DO NOT USE VERIZON
October 26, 2023

Do not get service through Verizon. I had to take my debit card off of automatic payments because they were trying to pull my payment a week early. THEY do not tell you that, there is interest charges every month so your payment will increase depending on when in the month your payment is due. I took my debit card off so they wouldn't pull early. They put a judgement on my account and tried to make me pay the amount in full for three lines. Totaling $1336 98. They had to make a whole new account to fix it. I tried changing my phone number and they said it was a breach if contract because I changed my damn phone number. DO NOT USE VERIZON also you can take a screen shot of anything in the my verizon app either. Hmmm I wonder why but I took a picture with another phone!. It's proof of my bill

Verizon is SHADY AF
October 25, 2023

Ok, the new deal was that if you trade in your old phone you would get 1000 off new iphone 15. I thought OK, but this meant I had to change carriers. Then while at the store, where I started to feel like I was dealing with a used car store, I find out after all this is wrapped up that the credit of 1000 is APPLIED OVER THREE YEARS, however you should be aware that they will make you pay taxes on the full amount up front, as though no credit would had ever been applied. Of course verizon doesn't cushion any of that. I pay 181 and some change to get out of the store. NOT EVEN A MONTH later I am hit with a pay now bill of 158.50! Then, when I look at the online account it says the next bill, after paying this one, is in 4 days or so, and will be 116 and change. I was paying only around 77 month with my old carrier. I still have 6 days left of the month that I can return this and try to find my sanity in all of this DECEPTION. I long for the days when things were upfront, you could trust people with their word and companies truly CARED about their customers. I would not recommend this company if it were the last one on earth. You can do better, save more and have better service. I hope this helps someone save themselves from this nonsense. Good luck.

Holy $#*!ing $#*! you suck. No wonder you're losing out to T-Mobile despite taking on Sprint. You suck and should have been left as the two companies after the AT&T antit-trust. Break up. I swear you should have been broken up further.

Poor customer relations
October 24, 2023

I had Tracfone and could not log in to my account. When I called, you get India, they will not transfer you to the US representatives. All problems started when Verizon bought Tracfone. Avoid both companies.

Bill started at $114.00, moved up to $351.00, then $1300.00 in a little over a month. Agents and managers are disrespectful and do not state the truth. Fighting the charges. Do NOT ever switch to Verizon. I would rate zero stars if possible. Yankton, SD at 3100 Broadway is horrible.

They offer you a free tablet for 10.00 a month. Then they charge you almost 30.00 a month for it, they is NO escape from the fee. I was lied to, They said 10 a month, they have been charging me just under 30 a month for it. SCAM. Don't fall for it, they lie…They will do nothing about it either, your stuck paying….

Worse experience ever
October 19, 2023

Transferred from T-Mobile to Verizon, believing Verizon would be better. But, as soon as I got the phones the service was not good, could only get 2G most of the time. I returned the phones and paid the restocking fee. But, I received phone calls and bills in the mail saying I owe money for the phones and that they are not showing the phones were returned. I called many times providing the tracking numbers on the returned phones but as of 4 months later they say I still owe for the phones and that they are still not showing the phones were returned. Their customer service apparently does not keep records of previous calls or contacts their offices where phones were returned. I don't understand how they remain in business with such a bad customer service.

Worst Customer Service
October 14, 2023

I have one line unlimited data, on October 1,2023 I paid $180. By October 13,2023 they shut my cell phone for non payment. Now Verizon keeps begging for a payment and I keep telling them we're done, close the account. Try to find a close the account option on MyVerizon.

DON'T WASTE your money
October 11, 2023

Poor Customer Service Verizon! I left Metro PCS for this? Going back as soon as I can...I came in the store to purchase one type of phone. Salesman was able to convince me into getting another phone instead; stated the one I wanted wasn't in store. Not till later I realized I was paying more that I originally planned. Phone had issues within 1st 3 months and I was given a replacement free of charge. Now replacement phone will not keep charge, and I'm being told I have to pay to get the phone repaired. I asked for a replacement since the issue is not my fault, phone is kept in great condition. Was told since the warranty has expired I will have to pay, however customer service rep won't give me a price range on repairs. Phone isn't keeping charge and loses the charge it manages to get whenever I unlock it to do anything. What a MAJOR WASTE of money. Why give your customers a hard time, when you can treat them good and have loyal customers for a lifetime? Your loss Verizon. Leaving your company at the first opportunity, which at this point has to be when the phone is paid of, regardless if phone still works or not. They are not offering a replacement phone as an option. Metro PCS, I'm coming back home; regretful that I left...

Representative said I could transfer from one carrier to Verizon and get a new iPhone 15. So far 8 hours spent on phone with customer service 2 store visits, a cancellation of my previous provider and no new iPhone. Couldn't connect my old phone to account and still without a phone to use on a line that is already on my bill. Customer service and supervisors have been no help at all. Issue still not resolved. Can't even go back to my old carrier with my phone number. Worst experience ever

You pay all this money for Phillies baseball. Now that the Phillies have clinched the wildcard and are in the playoffs, you can't watch the most important moments that you been waiting and paying for. The games are now on a different pay station (what a shock) and you would now have to pay another fee for another pay station miraculously not on your plan (what a shock as well). What do you do? Call Verizon naturally. Naturally their response was you can't change your channel lineup, you can only change your plan. I've paid them to deliver Phillies baseball and they don't deliver, but we are paying them for this non-delivery.

Go Elsewhere
October 8, 2023

I am on an unlimited plan with a locked in rate. Been a customer for 9 years. All of a sudden they are jacking up my "locked in" rate. When I was going to another carrier they sent me an e mail that for being a "great customer" they would give me a $10 credit for 12 months. The $10 credit only equals 2 dollars off of my monthly plan. Do they really believe that the customer is that stupid that we can not do the math. Go elsewhere.

Scammed!
October 7, 2023

Don't switch to Verizon! I got scammed at the store. I guess the two crosses around the sales rep's neck were not enough to absolve him of his daily sins of lying.
I was with Sprint/T Mobile for 18 years and when Verizon advertised new iPhone "on us" with trade in, I decided to check it out. I brought my T Mobile bill and showed the sales rep Wesley. He Said he could not match but would come close ($18 dollars difference). With the additional perk, the price would be about the same. This was after he went in the back and talked to his manager Lynn for approval. He told me not to pay attention to the amount on the agreement because of credits and discounts it would be the price. Sadly, it was not. I tried to talk to the manager and she did not care saying she did not know what we talked about. I called customer service and they said I could cancel but because I had already traded in my phones, they were officially property of Verizon. I am now paying $80 more than I was at T mobile for the same service and will have to for the next 3 years. Verizon truly cares more about the bottom line than customers but then sadly isn't that the way of the world these days. Don't be fooled by Verizon. There are better deals out there.
