The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I paid £430 for 2 Adele tickets for Monday 7th March. Was told to collect them at an address that turned out to be residential. We waited for over half an hour and there was no sign of them even existing.
I was so upset I rang the company and it was a recorded message telling me to go on line and when I did it didn't recognise my password.
I rang the MEN arena and got through to Event time where a lovely lady was able to sell me 2 more tickets.
I don't have that sort of money but I really wanted to see Adele and we were already in Manchester.
I have emailed them and they are refusing to refund me and are telling lies saying that they were there when they clearly were not otherwise why would I buy 2 more tickets.
Please don't trust them with any amount of money go to a reputable company.
I had three sales for two of them I sent out the tickets and were delivered for one order I was unable to send out the single ticket and informed them via Twitter direct message and email. I got confirmation email for the order I requested to be cancelled. Event passed and I went to check the payments for the two remaining orders to my horror one of the succesfully delivered orders was cancelled and the no sign of the successfully confirmed cancellation so now they tell me I emailed under this order but cannot provide me with the confirmation email. Yet the entire time via Twitter I only spoke of the single order so now I am out of over $600 us. They never once provided any confirmation just lip service I'm sure they will cone on here and try and twist it but I have the entire proof of our conversations. Save your self the trouble and go with a reputable company.
So brought 4 Adele tickets from viagogo for 1400. Received them last week and they have someone else's nam on them. So phoned up Manchester arena to be told we won't get in because it sounds like fake tickets. I am beyond angry.
Purchased Madonna ticket concern on 8th Jan thru Viagogo value at 488 for standing pen A. As its not a direct ticket seller for the event, understandable there will be nominal fee. But to my horror I was charged 2.5 times then the actual value. Big F pissed off... wrote and got a reply "... it's a market where the value is shown clearly " BULL$#*!! Can't believe it after the booking, bank clearance payment, ticket can only be seen and download after 4 days. Only there and then I found out I totally got scammed.
They are thieves and con men. They take your money in minutes, and when they don't supply your tickets ignore your emails... they need to be stopped. As for the chap who was sent down for threating the boss of viagogo. He was probably at his wits end from getting no anwsers
I ordered last minute tickets for my son and grandsons, 6 and 8 to watch the Sydney Sevens at several times the face value. When ordering the choice was between General Admission (GA) and 'Stand 18+', I chose GA. There was a small print footnote suggesting that some tickets may have age limitations but given the choice mentioned above, it would have been clear to any observer that this only applied to those marked 'Stand 18+'. Other than the choice mentioned, there was no option to order GA tickets suitable for under 18s. The tickets arrived two days before the game and were marked GA 18+, i. E. adults only and were of course useless for my grandkids. Viagogo don't have a 'phone number nor was I was able to trace a 'phone number or any contact details for their local agents, simply a PO box. Web searches revealed other disenchanted customers and possible UK 'phone numbers, all of which had been disconnected. I tried contacting viagogo via their contact form but this proved impossible as I repeatedly got the message that my email address and order number did not agree! I returned the tickets by registered post to the local agents requesting repayment. I've also have sent four emails requesting repayment to an email address that accompanied the viagogo contact form but a fortnight later have received no reply at all from either party. Viagogo seem to be a UK firm domiciled in Switzerland who have scant regard for customer issues or complaints, they just want your money. I fear that I will never have the issue addressed and have two very disappointed grandkids. DO NOT USE.
This company's terms and conditions entitle them to replace the tickets you have contracted to buy with any tickets. They lose interest in the customer as soon as they receive payment.
I received wrong tickets and have been e-mailng for two weeks o one responds... horrible customer service... call me please *******293... Beyoncé Order ID: *******

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DO NOT DELIVER!
I bought two tickets for the ODI England v South Africa 14th Feb 2016. They were a present as part of our trip to South Africa. I received an email on 4th Feb advising all was well and that tickets would be delivered by courier at least 3 days before the match. Then nothing. I started chasing on Thursday 11th. I received a reply saying they were on the case. Then mode of delivery changes to E Ticket. Then nothing. Today the day before the match I received a phone call saying the event organisers had not released all the tickets and their seller was unable to source our tickets! I had no idea they were using bogus sellers... nothing on their web site to suggest a selling chain... I cant say how disappointed we are... this company should be avoided at all costs. They are taking money and not providing the goods... its a scam... we feel cheated... and what should have been a great day out to celebrate our time in South Africa has turned into a disappointed and furious let down. I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE... and judging by other reviews we are not alone. GET THEM OFF THE WEB. THEY ARE USING THE WEB TO CONDUCT FRAUDULANT BUSINESS RIPPING FOLK OFF.
Just to preface this, I NEVER write negative reviews about companies. But my experience with viagogo pushed me to warn others...
I bought two tickets off viagogo for the Champions League match in Madrid for May 15,2015. They were 122 euros each face value and I paid over 300 euros each on viagogo. When we went to enter the stadium with the tickets, apparently two people had already entered the stadium with these tickets. I emailed and called viagogo the next day and was told they would "investigate". After following up numerous times, I kept being told they were still investigating. I followed up again this month (year!) and received a reply that because more than two weeks since the event had passed, the warranty period for filing a complaint had closed and there was nothing they could do.
Their customer service is terrible - they promise a reply within 48 hours of emailing them and I often waited weeks. This was a large sum of money to just throw away (especially when I was a student in a foreign country) because viagogo doesn't want to put in the effort to correct failures in their process.
DO NOT use viagogo. And tell others not to either.
Do not use this company. Wouldn't use this company again, ever. I ordered e-tickets 2 months in advance for a football match in Barcelona. I am from England. I was going to Barcelona solely to watch the football match. I received a number of emails in the weeks leading up to the event stating that i would have the tickets no later than 3 days before. 4 days prior to the event, i receive an email stating: "We are writing to tell you that unfortunately we are no longer able to make your tickets available for download. Your tickets will instead be made available for collection near the venue. We will send you detailed instructions on how and where to collect your tickets a few days before the event." Funnily enough, viagogo, I bought e-tickets so that i wouldn't have the hassle of picking them up while on holiday, yet here i am, 4 days before a holiday, livid because your poor excuse of a company has already ruined my holiday before I've even left the country! How you can allow a seller to put tickets on sale that they do not have is against your strict seller guidelines, you hypocritical company, but its fine, as long as you get your money, its fine, customer service is horrendous, but the company got their fees, thats all that matters. This should not be allowed to happen. Your website states that if you can't provide the ticket then you will provide a replacement, so why did i not receive an e-ticket replacement? Instead you inconvenience me. Then to make things worse, you have to put everything in email, because your poor excuse of a company doesn't have people manning the phone, what a surprise, you must get so much abuse for being a rubbish company that you can't take it verbally. Wow.
After receiving confirmation of my purchase of Italy v Scotland rugby tickets, I went off and booked the hotels, flights etc, they failed to deliver the tickets and just offered a £20 voucher! Weren't prepared to offer replacement tickets, even thought i could see they were selling them on the website. Watch a bunch, useless! Didnt even have the courtesy to call me back which they promised they would
SOLD SOME TICKETS HOWEVER REALISED THEY HAD NAMES ON THEM AND WAS WORRIED PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT WONT BE ABLE TO GET IN. I DID MY BEST TO GET IN TOUCH AND TELL THEM TO CANCEL AS IT WOULD BE A BAD EXPRIENCE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO PAID AND FOR ME. NO REPLY TO MY 10 EMAIL, CALLS AND FACEBOOK MESSAGES.
I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE I CAN DO.
DONT USE THEIR SERVICE DONT!
Placed order to buy Australian open Tennis ticket. Order got cancelled but money debited from my account. Several mails I sent, even after a month, I did not receive my money back. Very frustrating. Order id: ORDER ID

2/23/2016: After going back and fourth, submitting my supporting docs for 5 times, finally I got my money back. Thank you Viagogo.
Ordered tickets for Dynamo magician in oct 2015 and arrived today 4/2/2016( acceptable as they've been delivered) I payed £290 for 2 tickets delivered when the face value of the tickets are £39 each plus £5.50 booking fee each so a total of £44.50 each £89.00 for 2. Don't look like the seats I requested are correct either, what a total rip off, I'm disgusted with viagogo, not a happy customer! I'd never in a million years use this shambles/rip off company again or advise anyone else to use them. I've bought a large number of tickets in the past and never been ripped off. You viagogo are a no go go! RIP OFF B$%#¥€%S
I was charged nearly $100 extra per ticket plus a $60 booking fee. When we went to use them at the event, they tickerts weren't authorised & was unable to attend the event.
I overheard other couples & they had the same issue. We didn't get to see the comedy we had been looking forward to.
Me and my friend had a the confirmed tickets and were not allowed to enter the stadium initially as the tickets were claimed to to be invalid by the gate staff. Later we had to speak with another person sitting at the box office who let us entry. Surprisingly they were unheard about viagogo.
This has been a nightmare. At first when I bought my tickets for an event called Electric Summer I changed my leave to come back a day early for the event. Without any warning the event was moved to a date 2 months later. It was then supposed to take place on the 29th of January 2016. There website advertises that tickets will be available no later than 3 days before the event. As the days ticked by I tried to contact them as I never was issued tickets even though they have had my money for 3 months. I eventually got a single reply assuring me that the tickets would be made available. It is now the day AFTER the advertised event. The event in fact never even took place as advertised yet again, but rather was moved to another venue and a later date (tomorrow). In any event, I still have no tickets. I still have no word from these thieves and the tickets on sale for the real event are almost 50% cheaper at another site. The most frustrating thing is that when you try to get hold of them to find out what is going on you receive an email back telling you that they will be in touch in 48 hours, which doesn't help seeing the event is in 12 hours.
Don't use this website. I will surprised if I get a refund
I travelled all the way from Asia to catch a football game here in Dortmund. The match is this Saturday and I have mentioned before to only deliver to my apartment on the 28th or 29th... The sender actually sent on 23rd and now giving me so much trouble with UPS and suddenly, it's my fault?
I have never encountered such a terrible service before and this is the first. Not to mention that I am not a European to begin with and specially made a itinerary here just to watch this.
Thanks viagogo for spoiling my beautiful trip here in Europe and I can't help it but to say this is totally disappointing at all levels!
Bought tickets for J Kauffmann concert in January, was not notified of cancellation, suffered boats of traveling to Madrid and now struggling to get even the money back.,!
After my first review was published they phoned and confirmed the tickets would be refunded. I just discovered replacement tickets delivered instead to my inbox (I was sure my card account was credited so never checked it then!). I emailed now a question why I still have tickets in my account and if they are valid as viagogo firmly confirmed on the phone refund (after I explained that I couldn't accept the replacement as I am not based in madrid and originally before cancellation of the concert I was supposed to travel there, but since the concert was one year postponed I could no longer plan such a travel and original tickets have full right of redemption) - but even my question was never answered! So I am not sure why I have new tickets in my account for the dates I disagreed with and even if these are valid!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
