I paid XO communications and Verizon at the same time. Verizon took over XO so I was double paying. When I realized I overpaid $5500 I was told I would get a refund. I sent all proofs and then Verizon stopped responding to me. Total thieves. Now I have to sue them to get back what I overpaid. Disgusting company, they use foreign representatives who do nothing to help when you are in the right.
Customer Service is HORRIBLE and has gone downhill over the yrs. If you call, they try to get you to accept a call back or get you to text an agent or bot. The text agent is always confused and slow and the call back never answers you when you pick up. It just disconnects and you'll have to call back and wait anyway. Then, once you get an actual human, they'll lie about resolving your issues. I'm canceling my line today :)
I have been a long time Verizon user. I requested for a temp international plan to start in July, and end on Aug 12,2021. I didn't notice until in mid December, 2021 that this service wasn't stopped as it supposed to, and they having been charging me for that service of $100 every month (I use automatic payment through my bank). I called Verizon, was put on hold, and the estimated time was said to be 40 min. Well, I was still on hold after 90 min. The online "chat with us" only gave you the same response and is useless. I scheduled a call back and finally got a live person on the line. Guess what? They transferred me twice, and I was put on hold again endlessly. Never experience anything worse than Verizon.
Verizon can't provide me with Documents to support a bill on my credit report but they can provide 3 stories far all support fraud old enough it shouldn't be on my report. Now I order devices for a great deal and they canceled with some lame excuse. I said of this feel though I was going to the better business bureau with a complaint they can count on it for sure. I would not recommend them and unsure how companies keep getting away with this fraud. Unreal.
I switched to Verizon before becoming a truck driver cause of needing more nationwide service. Well all was greatand dandy till this 5G Crap came out, and staffing reduction. Very few corporate stores anymore, and limited times for Actual customer service (you have to call cause the stores, unless a corporate one, are very limited to what they can do) so long wait times on the phone or at a retail store franchise. I paid off my Galaxy S10 and all hell broke loose. Constant dropped calls, phone lag and freezing, no service in areas suddenly, and the phone was only 2 years old. So I upgraded to the S21 under a promotion. Well same crap minus the phone lag and freezing. Horrendous 5G service. Absolute garbage. 4 G is way faster and no, on Android you can't turn off 5G. May be locked not sure. But its very annoying. Close to full bars on 5G and can't get photos to load properly on some apps.
Glad I switched from Verizon to AT&T after being a loyal customer for 19 years. The past several months with Verizon were horrible. Extra charges billed monthly which I had to call and rectify every month with no solution, inferior spam protection, and horrible customer service!
The internet if our four lines are so slow. I've tried to call and report this issue, tire of live chatting still they can't solve our problem! This is a robbery from verizon!
I would leave zero stars if possible. We have been with Verizon for 18 years; why did we stay so long? Worst customer service ever. You can't talk to someone and if you ever do and they transfer your call to a supervisor, YOU WILL GET DISCONNECTED! They don't care. Management doesn't care. We're done today. And by the way, don't go to the Johnstown, Ohio store and deal with the manager Camry Todd. She doesn't have a clue!
Worst of the worst, will never sign with again. From start to finish is horrible, made promises of free devices which u end up paying for full, keep changing my bill. After I close my account the made 2 unauthorized transactions taking money from my account and I have been trying to get refunded for over a month. My advice is stay far from this rip off company. Service sucks not any better. Customer service sucks it's the worst. Stay far.
-minus 10. Costumer service is promising solutions, credits etc but can not send confirmation or share any notes in writing because "the system does not allow". Of course the solutions and credits never happen and when asked if they can listen to the recorder calls they claim they are not saved. Four customer service employees did the sam thing. They are trained to to this. It's insane, I hope someone will go after them so they get stopped!

After 15+ years with Verizon I switched for the same reason as many current customers. You only win if you leaveā¦just like a bad marriage. It's freeing to be out.
Immediately after switching they have no records of my account and won't acknowledge my past business with them. I've been getting the run around for hours from their customer service. Verizon is Evil.
I switched from another wireless carrier Verizon to about two weeks ago. Hands down the worst mistake I have made in a while. I moved three lines, it has taken ten days just to get all three lines working, and once that finally happened, the SIMM failed in my primary line. One would think that after all the hours, I have wasted on support with Verizon, and all the headaches I have gone through with them, they would have made an effort to ay least send a replacement SIMM over night.
Verizon's response, was you can drive to a Verizon Store and get one there. The nearest Verizon store would be an hour round trip, and frankly, why should I have to go out of my way to fix Verizon's faulty SIMM, the other option, was that they would mail one and I should get it in two to three days
So here I am, a new Verizon customer, that has not had full access to the three lines that I have paid for in the entire time I have been with Verizon. It is real clear, Verizon could care less about customers, all that matters is they get your money. The fact that you could get better service with two soup cans and a string, means nothing.
Bottom line, Verizon is a horrible company, that has poor service and cares only about profit.
I DONT EVEN WANT TO GO INTO WHAT I WENT THROUGH WITH THEM BECAUSE ITS GOING TO PISS ME THE FUQ OFF AGAIN. I WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER SWITCHED FROM AT&T TO THIS POS COMPANY. THEIR SALES TEAM IS EXCELLENT BUT ONCE YOU A CUSTOMER. SHYT EXPECT LONG HOLD TIMES. TOLD DIFFERNT SHYT. BILLED FOR FOR SHYT YOU DIDNT EVEN GET. SO MANY FEES AND TAXES. AND LOCAL TAXES AT THAT. THEY GET YOU WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO PAY THE TAXES BUT THOSE FEDERAL TAXES, BUT THEY CHARGE YOU FOR ALLL SORTS OF FUQING $#*!. DO NOT GO WITH THEM.
Don't waste your time or energy with this company I have been with them 4yrs. They are hard to get a live representative and then when it's time to upgrade they are doing inquiries on your credit. Although it's Black Friday they still won't apply any credits until you pay for the phone that's crazy. 4yrs with them has been hell, turning off my phone by a mistake, then charging $10 to talk or pay with a live representative.
Sooooo - Verizon left us stranded in Rome with no service after we let them know we would be heading out of the country. We even told them exactly where we were going. It was the scariest thing to be without phones in a country we didn't speak the language. It took hours to get them back on. Then when we get home and tell the staff what happened they promised us a refund for all the charges while we were gone ($180) then it wasn't taken off the bill. We called again and the lady said she had credited our account but it would take 24 hours. Guess what - no credit. Then we called yesterday. The guy was a jerk and told us tough luck.
It's been a mess from the beginning when we switched. Account info wrong. Credited for our phones wrong. Just a mess!
I was told the bill would be around 160 for 3 lines - ordered 3 phones online at that time. 1 was delayed over a month so we got charged the higher cost of 80 each for 2 lines waiting on the third phone which we were never informed of. Were using a student discount and when the third phone came we lost this discount and were never told it can only apply to two phones and would disappear when a third was added. Was denied military discount for a military widow. Cancelled the service and sent back the new phones within 2 weeks- it was too late for the first 2 to get back our trade ins and we were told an iphone 7 was worth 400 and an iphone 11 pro max 256 was worth 800 - we are going to receive only 39$ for the iphone 7 and 387$ for the iphone 11 (market value we were NEVER informed of - we were told we would be credited the amounts) and we cancelled. Spent over 20 hours on the phone with customer service because of port in issues, service issues (1 bar constantly), billing issues, etc. Then we are told we owe 400$ for a final (SINGLE) bill for taxes on the new phones we used for 2 single weeks and sent back - they are using our trade ins to cover that so we get literally NOTHING and verizon keeps the phones? Absolutely disgusting no transparency they are thieves and liars STAY AWAY
They left me without a phone, was hanged up many times, finally I spoke to someone to finish My claim for my note 20 ultra 5g, the phone turned out to be in backorder in Asurion, I worked mostly from my phone so I called to ask them to please send me a loaner phone that I could use in the mean time while they get my phone, which I had just paid 400 for my Verizon bill and 250 for Asurion deductible, the lady tried to sell me insurance for all my house electronics and trying to get me to get a samsung flip and forget about my note 20 ultra, to the point to were I felt bad and harassed, after 30 mins of me saying no ma'am I will not give up on my note 20 ultra, she said well there is nothing I can do, we do not do loaner phones and the 20 ultra is on backorder so you, would have to wait, now about that insurance and I said no thank you I don't need any more electronics on back order, she just hanged up on me, and verizon wireless says there is nothing they can do, even tho they offer the insurance, you agree on verizons page, you pay Verizon every month for it, they say sorry can't help and if they hanged up on you is because you must be catching them at a bad time, this is unbelievable how unprofessional I have been treated by this 2 so called professional companies.
