POOR SERVICE, POOR COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. CLERKS IN MEXICO, PHILLIPPINES, COLUMBIA. HOW PATHETIC IS THIS?
I HAVE BEEN HUNG UP ON 7 TIMES, NO ONE CARES. THEY ALL GET PAID EVEN IF THE SERVICE IS POOR
Kathy of the Order Placement Team Had the temperament to put up with me and
Walk me through ever step from "hello to good-by". Thank you Kathy.
We switched from another carrier to Verizon and were told our final bill would be reimbursed with a prepaid visa. Except it has been almost a year now that we have been with Verizon and they still have not reimbursed us. Every document we sent for the submission requirements came back invalid 4 times. Finally I spoke to someone that was very helpful and I was told what to submit. Now I am being told that there won't be any reimbursement for my line because I exceeded the amount of my trade in value that was in the terms and conditions. Even though I was told by every representative I spoke to that we would be reimbursed. So now I owe $900 for both lines to our previous carrier, been sent to collections, and still owe Verizon my normal monthly bill.
Verizon does not stand by their word or promotions and it's all a scam.
Yes, they are higher than the rest, but the customer service is 2nd to none. Phone came by the next day. Packaged very well, and they helped me set it up. Quality phones, just wish the prices were better.
Please continue this very good work... Hope you continue to drive the organization for years to come to far more glory
Either their transfer program is a scam or, they have no idea what they are doing. 4 phone calls and 2 visits to Verizon and I cannot return my phones. They say they will send a box and a month later and 4 phone calls no box and now the store will not take them back. So guess what, no reimbursement for Sprint. Just awful!
I have returned 2 devises do Verizon after I have picked them up in Germany. I returned them promptly and guess what they never gave me a credit for both of them because I did not return them on timely manners. I have to pay now $600 for them! Stay away from Verizon
If I had known my landline telephone would only last for an hour during a power outage I would have never fallen for this trap. Call to cancel landline phone to save money and the bill went up. Technician that installed unit drilled into wall and through electrical supply needing electrician to restore power by cutting hole into my ceiling to restore power. Keep getting upgrades new dvr box, wireless tower. How about some new remote controls? Had to look up on YouTube on how to silence annoying alarm that would go off at 2am warning you to replace backup battery for landline telephone. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and purchase an Amazon Firestick and set yourself free from overpriced cable TV.
I tried a Samsung phone and returned it to the A Wireless Store (Verizon) within 2 days. I agreed to pay the $35 restocking fee, but they also charged me a $20 activation fee. Then there was a screen cover that was drop shipped to me. When I finally got it in the mail on Dec. 14, I tried to return it to the store. They would not take it back or credit my account. I had to file a complaint through my own credit card. Overall, the customer service was despicable. Please avoid this store and save yourself the hassles I endured.
Liked it and really enjoyed all products. Will keep buying!
For 3+ years I had been carefully saving voicemails from my mom who died 2 yrs ago of severe alzheimer's, 6 months after she lost her ability to communicate. Recently I had decided to switch to a different, more affordable carrier (Consumer Cellular - 5 points!) and had gone to the Verizon store to pay off my phone so I could switch. I had had only one question for them - "would I lose anything on my phone?" The employee who had been introduced to me as being in training reassured me, saying "oh no, you won't lose anything." Fast forward to the next day - imagine my horror when I checked my voicemail box only to find that after carefully pressing 9 to save for almost 4 years, they had been deleted in a Verizon Guillotine Instant! It felt like her ashes had been stolen from me - all the grief of her death came rushing back like a tidal wave...
Shame on you Verizon, Megalomaniacal Vampire of Capitalism! I hope you choke on Yahoo!
I was basically accused of theft! This is incredible. On the 20 th of September I went in to this store to simply exchange a charging cable for my "Verizon" Elliptical tablet which I purchased from Verizon. I was met at the door by BRIAN, (Mr. Personality)! What a $#*! face he wore, so anyways I explained my problem and that the cable wasn't charging my tablet. After 15 minutes of waiting I asked him "what was taking so long to exchange a cable?", So he mumbled back "just be patient".! I said what? And he didn't answer. And then it began. So, Mr. Personality and I exchanged some words and then he calls his "General Manager" JIM (Chizzle Chest). So, JIM walks over all pumped up, chest all out, like he was expecting me to be intimidated or "something". Ha I've seen woman with bigger biceps and chests in my "Special Ops Group,". This JIM was a real piece of work. So after 3 minutes of torture trying to listen to his sorry $#*! explanation he basically said, "it's taking so long because we can't find when you purchased the charger" and I'm not saying you stole it but"...! I'm thinking is this guy (JIM) trying to insinuate that "I stole this cheap $#*! charging piece of wire worth about $5.00? I just about had it at that point and left. End of story... Hey, Chizzle Chest I'm on Facebook find me, my address and information is available. If you even think for one second that I am intimidated by you or Mr. Personality you are highly misguided. I'm a military veteran, who served this great country and community for 23 years in a uniform. I'm a black and brown in Aikido, $#*!o Ryu and Enshin karate. I could take you and Brian (Mr. Personality) both together in your store even at my age of 59! Never underestimate one's silver colored hair for being old and out if shape my dear boy. See you soon, hopefully.
Verizon long time customer,
I'm a loyal customer, around three years I am with them and won't change my mind!
It's an alright company, but it's not great...
Phone plans are alright, but customer service... don't make me get started
Verizon Wireless has been a great example of how a company can be completely incompetent across all layers of their support. The reason I say this is because I have yet to find someone within their company that is able to sufficiently resolve any issue I have ever had. The number of times one person can be forwarded to someone else for more information is absolutely astounding; the fact that I sometimes have to be on phone with support for 3 whole hours just to get a credit on my account as they accidentally automatically billed me twice is just a great example of how they are able to drop the ball.
They try to make up for this by offering their rewards, but their rewards are quite lackluster and most of the "deals" they have are actually just marked up. You're paying full retail price and are giving up rewards points for that benefit. Seriously. Take a look at the rewards and match them to retail on sites like Amazon.

So let me tell you of my experience, ok first I have been with Verizon since 2009, I have 6 phones on my account, and two of the phones are for my son's in the army. I have not had a complaint until last year. I have had plenty. Let's start with today, my phone bill usually ranges from 400-450 a month so I make payments x2. Well the payment was set up this month as usual. When I woke up this morning to call my son at Ft. Hood, guess what my phones were suspended, never in 7 years has my phones been suspended. So I call customer service, then call financial and they say there was none payment. So I go online and low and behold there was payment taken out for Verizon online at my bank. This is they excuse customer service gave me when I called back, payment may not reached verizon in time, so they sent me to financial services as I was talking to them said the payment has been made and your services are operating. Hmmmm... as I was talking to financial services I heard laughter, and I asked oh you think this is funny, and she said she was not laughing, but you still keep hearing laughter. This is only one instance, there are many more. We don't want to go into a bot my son at Fort Irwin and the verizon California screwing up our whole account, and we had to pay 500.00 to fix their mistake, when my military son went in to get a new phone. When verizon honored the mistake, and willingly gave us 500.00 back it was in credit to our account. Not actual 500.00. There are many more. So to end this, in two weeks we are switching to ATTEND, so done with this company.
I took the trial program at Verizon the data charges were through the roof they did not inform me of that I test drived two tablets they were terrible on data and inferior for pictures and other things I took them back and they charged me over $130 to restock products that I was unhappy with - I returned everything and closed the account within the proper time period they sent me a bill for data use of $268 and put a charge on my credit report. There service is terrible they do not honor the service agreements and their phones are $50 to $100 higher than the other carriers. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a carrier and they need immediate investigation DO NOT USE VERIZON and shop elsewhere. VERIZON IS A NIGHTMARE AND A RIPOFF OF YOUR MONEY!
I will give Verizon some credit, they do try to stay on top of the game. But their pricing can be rediculous. And a lot of the new promotions are for new customers only. What about rewarding long time customers somehow? More of us might stick around if we felt important. Their coverage area is fantastic though.
I've been a customer for 16 years and the last deal I got was two free IPhones so no complaints from me.
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
