I stand by my evaluation of the bag's condition. No wear, no stains, inside and outside in excellent condition. Vestaire performs inaccurate bag inspections. Additionally, please remove my bag from your website advertising that it was "SOLD" when you cancelled the sale and I removed it from your marketplace.
I sent a bag to them that was sold and they told the buyer the bag was not as described so the buyer cancelled the sale. Then I get an email from them saying the bag had wear, which it did not. They claimed that the bag interior, which is absolutely untrue. Sellers are made to feel like liars who are trying to cheat buyers. The bag is as I described and Vestaire is seriously delusional. DO NOT SELL THERE.
I fully understand that this site is advertised as selling luxury brands, but my issue lies with their extra fees. I'm a teen, and after using the price filter option and searching some non-luxury brands, I found so many cute and affordable clothes that I was extremely excited to buy. However, they charge a $15 authentication fee for 99% of the items on there. They also charge an average of $20 shipping for each individual item. Their explanation: so that they can ship you your product immediately without waiting for other items in the order to complete the (mandatory) "authentication" process. I personally don't care about brands and would, without hesitation, wait a longer period if it meant I could pay reduced shipping for an entire order. I would also forgo the authentication. However, there is no alternative. It's pretty crushing when you realize that your total order is absolutely unaffordable due to these "quality" fees. I really wish that they made some changes that made the items on their site more accessible to people who don't make as much, such as cheaper alternatives to these fees. For example, waiting longer for your order for cheaper because everything is shipped together, or opting out of the authentication process (their "direct shipping" is offered by very few sellers).
First the good: fast process. Then the bad and the ugly: brown envelope = mis-shaped and wrinkled jacket, invoice says taxes included: I had to pay taxes. Finally color of jacket does not match photo. Customer "support" says "just resell it". My time to try to resell at a price higher than I paid to include extra payments plus commission to VC: very unlikely. Never again.
Don't recommend using this platform at all. Shocking customer services and totally incompetent!

I checked with the seller if she canceled and she said that she didn't even know I bought the purse. They took the money though. I contacted them and they said it was there mistake. I have not gotten my refund even tho over 2 weeks has passed since the refund was said to be made. I bought a bag that the seller never sent. I sold an Item in fab/22 after posting it with Hermes, the item got lost by currier.
I tried and contacted numerous times VC team via email and chat. No help whatsoever. I was told item is still on the way last time I talked to someone.
As it's 3rd time this year this happened, I started taking screenshots of any communication for proof. Lucky I did cos Vest. C deleted my sale of my account after inquiring about resolution and payment. I find this extremely low move. I have proof of all. I lost £40 sale and ap dress as this never was returned to me. This is not a company that you can count on. They are playing very dirty and slightly illegal game here. Horrible customer service, email no longer works, so really not that easy to get hold of someone to complain. Noone reply to anything. Of something goes wrong, it's on you really. I will get my money back, I won't allow this discussion company to use me like this. It's been 3rd month now. No resolution or help at all. Horrific. I posted it on 26/02/22 and this item never Vas delivered. Noone is helping to resolve. I feeling like fighting with the wall here

I ordered a pair of FP boots from them, and within minutes I noticed there's an issue with the size, so try to contact the buyer and a message popped up saying I cannot.
I sent the company an email and don't here back. There's no cancellation option( I've even googled how to; didn't find it). I finally reached them via chat and they told me they've already shipped the item ( even though the order was placed at 4 a. M London time). I filed a complaint with Paypal and hopefully, it will be resolved.

I've read reviews and there was a pattern where their purchases would be constantly cancelled by the app and it happens to me with EVERY PURCHASE. When I finally made a successful purchase and it was being shipped out, it said it was delivered but there was no package. So I filled out the form to request them to investigate and I get no answer regarding whether I'm getting a refund or not. $500+ WASTED. I'm still waiting for at least a response. They lose your packages and don't do crap about it. Each interaction I have with their "team" they give very poor effort and don't help you. This company doesn't even have a number to call, so that was already a red flag to begin with. I am waiting for my refund and this was the last straw for me, I am never using this app again. DO NOT USE THIS APP. They will waste your time and stall until you give up.

I sold my brand new watch through the site, they rejected my item saying it was not exportable., whatever that means but the worse part was that my watch come back with broken box and damaged so now I can't sell it a new Watch. First, the buying process was super user friendly and quick. My item was delivered in a short amount of time without any interuption. I used the standard shipping option for authentication. Overall, it was a great experience!
DO NOT BUY/SELL on Vestiaire Collective. I sold my item on 10/30/21. VC emailed me and I sent the item to the Buyer 11/1/21 using the address provided to me from VC. On VCs website I notified them that the package had been sent and provided the USPS Tracking No. I contacted the Buyer on 11/9/21 to let them know their package was on it's way. For some unknown reason from the date the package was picked up at the P. O. 11/1/21 it was held in NJ for 8 days. I received another email that the item had been Authenticated. The buyer did not receive the package until 11/10/21. I asked VC when would I receive payment. They told me after they rec'd confirmation from the Buyer, I would receive payment, but I should wait to hear from them. They contacted the Buyer who said they had no problems with the item. The next email said that payment had been triggered and to expect any day. After waiting several days, I contacted VC again to find out the status of payment. They said the Buyer had cancelled the order and had been refunded the money owed to me. I have sent attachments of my usps tracking receipts, copies of emails from Customer Service, chats conversations. They have not sent me back my Balenciaga Boots worth $400 to me. Nor paid me because the Buyer decided to keep the boots. All I've gotten from VC is they are working on returning the item to me or getting back the refund they sent to the Buyer. I don't care what they do, all I want is either payment for my sale; or return my merchandise to me.
I wish I had known there were so many complaints against this consignment site. I will NEVER use them again, and I advise you to go elsewhere. You'll never be compensated!

I have made several purchases via this website some through direct shipping from my country and some international from Europe, my concern is the international transactions when a European seller sends a USA buyer an offer the amount can secretly go up, the price increase is not disclosed in an invoice to the seller or buyer. I am surprised the company is not under investigation for this unethical practice. I personally ask each seller from foreign countries to verbally disclose the price of the offer. I have noticed that all transactions are higher than the actual asking price.
The authentication and shipping are very high, This does not include the sellers fee. So the company has UNDISCLOSED fees plus notoriously high charges. It took me over one month to receive 40.00 dollar refund for hidden fee that was not disclosed in the invoice. A customer service representative told me this was a glitch in the system. Unfortunately this glitch appears in all the offers I have received since. I hope someone investigates the company. I also noticed the App Store has poor reviews but google for some reason very good. This seems a little suspicious to me but I have not looked into this. My biggest concern is secretly adding to each offer at least 10 percent. I would never expect something like this from a resell platform.
