DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Verizon. I was with them for 3 years and never experienced worse customer service ever
This includes their store and corporate office. I finally had enough so I switched carriers. The very day I switched Verizon sent me to collections. I called Verizon and my final bill wasn't even sent out and the collection notice was a mistake. I got on a 3 way call with the collection agency and Verizon and neither party knew what to do. I'm still battling this ongoing nightmare just for leaving Verizon.
This company is big enough that it can get away with abusing its customers and the Government turns a blind eye. Utilities are supposed to be regulated but it seems that the regulators have better things to do! I went to Verizon in June to change my service and they told me that they had a special offer. An iPad for just $20 a month. They told me that the cost of the iPad would be covered by the special which was a Visa card for $400 that I would get in the mail. They failed to tell me that I had to sign a two year contract for this and they lied about the $400 Visa card. They billed me $672 and when I protested the answer was, "too bad, pay or else we will ruin your credit". I thought that such behavior was illegal but I guess that it depends on how much revenue you get. If your revenue is high enough you can get away with abusing people especially older people who are fair game for Verizon. I paid and now am trying to hire a lawyer but they are all afraid of them!
Their service has become poor. 5 years ago I used to get service everywhere, now my calls get dropped regularly when I am sitting in my apartment. Family members of mine have the same issue and they live in another state! I cannot conduct business over the phone anymore as I am constantly afraid that my calls will get dropped. Will have to switch to another carrier so I don't keep dropping calls and losing money!
I have been into the location other times with no issues. Today we were going to replace my husbands phone. The sales person was not giving me a chance to say anything and was more concerned with selling me a new iPad mini that listening to me.
Needless to say her great explanation of the service will be used to look at another wireless service. Thank you in advance for your help in finding a less expensive carrier.
I called Verizon at 4:45 tonight and was put on hold witha 20-30 minute wait time.At 7:15 no answered my call. During this time I also called on my cell phone and pushed the number 1 to have someone call me back. It is now 8:00 and no one has done that. Meanwhile at 7:30 I called back back again and finally got a customer rep. This is ridiculous! I am so done with Verizon! Now it won't let me send this review because I gave it one star. Are you kidding me!
Meghan is the manager at the Verizon Wauwatosa Wisconsin store. I have never witnessed such horrible customer treatment until I was in the Wauwatosa Wisconsin Verizon store. The lack of her product knowledge and her poor management attitude is disaster for that store. Choose any other location, hopefully you will be treated as a paying customer instead of someone interrupting her personal calls on the sales floor.
I'm writing a review about the independence ky. Store and its about your employee mark beckman he did not try to offer any kind of customer service to us in as far as giving us a break on the cost of our product i was a cincinnati bell wireless for 16 years when verizon bought them out and i became a verizon customer we are of an older generation who believes in giving your customer a break but with mark beckman i think he figured he had a couple of suckers and he stuck it to us that why i feel a need to write a review my two cells on my account are *******058 and *******922 thanks for any help someone can be
Thanks to the guy at Verizon... all of my pics from HAWAII are all GONE. He factory reset my entire phone without my permission when he was suppose to be figuring out why my phone's port wasn't charging. And I clearly told him that I had A LOT of important pics on there from a recent vacation to Hawaii that I didn't want to lose, and that I didn't know my google account info. He didn't even check or talk with me first to see that my cloud was completely full! He got delete happy and deleted everything! Had I known he was going to cause me MORE problems then I started with... I would have just gone to Walmart and gotten the wireless charger so I could save my pics to my computer. Talk about SICK to my stomach. This is beyond the worst.
NO SIGNAL ANYWHERE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TRASH NETWORK. I RATHER NOT EVEN HAVE A PHONE AT ALL
Prepaid 80 a month no hot spot I pay the same price as post paid customers prepaid is an absolute ripoff through Verizon I'm trying to go to post paid they want 125 down and I keep my phone what. Crock Verizon is all hype this prepaid unlimited is a rip off slower than a snail calling customer service pisses me off that automated lady repeats ur balance it seems like 600 times then you get close and she says either call another number or ur call can't be completed if you

This company is a joke. They are bunch of crooks. They lie to get you to switch and never fulfill their promises. Then you just keep on calling their horrible customer service and they just give you run around.
The Whole company is horrible. The service is crappy I am always getting dropped calls but their fees never stop going up. They always charge for things you never added on your account. And the Buy Out of your contract is a scam!
Do they make their profit with...
I had 2 lines and two phones with a Verizon I've been a loyal Verizon customer for about 15 years and I really don't have any complaints.
I discovered the truth today about Verizon after asking them billing questions. As it turns out, after your device is mostly paid off or is totally paid off, your bill goes up. Why you may ask? Their answer was because people like to keep upgrading, so they automatically charge more. Um, okay, what if you just want to keep what you have for awhile to save some money? I guess you can't. Not sure if all cell companies are like this or just Verizon but I'm definitely checking into it, as that is not fair to the consumer. He also switched my plan to a different one without me giving permission first. He was rude, and blamed us for dropping our Verizon ellipsis 8 tablet when we absolutely did not, he blamed us anyway and was irritated after he couldn't sell us a new one. Needless to say, I am shopping around for new companies.
Traded in three phones. Only received 1 credit after months and months. Calling, chatting etc still nothing. Now after further review the store should have given me credit. Hog wash. This is a scam. Don't trade in phones. Verizon is terrible. Terrible
I had 2 lines and two phones with a Verizon monthly plan. It was all fine until I tried to end the plan. I paid off both my phones in full, and transferred my own number to another carrier. I needed to save my son's number as he was out of the country but wanted to have his number when he returned. I was told by Verizon customer service that it would be $10/month to save his number until he returned. This was in January. Since then they've been charging me $30/mo to save his number, always with a different and very confusing reason why. I've paid in order to preserve my unflawed credit. I finally ported the number over to Tracfone on May 3rd - they're saving his number AT NO COST! And then I received another bill from Verizon, which goes through May - past the time I ported out the # - again I was given more confusing answers as to why. I just paid it in full and requested an email confirmation from a supervisor that they would not charge me again. I thought they were an ok company, but now I think they'e corrupt, am wondering if they're not doing well financially so resorting to charging fees as much as they can get away with? It's weird!
I went to my verizon store today for help with my full voice mail. I was also looking for assistance with my car gps\cell phone holder I had purchased last time. It had fallen apart. The salespeople were more than helpful solving all my problems with patience and knowledge. Great service.
So last night I spent a half hour waiting for them to answer the phone when they finally did I spent 20 minutes going in circles with them explaining the problem with a decades old phone that they couldn't figure out. The customer service representative told me to go to the Verizon store near me and they couldn't figure it out either. So when I got home I started looking for a way to bypass the issue and in a few seconds I found one that they apparently had no clue about. Now it's been a long time since I was using Verizon and I can say I never will again, they really went down hill in a few years
On demand is hard to navigate, there is less you can watch for free, even older episodes cost money, I don't like the upgrade at all. Go back to old on demand or in the future make the upgrade just that. An upgrade
Verizon is not a trustworthy company & the agents in customer care department won't keep their words. I have been with Verizon for 11 years. T-Mobile offered a better plan package, so we moved to T-mobile. Verizon called me everyday wanted to win me back from T-Mobile and promised me that they will do price match.
I keep their words and move back, but the bill becomes $100 more than T-mobile. T-Mobile (everything unlimited) is $140 for 5 lines + 3 devices = $170 (tax included) in February & March 2017, but Verizon (everything unlimited) was $270 which is awful to cheat a reliable customer back from T-Mobile. They said as long as I got proof they will match it, but they dishonored their words. I spent times to talk to agents and supervisors, and they said the computer not allowed them to change it. This is the internal problems of the company which can't be excused.
Don't trust the Customer Care Department of Verizon, unless you sign a contract first, then starting to order the devices. Life is tough with the company not honor their own words.
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
