Ripped off

Bought tickets (2) for $600 and it turned out tickets only worth 139 each. Never buy tickets from this site. They will ripped you off too.

Booking fee rip off

Booked a ticket to Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival in Bali from Viagogo as the event's 'official partner for international ticket sales' and got slugged IDR300,000 (approx AUD30.00) in booking fees! And that's on top of the 'delivery charge' of nearly $7 even though tickets are PDF, not posted. There was no advice at any point through the booking process about these charges, and I was being rushed through the process with false pop up threats of messages such as 'hurry, only 1 ticket left!' and '37 people are currently viewing these tickets!'.
Use any other booking agent available!

Rip Off - I purchased tickets for Barcelona game on August 2016 ($770), but after payment it had date for April 2017. I contacted them and I told them it was a wrong advertising. They do not want to take the responsaiabikity and asked me to resale tbe ticket through them. They do not want to refund. It is a rip off. They are not trustworthy. As soon as you pay, yiu can assume your money is gone. No support for any false /incorrect tickets.

My girlfriend purchased tickets off Viagogo for the Rugby. The original tickets she purchase were no longer available so they downgraded her with no thought of a refund or compensation. She paid $135 for silver ticketsbut Viagogo swapped these tickets for cheap $45 tickets plus added a booking fee of $30 per ticket. It cost her $165 for a $45 ticket. This company is an utter disgrace. You will not get what you paid for.

It really doesn't get any worse than this.
I purchased great seats for a concert that I've been dying to see for the past couple of years and received tickets that were not as advertised (seats on the ticket were all the way in the back). After attempting to contact Viagogo through the phone number that is nearly impossble to find, they told me to send the tickets back to the seller so they can start looking for "comparable" replacement tickets for me. I called them before sending the tickets back to make sure that they will send me comparable or better seats than what I purchased so that I can be guaranteed to attend the concert. The agent then told me that under the Viagogo guarantee, I will be offered comparable or better seats so do not worry. I later learned that it was not the case at all. After a few days of back and forth emailing and my emails seemingly disappearing into no man's land, Viagogo offered me terrible seats that were not at all comparable to what I had purchased. I could not understand why with so many good seats available, they had to offer me such terrible seats all the way in the back (row Z!). Because they take forever to respond and the entire process took over weeks, all the tickets on Viagogo have now skyrocketed in price. Rest assured that I will never use Viagogo again after this frustrating experience. They ruined the concert that I've been dying to see for ages and a fantastic time I could have with my friends and family. This would never have happened if I had purchased my tickets elsewhere. Steer away from Viagogo.

I repeat, do not use this site. I tried to sell a ticket to an event, received payment, five days after the event, and thought I was done. Then, three weeks later, I got an email saying the purchaser was unable to enter the event and that I would be charged for the amount of the ticket. Now, I also attended the event (with a different ticket), and they would have let almost anyone in, even without a valid ticket, because the security just wasn't very tight. Also, there was no reason the ticket shouldn't have worked anyway. I contacted Viagogo about this, and they did not reply, but CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD 1.5X THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL AMOUNT I RECEIVED. I had received $180 in payment but got charged $270! They never answered my email but simply charged me more. Will never use this site again.

I bought Coldplay ticket several months before in Copenhagen and travel so far abroad to watch the concert. When i wanted to enter the concert, the barcode pf my ticket already use with someone else, which is my ticket is Fake! I tried to email them but no response at all. I bought the ticket for $239, triple than price normal.
This website so FAKE! Never use them again..

Dear ticket seller/buyer,

If I can give you one advice never use this site. I tried to sell soccer tickets for the euro cup. They ripped me of with the prices of my tickets approx 250 EURO, in addition they charged my bank card for 40 euro. Since I had the contact details of the buyer, I contacted them. They told me they received the tickets and paid Viagogo, sending their bank statement and Viagogo confirmation. Viagogo told me that they could not track my shipment on their website, hence I will not get my money nor my tickets, but a fine. I told them that this is unacceptable, and they should then call the buyer, or do something. They didn´t do anything except taking both the money of the buyer, my money (for the fine), and my tickets. It is crazy. I am suing them.

I brought two lots of tickets within a week of each other. The first was for boxing told that there was a problem with the supplier but offered me alternative tickets which I accepted within minutes I received another phone call again problem with tickets eventually after sending several emails which were not answered I managed to get through to an actual person this was after numerous telephone calls they did manage to sort it out. I also brought Beyoncé tickets for my daughters 21 birthday the tickets arrived but we're no in the area I brought the seats were in the gods. After many telephone calls I was advised I had to send the tickets back to the seller. Unfortunately they were in Ireland so I had to arrange a courier to send them back or there would be no refund. I was so angry it was so stressful on both occasions and yes we didn't get to go to see Beyoncé as they could not match any tickets for the price I paid. But what really got to me I received emails saying they still had Beyoncé tickets for sale the morning of the concert!

The worst website I've ever dealt with. A few weeks ago I bought tickets to ufc 200 in Vegas. Instantly recieved the confirmation email which said I would receive the e-tickets no later than 3 days before the event. So this week comes and I travel across the United States to Vegas with 200 being the mainstay of my trip here. 3 days before passes and no tickets in my email. I message them and almost a full day later they first reply giving me some bulls*** response how they will email me the tickets as soon as they get them from the seller. Then about 20 minutes later I get another customer service message saying they aren't able to fulfill my order because the seller did not have the tickets and offered me similar tickets which I accepted. Then in a message they thanked me for accepting the tickets and said I would receive the e-ticket as soon as the seller sends it. Another full day goes by and I message viagogo about 3 or 4 times asking for my tickets because it's two days before the event. Finally early this morning (1 day before the event) I get another bulls*** email saying that the ufc probably hasn't realeased the tickets yet (total lie) and that I should receive them as soon as possible. Guess what, 20 minutes later I receive another email saying that they again are not able to fulfill my order on the replacement tickets and are processing a refund. Complete and utter joke and a huge waste of time and energy. They are impossible to contact and lie to you constantly! This site should be shut down. Pay the extra money to buy from a reputable ticket site, I had to do so a day before the event, however I got my e-ticket instantly no games like viagogo! Don't give this site your money.

Purchased Stevie Wonder tickets three months in advance. Told they were no longer available 72hrs before the concert. But what's this? Stevie Wonder tickets still available on the viagogo website at twice the price. An absolute rip off. Steer clear...

Have used them a few times and things were OK despite their exorbitant fees. But, yesterday bought an electronic ticket to a concert taking place tomorrow Sunday July 3rd. My payment was made, received order con firmation but no ticket! Contacted Customer Service by email (no active number available) and after 24 hours got some stupid person respond in automatic- stating that my tickets would be received once the seller mails them! It's an electronic ticket, the concert is tomorrow, and there is no postal delivery at the weekend!
Have called their UK number multiple times from overseas where I am, and all I get is some recorded message that I am in some (scrambled) queue and that I should consider to call later! Will never use this site again. When things go wrong they aren't there to sort it out although the problem is at their end. ALready dreading the fight to get my money back!

It was the MOST STRESSFUL experience ever.
After buying overpriced Coldplay tickets 7 MONTHS earlier and booking an expensive trip abroad to attend the concert... after it was clear that the seller wouldn't dispatch his tickets and being promised till 2 days before not to worry by the most APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE (who never replied to any of the several emails and not reachable through phone whatsoever unless you trick them by getting through the sales department)... NOT JUST WE NEVER RECEIVED TICKETS but we just got an automated email only the day before the show to inform us that they were sorry that couldn't provide us other tickets even though they were still selling some on their website... but obviously they were more expensive and COULDN'T LOSE THE PROFIT trying to satisfy customers that advanced £361 for 7 months (a bank would charge you interests!)and spend a fortune to travel to London. They also refunded the money only a week later after the show. If it wasn't for us desperately trying to get in touch with them, they NEVER at ANY POINT tried to make contact for updates or making an effort to rectify the situation... NO SUPPORT AT ALL! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE IT!

I bought tickets to Australia v England in Sydney in good faith. I turned up with my family to the game to be turned away because the seller had refunded the tickets so what I had purchased was useless. The name of the seller was Chris Hrones and I have been defrauded by viagago. Do not use this website it is theft

I didn't receive my tickets in Romania (even if I paid for transport), then they gave me replacement tickets which were on the last row (even if they were supposed to be at least as good as my original tickets), I had to go and take the new tickets (they didn't want to send them at my UK adress) and I didn't receive my delivery money. I also spent 3 hours at phone because all the e-mails from them were useless.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM VIAGOGO!

They sent tickets for the wrong event... After nearly two weeks of trying to get them to fix it, all I get is the oops reply. No answer to my request for a refund, with 48 hrs left I have no choice but to buy new tickets.

I ordered tickets, but being my first time at this thought everyone of the ticket marketplace were the same. Very nieve. I thought it a lot of money but no experience of costs so just thought that was the price ot service. How wrong I was. Taken for a fool is how I feel having paid almost £ 100 pounds over others. Tried to get a refund was told they could sell them but even take commission on that. Credit card company could not help out. So stuck with two very expensive tickets and a very upset husband. Who is annoyed at my nievity. They were a treat as my husband follows Brian Cox on tv.

Let's all do something about it that, maybe a class action if any body knows how to do it.
First of all write about it where ever you can, facebook etc...
