This is a scam they do not even send you a birth certificate. They email you a useless application document. That is what your $50 gets you. Oh and if you ask for a refund even though they claim to have a customer
Satisfaction policy, they will block your email. Save yourself the trouble and use vitalchek. They will actually send you a birth certificate. If you give me my money back I'll gladly change my review. My next message will be to the BBB.

This service is a SCAM. They make it sound like they are an official service then don't deliver the documents you've paid for. After 4 months my birth certificate never showed up and they claim it will be several MORE months. I checked and the government's wait time is 25 days. They have no intention of delivering my order and claim they will not refund because it has been more than 120 days. But when you don't deliver the product that has been ordered, that should not matter. The fact that this service is a scam is all over the internet and I'm ashamed I fell for it.

I was looking for a certified copy of my birth certificate for I9 employment verification (vitalrecordsonline.com). I thought I was looking at a state gov. Site, everything was simple and 5 minutes later I was paying $59.00 5 business days or so I should have my state certified birth cert. A couple hours later my prospective employer gave me the true state government site. 5 minutes later and $15,00 for the certified birth certificate another $5.00 and I can pick it up at the office THE NEXT DAY
Or forget the 5 bucks extra and they will mail it in the same 5 business days. So $20.00 pick up the next day! I sent a request to cancel my order, Vital records_- online.com acknowledged my communication but didn't reply to my request to cancel. My fault I was rattled looking for this quick fix, I found it and it cost me. I bought the other 1 from the state gov site to satisfy the time constraints of my new employer, but spent 59 dollars I didn't have to waste.

Due to Covid 19, I was unable to just go to the clerk's office and pick up the birth certificate my daughter needed to get her drivers permit. I went online and ordered one from vital records. I looked up their "Covid 19 response time". It said 10 to 15 business days. 1 month later, after checking the order status daily and noticing that it seemed to be stuck at the "processing payment" portion, I decided to email them to make sure there wasn't a problem with payment. A couple of weeks later, I received an email stating that due to Covid 19, they could not look into my issue, and just like that, the status of my problem was considered "solved". I again checked the status of my order. They had cancelled it... just cancelled it. No one emailed me to even let me know. Thankfully, the clerk's office is now open, and I can just go there to get it. It will be around $50 cheaper to boot. I would not recommend Vital Records to anyone.

Received nothing after several months so I checked with the city health records and hospital where I was born. They no have no record of your request. Very disappointing I've been scammed

They claim they will get your entire document fast, no! This is a $80 service to fill out paperwork that's IT then they have hidden fees of $25 notary and $25 state fees u don't even know until u pay. I was told I would be emailed immediate my pkg info it was 24 hrs later. Now I have to mail it in to the state still and their is no guarantee when this will arrive. This website is a scam just go to your county clerk and save $100 and the hassle! During a time of Covid this is not the time to be wasting hard earned money.

I used this company, thinking I was getting two copies of my mother's death certificate, they charged $58.00+
What I got was a packet with a form to apply for a death certificate to my state with a fee of an additional $16.00, for one copy.
I made a mistake thinking this company was working through my state, wrong, they are making money off people and then referring them to their own state office. I can go right to my state and they only charge $16.00 for a death certificate. What did this company do with my $58.00?
Stay away from this company, they'll just take your money.
