My main cable box went out, was on hold for over an hour. The direction was terrible. Went to the web site which was some help, but terrible. So close to 2 hours, by trial and error, plus google we were functional. We received a call from India and would get a technician to call us, never happened. The TV, internet, and phone are great, way better than Spectrum. But their customer service and technical support -10! NOTE: if you have to change your main box, remember to disconnect the client boxes.
I have absolutely nothing positive to say... well, that's not completely true. I am able to use my phone successfully right now. This company teaches their rude employees to lie or they truly are clueless... and completely rude. They continue charging monthly phone pymt charges even after your phone is paid off, and as your phone is just about to be paid off... conveniently your phone starts having "technical problems". I am so unhappy and tired of this company "stealing" my hard earned money! Time for me to make some changes and let another dirty company steal my money!
Verizon wireless is unreliable it will shut down without any warnings! It shows you " No service available " more than it works! DO NOT BUY THE VERIZON WIRELESS HOTSPOT TO USE FOR SCHOOL WORK IT SHUTS DOWN ON YOU WHILE YOU ARE TAKING QUIZES AND TEST AND LOWERS YOUR GPA! THIS IS AN UNRELIABLE NETWORK DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TRY EVERYTHING ELSE BEFORE YOU BUY THIS IT IS TRASH!
Just trying to add an additional cell phone to my existing account. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes i started chatting with them. After the chat person asked 2 questions i had already spelled out in the text, i just called back and shouted agent repeatedly in to the phone. After getting transferred around i got to someone who spoke to me on a speaker phone far from the phone. Very unhappy.
I recently filed an insurance claim Verizon, to start the phone came a day later than stated. When i tried to activate the phone it wouldn't work. After an hour of wait time they told me their was a fraud alert on my account. Instead of waiting on the phone with me for the fraud alert to be cleared they hung up on me. Long story short, after 5 minutes the fraud alert cleared. I've now been on hold for another 30 min waiting for someone to talk to again about getting my phone activated. I would love to leave a review on their website, but it doesn't appear they have a section for that. Now I know why. I'm 29 years old and this is the worst customer service experience I've had.
Customer service isn't what it used to be. Was told my grandsons phone was broken on inside the reason it wouldn't charge or stay on.
Took it to batteries plus. Amazing what a new battery did!
Also asked rep to look up my acct and tell me what I had going on with my acct.
He told me to get my grandson to look it up for me.
Said thank u.
As soon as I get this phone paid for, bye bye Verizon.
Never had such horrible customer service.
I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for over 10 years. Their customer service and products have significantly declined in the recent years. I have been dealing with a billing issue the past 3.5 months that has not been resolved and will likely lead to me canceling my service with them. I have called into their customer service multiple times in which I speak with a representative and I am then put on hold for hours until I am transferred to their billing department in which my phone call is ultimately disconnected every time right around 33 minutes and 15 seconds. I have done nothing but talk highly of verizon in the past and up until 2019 was a huge supporter of their service and products. Being a career professional, father, and someone that doesn't normally write reviews I am adamant to say that never in my years have I experienced such frustration, disregard, and inconvenience as I have with Verizon. I do not recommend their product and in the long run it will likely end up costing much more than just money.
I had Verizon for about one year, I decided to return to my previous provider, I am 200% DISSATISFIED with how they handle led my request, I feel they kind of punish you! I disconnected my Lin eon 7/28/2020 and got a billing in August, when I called the billing department, after keeping m eon hold for 75 minutes, they explained this is my last due for my disconnected line, and beloved edit or not they send me another bill for September, when I Calle done customer service they repeated the BS above, so basically I a man charged for NO SERVICES from this provider, of course I will disputed the charges via my bank account, but the headache and pain of calling here and there is endless. So read my experience and make your own choice as far a step choice of provider!

Dropped calls, sometimes no phone service, extremely slow 4g and no 5g whatsoever. And no response from customer service
My internet went down at 9am. I called 12 times. Was hung up on twice. Still no internet. Now that I work from home this type of service is interrupting my work performance. Ridiculous! Do not get Verizon
Where to begin? The prices are expensive and the customer service is awful. Just why do I still have this?
Be aware when living outside a city proper, your service will be horrible! Don't believe their customer service people in stores - they're there to sell you a phone and service plan. I asked several times if Verison had coverage where I live. I'm 15 minutes out of a city. He checked using my address and said yes... well I don't! Text and talk work but nothing else, I can't stream, opening apps, have problems sending pics.
Then you call their customer service! Nice people and are willing to help, but OMG they have levels that you have to go through. I've spent countless hours on the phone explaining my issues every time and at every level of expertise. Finally got a ticket issued and they found my area has limited to no coverage. They sent me a network booster that didn't work, so I went back to them to ask for a credit and I was asked again to explain my issues and put in a ticket because they had no history of my last ticket. That was it for me. Took myself off autopay and will only send them half the bill for half the service. I'm asking for a credit for four months of half service.
Call customer service and after waiting on hold for and hour it hung up. 3 differant times so I went to a store and was told I have to call the 800 #. So after trying 3 more times I finally get through just to be told NO you have to go to a local verizon store for this. And you guessed it! When I went back was told the same BS. I will be canceling their service completely! And all I was attempting to do was let my nephew transfer his phone off of my account to his own so now they lose both lines!
Complete incompetence. Was working with a completely incompetent salesperson. When I asked for a manager was told " We don't have manager's here "? I will never be back...
Give up. I hate Verizon. I try to use text app nope I'm not a customer ( just switched an hour ago)cant use any of there chat apps. Cant use phone system not a customer. Finally get through to wait on hold 40 min... with no answer. Use human now app... and no response. Call using online tip to just hit 0 until u get a response. Get a damn foreigner who keeps putting me on hold. And telling me I still owe money on the phone. And keeps asking me if I want to pay off the phone. I keep telling her its payed off and when it was payed off and she says I owe for 3 more months... then I tell her several times if the phone was not payed off I would not have been able to switch to att. After few times telling her this... she tells me I wasn't allowed to switch to att cause I still owe on the phone... and her supervisor will call me back because I owe them money for the phone. I hate Verizon... almost 3hrs of my life down the drain. I will never have service with them again. Oh but if I push a few numbers on my phone I can be a Verizon customer again and then they will chat with me... dumb $#*! people. All I wanted to do is pay them money ( my final bill)
I have always recieved a monthly paper bill in the mail since I have had service from Verizon. A few months ago my bill got messed up so I called and wound up paying my bill by phone. Now, I no longer get my bill in the mail. Instead, they keep sending me a text message with a bunch of numbers that mean nothing to me and I want those text messages to stop right now. I just want to get a normal bill in the mail but it seems like a huge problem for them to do that.
How valuable is your time?
Verizon will waste your time with endless policies that indemnify them from basic customer service or responsibility. Whenever I had an issue, it was always in favor of Verizon. I either sucked it up or took it on the chin. Don't waste your time with Verizon wireless.
New Verizon phone took 2 five hours days to finally get it connected to service.
First 3 calls Reps left me on hold for min of 40 mins and never came back to finish call.
Fourth connection was to one of the rudeness service rep I've ever had the experience to work with, finally told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor, the supervisor took my debit card info, billed me, then sent me over to auto pay, which then took my debit card again to start auto pay for the following months.
Had to call back the following day because phone still wasn't connected was told I need to pay for the first month, so hear i go with my debit card again... phone finally gets connected but then I find out I've been billed twice for the first month... Its been a nightmare trying to get them to return one payment with no luck, had to file a complaint with my bank, after 10 days still no word.

Phone just stopped working today. Tried calling customer service (still on hold after an hour), texting, chatting, email, nothing. Every option is being driven to an automated tool, and none of them work. What the heck do I do now? My phone is my business. Completely helpless, and this "Communications company" cannot resolve a simple issue. Not sure why you keep blaming it (on your outgoing messages) on COVID-19. Lots of people out of work, can work from home, and you're a communications company that is probably still thriving. Something is very wrong when a customer for almost a decade who pays $500 per month for a family can't get a simple problem solved or get through to a customer service agent. Worthless.
