollars. I refused to pay shipping costs and wrote them numerous times saying I only wanted a partial refund for parts not received and never heard back. I then went to my credit card company to challenge my transaction and this seems to be my last resort. Since then I found another store/shop to finish my project and which was awesome to deal with (honest, timely, friendly). 4 Wheel Parts did an awesome job. I will never do business with Vivid Racing again.

I'm still waiting for half my Icon Stage II 3.5 inch Lift Kit for a 2019 Toyota 4Runner to ship after I ordered it on 4/27/2021 when item was in stock on vividracing.com. The kit costs $2,654.75 on vividracing.com and still doesn't show as out of stock or on backorder after 3 months. It's now 7/19/2021 and after multiple complaints and promised shipping dates, the latest is that my order will ship on 8/17/2021, which is 16 weeks (4 months) from my original order. Customer service continues to blame warehouse and push shipping dates back. They will not respond to me about replacing missing parts on time, issuing a refund or a providing me with a partial refund. I'm moving on August 6,2021, before their latest shipping date and I now fear I will never get the second half of my suspension system. Vivid hasn't responded to me since 7/13/2021 when I asked for a refund or partial refund and will not respond about changing my shipping address.

Worst Customer Service Ever

I purchased a set of brake pads for my 2018 c7 z06 that did not fit even though online the website said they would. I have been trying to return the brake pads for over a month now and I just keep getting the run around, they say they are going to get back to me but never do. When I call they say that it could only be handled through email and all they do is not email me, I have been emailing them for the past week with no response, this is a nightmare and the worst thing is those brake pads cost me $700, Vivid is the worst Auto Parts Co I have ever dealt with

Customer service issue
November 3, 2021

Ordered a new set wheels, called spoke to two different representatives regarding my order, they said they were contacting the supplier, put me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up with no response, I received an email after the first phone call telling me about the possible delays. As of November 2nd I still have received and feed back even after sending and email to customer service. Still up in the air about Vivid Racing, that is why I giving this review.

Horrible experience

By far the worst company I have dealt with. I don't think I've ever written a review on a company but this was bad. Purchased a product that said it was for my vehicle. Received weeks later after I was told it was in stock and would be at my location within 5days. Received part to find out it wasn't compatible, was told that it was, sent photos showing that it was and still gave me issues in returning the item. Ordered a replacement item once again that they stated was in stock to find out again it was taking weeks to come in. Never received tracking, couldn't get a hold of anyone, customer service was useless stating they would send tracking information by end of day, never received it. Requested refund for the second item and was denied. Finally came the next day so I wanted to return it because had already replaced it. Paid for both items to be shipped back about two weeks ago. I called Monday and they confirmed they received the part back and I should have my refund by end of week. I call today (end of week) to talk to someone who has roosters singing into the phone it sounded like. Couldn't figure out where my package went or the status of refund. Got transferred to someone else who couldn't find any information either. Who apparently couldn't find any emails, recent phone calls, or orders returned in the file. So once again by far the worst company I've purchased from. Will not be ordering from them again and I'll be calling once again next week to get a status on refund.

Never placed my order?

I placed an order back in May 2021 for a bumper for my Tacoma. The price for the item and shipping was cheaper than Southern Style Offroad (SSO). After placing my order they emailed me back saying that they made an accounting error and needed me to pay more for shipping. I asked why I should cover their mistake? After going back and forth I finally gave in because it was still going to be a bit cheaper than SSO. Strike one. I waited around a month before asking for an update because the lead time was around 10-14 weeks. I asked for an update and they said they would contact SSO about the order and get back to me within the week. Cool, no issue. After about two weeks I asked again and their reply was the same as before. So on and so on for months I would ask for updates every couple weeks and still the same response, and I never did receive an answer. Strike two. Finally, I had time to call them and after getting down to brass tacks, it ended up that they never placed my order in the first place. I have been waiting for five months for at least an update on my order that literally went nowhere. Strike Three. It baffles me that they are so incompetent and lazy that they couldn't have caught this huge error earlier. For a business claiming to have been around for 20 years, I don't know how that is physically possible. I have requested my refund, so we'll see how that goes.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Let me tell y'all about this company right here. They possibly have the WORST customers service that I have ever experienced in my life. They sold me the wrong parts for my truck back in June & when I told them I wanted to return them & get a full refund, they said they can only refund the amount of the part & not the tax & shipping because according to them I ordered the wrong part & they are 100% not in the wrong. I argued about it with them until I decided to just get what I can get back for the part. I mailed the parts back in July when they FINALY sent me the return label. Up until August they were givig me the run around about where the parts were. They apparently couldn't find it. I finally threatened to get my lawyer involved if I didn't not receive my refund. They sent an email that same day saying that they found my return order & I will receive the refund after they do their little inspection ( the parts never left the package I just took them out of the box & immediately realized it's the wrong part) well it has now been 2 months & I have YET to receive a refund. Nobody is answering my emails or my phone calls. I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Would rate them -5 star if I could. Screenshots of emails they sent are attached. They said that they needed the tracking number so they can see where it's at AFTER they said they have the package. There is not tracking number because the package was delivered 2 DAMN MONTHS AGO!

Ordered test pipes from them, waited 3 months, then they emailed saying "ETA end of the month" with still no shipping number… first and last time ordering from this place. And their customer service is trash, takes for ever to reply back to email.

What a Joke

I ordered parts for my truck in May of 2021. I understand covid messes it up. No communication form Vivid was BS. Then when I called to cancel the order ten weeks after shipping was supposed to happen they dragged their feet on the cancelation. I will not buy anything from these guys ever again. They need to learn that customers make there business not the other way around.

About a month ago I purchased a rim from them with a promise of fast shipping (within a week). After almost a month of waiting for a tracking number, sending them several emals and calling them many times with no answer. I got to chat with someone using their chat system today and was told the item I purchased a month ago will not be shipped. DO NOT BUY from this company they have poor communication and customer service.

I bought 4 tires on the website on 10/03/21 for a price of 1199. 76 plus shipping and tax for a total of 1549. 99. Paid in full charged to my credit card.The day after my credit card was charged I got a email saying the tires had gone up to 456.00 dollars each plus shipping and tax and how did I want to handle this.
Since then I have spent several hours with live chat, email and phone calls and still have not talked with anyone who can help. They advertised the product I bought and paid in full, seems simple do the right thing and honer the contract. I am told Rudy Arauz is the only person that can help. I have 3 emails from him-

Very Disappointed

I ordered a Green filter for my Bullitt Mustang in MAY! It is now October! Numerous emails and all Vivid will do is send me an email with more bla bla bla and we will update you as soon as possible. They keep blaming the manufacturer! I also ordered a Green filter from "The Green Filter Company" direct and what do you know... I received may filter from them in a months time! I give vivid 1 star because at least they will respond by email. I want my filter or I want my money back so I can order another one from the manufacturer. Original Order #******* then changed to #******* is now order #*******
They keep changing the order number to help their end. ALL I WANTED WAS AN AIR FILTER didn't think it would be this difficult

I fell victim to their exceptional use of SEOs.
The wheels I ordered were exactly what I had been looking for.

So, I ordered them.

Several days later, I get an email stating the product I ordered was no longer available.

Understandable, it is 2021 after all. So I asked for help finding another set of wheels to replace the ones I ordered.

Nothing!
So I sent another email about a week later asking for my money back.

Nothing!

So here it is a month later, two more emails and a phone call, and...

You guessed it, NOTHING!

Would give 0 stars if I could! Ordered my exhaust in March, immediately took my over $700 and have not been given a shipment email and have spoken many times to customer service, sales, everybody but they are all unhelpful, telling me different things all for them to keep pushing back the shipment month after month! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! It's most likely gonna happen this month too! ESPECIALLY, the fact that when I placed my order it said in green IN STOCK, checked the bottom of their page explaining the shipping on how if its in stock it will be processed in 48 hours and shippedout in 2-3 days, which never happened! THIS IS BULL$#*!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! JUST AWFUL!

Update: they tried to push it back to the end of the year which means it would've been almost a year waiting, so I canceled and got it from American trucks with 3 days!

They take your money and don't ship out your products. If you attempt to contact them for info you will not got a response. Highly recommend not buying from them as I doubt they are even a real company. Best bet is to file a chargeback if you accidentally bought from these scammers.
