This company bites, I changed my bill date from the 11th to the 2nd, to fit my paydays, now they won't cancel my account and refund my payment not due to the 11th, after I made it on the 3rd, and want to go to another company. BOOOOOOO
Been on the phone & my computer for the past 45 minutes, trying to get help for a non-standard issue (ensuring service has been deactivated on lost phone...phone was already replaced by Asurion). I can't reach a live person no matter what I do. Their automated POS "customer service" (LOL) interface just goes round and round (since my request is non-standard) and/or disconnects me.
In desperation, I called the sales line and entered new service. Of course, *then* I instantly reach a live person. I explain what I'm going through and ask her help in getting a person who can help me. She says, "sure, one moment" and dumps me right back into the interface.
Once I get this issue resolved, I'm changing services. What a worthless hellhole this company is.
I have had so many issues about over charges. I hate it, unfortunately I don't have options but I wish I could change to another company. Every time that I have to call them, I have to spend at least an hour and still I can't get a solution, they always find a way to keep taking our money. Finally, you give up because they never give you a proper response or solution.
Verrozon has quite possible the worst customer service on the planet after being on hold for 15 minutes person who answers the phone asks my info says she can help then puts me on hold, for fifteen mins and disconnects the phone no call back
I think that the people that answer the calls, all they want is to kill time. I called them like 6 times (because they never solved the problem), 3 of which they hung up and other 3 they just put you in hold for like 45 minutes, coming back like every 10 min saying "we're just verifying your account, thanks for your patience" and then apologizing they couldn't verify the account and suggesting to wait 3 days before calling back. Completely useless. After this experience I will NEVER want to have to deal with them. If there was a 0 stars option I'd choose that.
The people on the CS team can't comprehend anything, they don't listen and just follow a prompt.
I spent 30 minutes trying to make them know I got a FEDEX note about a missed package and the CS guy kept trying to send me a box so I can return that...package to them. Dude I told you 5 times that I have not RECEIVED the package, so how can I send something that I have not received?
They are beyond frustrating
I've been waiting 5 months for a promotion to kick in on the new Google Pixel 7 Pro I bought on a trade-in. Called my local store and store rep David went all out to get that promotion executed by Verizon. I have always found Verizon helpful.
Customer service doesn't relay consistent messages. Hard to get answers. Constantly requires hours on the phone to get things handled. Multiple scenarios have happened like this that make me regret signing up with them. Lies from the rep that originally sells you in the store. Random fees constantly monthly. I hated sprint but atleast the bill was always the same each month. Told me if I cancel wifi service due to moving I would need to pay for iPad upfront for $700 remaining balance. Absolutely ludicrous. Would not recommend!
This corporation should be ashamed of themselves. They sold my husband a very pricey phone and upgraded plan under false pretenses. We were told the phone upgrade would get us the NFL Sunday ticket. But when we tried to set it up now told we wouldn't be eligible because we already have a high plan! This is a crap corporation!
I ordered wifi threw Verizon when I ordered it I was suppose to get a Xbox card n a 200 dollar home depo card I've paid my bill they came giving me the run around about redeeming the home depo card but try to ofer me a 200 dollar Verizon card tht I wasn't interested in, it's messed up when they lie about giving u smth n never do I will never get anything from Verizon they been rip offs for as long had I known first off wifi is 99 bucks a month which is crazy to me when u can get 9.95 internet threw xfinity like it's messed up I had plans for tht gift card like buying light stuff for my house it's is messed up they lie to get a customer and I am very upset
I have been a faithful Verizon customer for many years, I not only have the wireless service, but I also have the Home FIOS package. Much to my dismay Verizon's quality in products and services has dramatically declined in the last three years. Several of my colleagues have switched from Verizon to T-Mobile, which is something I would've never imagined considering in a million years. Verizon's customer service has always been a nightmare to deal with and has gotten so much worse that I don't even want to make a call…I highly recommend looking elsewhere for cellular phone and home Internet service.
Verizon said this would not affect my credit. THEY LIED.
Earlier this year I switched from Verizon to AT&T, as AT&T had much better pricing and the exact same service as far as I could tell. Because LG had stopped making phones, when my previous LG stopped working properly, I had to switch to a Samsung. As we all know, that is expensive, and I arranged to have that added to my monthly bill to make payments. At the time I got the new Samsung, I had no idea I was going to switch providers. After switching, Verizon notified me that the full balance of $912.25 was due to pay off my Samsung. Unable to make a one-time payment, I asked if I could make monthly payments to pay it off. The Verizon representative told me that would be no problem. They went through the process and gave me the website on which I could go and make my monthly payments, which I did on time every month for a couple of months. I watch my credit rating very closely and I asked if it would affect my credit. I was told it would not. That representative and Verizon lied. Within about 3 months, I received notification that my account had been submitted to a collections company. Verizon reported me to the credit reporting agencies, even though their representative said they would not. Verizon Lied! My credit rating took a big hit
Now, when I call Verizon and try to speak to somebody about why they lied and sent me to a collections company, I'm unable to get through and am automatically referred to that collection company. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING Verizon TELLS YOU! IF THEY LIE ABOUT ONE THING, THEY WILL LIE ABOUT ANYTHING. DO NOT TRUST Verizon.
Ever since I had my first cellphone, I have been using Verizon. A month ago, I started to look a discount from Verizon, after receiving multiple e-mail offers from Verizon to replace my ageing phone. The experience with Verizon, online, on the phone, at a local store is unsettling and terrifyingly bad. This experience immediately prompted me to switch to another big carrier. First, the e-mail offers is a scam for the bulk part. There is no sure answer and deadline with it. Customer service on the phone claims they have expire despite it was a only a few days old. Verizon online stores is a nightmare. It makes all the good discounts until the very last steps where those offers are removed without explanations. They are counting on a customer to click Submit without reading it further. Customer service phone support is beyond pale. The reps are rude, the phone departments kick you around with transfers. I heard their unrelated talks over the phone while on hold. Lastly, the wireless coverage has gone downhill a lot. Once I switched to a new carrier (ATT), the difference from every corner and service, made me regret why I haven't switched long long ago. On this path, Verizon will tank in a few years. It is a despicable company in its current shape.
This company is not to be trusted. They sold me new accounts telling me that there would be no early termination penalty. Now that I have deactivated my account, they are not only charging me $188 early termination but they continue to tack on erroneous charges even though the account is deactivated. They are also saying there is nothing they can do about the charges because the account is deactivate - yet they continue to add charges. All the while, not allowing me access to see the bill without charging me to mail me a bill. How is this legal?
2 months in, 1 signal bar at my business, 20 calls to customer service many promises still no network extender in 15 days we can switch back to tmobile.Pathetic
Should be illegal they are absolute crooks. In my experience 1 of 10 representatives actually has anything useful to add. Ultimately they give you the run around till your so frustrated that you don't want to deal with them anymore.
After multiple calls they continue to send mail to my dead mother. They make her offers, invite her to come back, etc. It is painful to have to keep receiving this mail. It is a huge waste of paper. I have been waiting for my circumstances to change so I can afford to go back to Verizon. However I doubt that will happen. Today I made a last call attempt and waited for a manager forever. Giving up on Verizon after being a lifelong customer for over 2 decades. It might seem stupid to give up good service over this. However I like to surround myself with people and companies who care. I've had great luck with my T-Mobile home Internet so I will try them for my new cell service. Wishing you well. Shirley's daughter.
While trying to become a customer of Verizon it took 10 people...yes 10 people... to attempt to resolve an issue, which has NOT been resolved. I was told that it would be resolved in 24 hrs. Yet when I contacted this company 48 hrs. Later, was told 7-10 business days. Very glad that I have dodged this particular bullet and saved myself future interaction with this "service provider".
If anyone reads this...DO NOT use this company. Your time will be wasted without apology, and it will be sweep under a rug as if you were in the wrong to begin with.
Tdlr since I'm so sick and tired of this garbage company. Service ALWAYS goes out, maybe 5+ times a week. No service for hours and it'll be my home internet as well so I'll literally be completely disconnected from the world. Prices are outrageous, and reps are below any standard of the modern world. Just go with visible or boost and save he headache I promise their service will not disappoint. Same I'll be doing here soon since Verizon thinks we won't leave
Big shout out to my representative Vic! He assisted me in a such a timely manner. He sat on the phone with patience and made sure my problem was token care of. My experience with Verizon is going well! Thanks!
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
