I purchased tickets for a FiveFingerDeathPunch concert in Portland, Oregon on Oct 16 it was canceled around Oct 1st, I talked to them and they said I would get my money within 60 days, here it is almost 4 and a half months later and I still haven't been paid, and now they won't even estimate how much time before they pay me

I purchased tickets to an event on this site only to find them moments later on Tickemaster at half the price. But don't think about cancelling a purchase or getting a refund. All sales are final, No refunds. Customer service only can read a script - in broken English. I'll never use this site again. Ever.

I bought tickets for a festival due to take place in 2021 from Viagogo. I have just realised I have been charged double the face value (when you take all the "extra charges" into account) which is a grossly unfair and unreasonable premium. I requested a refund and they are refusing to refund me. They really shouldn't be allowed to do this to consumers. I would not recommend that anyone deal with this company.

I am honestly surprised!

Here a lot of random places and dates, but the tl; dr is that they have been somewhat efficient and very committed to getting me my money back.

I live in Hong Kong, and I -VERY RELUCTANTLY- bought tickets in July 2019 for a concert that was going to be in Japan in March 2020 (Note: I bought them from the page, not from a random user). Because of COVID, it got cancelled. Knowing that they were second-hand tickets I had little to no faith in getting the money back. However, they sent me an email immediately asking for the tickets back and saying they'd send me the money. They gave me an address in Taiwan, but because of COVID and bureaucracy, I needed the name and ID number of the person who was gonna receive them. I didn't have it and it was the last day of their deadline to return them, so I gave up again (in my head, it was money spent almost a year ago and it was gone forever).
A week later they called me and told me they were curious about what had happened. I explained the situation and actually thought the tickets were lost. They told me to look for them and gave me a new address to send them to, now in Japan.
I was finally able to do it and they offered me either credit or the money back in my account. I couldn't believe they were gonna refund the whole thing, no service or transaction charge whatsoever.

Admittedly, I did have to navigate through a somewhat confusing webpage at times, but I am happy to inform you that 13 months after getting the tickets I got all my money back!

I honestly rarely write reviews, but they made such a good job, and they actually made the effort to pay me back and called me, so I thought I would return the favour. Also, every person that contacted me either through the phone or email was super kind and nice!

Scam

Do not buy tickets through this company. My event was moved from Las Vegas NV to Arlington TX due to covid. They have refused to refund my $$ for the venue in Las Vegas. They keep telling me they have not been officially notified that the event has changed venues. YET they are selling tickets on their site for Arlington. Go figure That little lesson cost me $600

Whatever you do do not buy tickets through this company. The tickets are overpriced and they do not have permission to resell tickets for lots of the venues. This means that even if you are lucky to actually get your tickets, you may be refused admittance to the venue. If you are in the UK and book tickets and want a refund, I would suggest you go on Victims.of Viagogo and download the template letter that's on there. I used this and got a refund after months of emailing

Scam - stay away

Sure. Order tickets here that you never receive. If the Concert is put off to a new date ( like mine was) good luck. No refund. They won't refund you. Not only that but they expect you to accept the new date of the new venue / concert. What a joke. I am out over $800. I am currently consulting with my family of attornys of which some are international. I want my money back.

Company is a rip off

My event got canceled in March. I requested a refund. I got an email that said it may take several months to get my refund due to COVID 19. Nearly 5 months later, I have not received my refund. I have contacted them 3 times and each time I get a form letter that says it will take several months due to COVID-19. Definite rip off, probably will never get my 1100 dollars back.

We had purchased tickets to Cher in Charleston, SC in March of 2020. Covid hit, and all shows cancelled or "postponed" so they say. We called in regards to getting a refund, like so many others. And they refused to help. The advised it's postponed and they will announce new dates. No one is performing in 2020, and we purchased tickets for this show, because it worked for our scheduled, we can't commit to 2021, and its not even a sure thing Cher will come back to Charleston. So many people are hurting now, with out jobs and bills piling up. We just want our money back, so we can put it to good use. I will say, even if they choose to do the right thing - which I doubt they will... WE WILL NEVER USE Viagogo AGAIN! EVER. I will do everything I can to make sure others know about this. This is the time for companies to shine for doing the right things in a time of crisis. Viagogo, you failed.

Purchased 2 tickets to Bad Religion after the show at our venue canceled they said it wasn't just postponed but the venue already issued refunds after the band pres release the entire tour for 2020 is canceled I still can't get a refund

The concert I bought tickets for was "postponed" due to Covid. Ticketmaster is giving refunds because a new date has not been set. Viagogo refuses to refund. Enclosed is ticketmaster email.

I spent nearly 700 pound on tickets for this year, the event has been cancelled but the tickets are still available for NEXT YEAR! I requested for a refund and they told me i could not have one as the event as been postponed till NEXT YEAR! I told them i can not attend as i am not in this country at this time and they still rejected, i think this is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WEBSITE, would rather burn it.

Never ever use this site for any ticket purchase purposes. They are a complete scam with no consumer protection plan with no legit communication/ticket delivery methods.
I am in the process of reporting this company as a consumer fraud business within the USA and also for international authorities.

AVOID at all costs.

In spite of the fancy website and promises of protecting your purchase and having refund policies these are all WORTHLESS. If an event gets cancelled - even formally and officially - they will still refuse to refund and you face a long uphill battle getting your money back.

DO NOT USE VIAGOGO - they are not an honest or legitimate business and will take your money and run. You have been warned - I saw all the bad reviews before I made my purchase and now wish I had taken heed as all the people across the internet telling me they were a bad company to give money to were absolutely correct.
