Getting food customer service with Verizon is a nightmare you can take our after hour after hour and then when you promise to call back call back never comes what horrible terrible service
I get terrible reception at home on my Verizon phone, which only really matters when I lose power. Unfortunately, this has happened several times over the last couple of months. I tried for hours on multiple days to talk to an actual Verizon rep. I stayed on hold for hours. I got hung up on. When I finally got ahold of a representative on chat, I was told I have "no service" in my area. You take money from me EVERY month, and now you're telling me I have no service?" She said I have 5g and 4g in my area, and a contract would get me service. (I'm prepaid, by choice.) I said I had no idea I got inferior service as a prepaid customer and told her I needed more information about this. She said, "let me connect you," and nothing else happened. Nothing. I waited another twenty minutes before I ended the chat. Verizon can kiss my a**.
Like how they charge a one time fee, without an explaination. Just go ahead and charge/ costs you more money. Time to switch to another provider.
I had been with Verizon for years and the price kept going up and I could not afford it. I had them cancel my tablet because I did not use it and did everything to lower my bill. Finally went either another carrier paid my final bill and kept getting a bill. Called and found out they were charging me over $120 for the tablet I had taken off. After 3 hours on the phone paid what I thought would be the final bill again and received another bill. I will never go back to Verizon again. They can't get their billing right. Horrible customer service. Will put a complaint in to the BBB
Their online tech/help support center is horrible. My phone seems to have died and I'm trying to chat with them. They need to send a message to my phone. WTF? Why do idiot companies do this? Might as well not even have a tech support option online. Oh, and no 24/7 customer service center. Way to go Verizon!

Costumer service is the worst I have seen through out this time.
I been a trying to fix a phone problem since 12/27/21, I have spend about 16 hrs on the phone. I definitely need try another reliable company.
On November 29th, we called Verizon and spoke with Nica to upgrade 2 lines on our business account. She said that we would get $650 off an iPhone 13 Pro 128gb, and $450 off an iPhone 13 Pro Max 256gb by ordering them with renewing our 2 year contract (and keeping our old phones) and promised that they would be delivered by December 28th "at the latest". Not having received either phones on December 29th, we called to follow up, and was informed that Nica BLATANTLY LIED about pricing, phone availability, and our WHOLE 45 minute long conversation and that she NEVER even placed the order. The only thing that Nica efficiently did, was immediately text us a "survey" to get a good review––which we completed––everything else she told us was a complete lie and misrepresentation. We were on the phone for 2 HOURS being tossed back and forth between April, Ange, and finally with Laura, (who was very condescending) only to be told that Nica completely lied to us and there was nothing she was willing to do about it. We have had a business account with Verizon for over 10 years and are extremely disgusted with the complete lack of customer service and wasting HOURS of our time for absolutely nothing. Though this type of treatment is unfortunately very common with big companies, we are compelled to leave this review and hope that it warns and helps those contemplating doing business with Verizon…. Since they have made it obvious that they don't care about small business accounts like us.
They abuse their power and domination. They do not find solutions for your issue and totally don't care.
Verizon advertises buy one get one free I phone 13. Go into store, non available. Order two online. Pay for the phone in full. Get bill, it doubles. Call, hour wait. Go into store, can't help you due to buying online. They say go to corporate store, all closed due to "covid". Call again, wait an hour. Promotion over, can't buy one in full and get other free and you have to increase your plan to a premium plan. Store rep quoted, $35 a month per line. Now the customer service rep say you have to purchase $55 a month plan. So I got no benefit from promotion and a higher plan. Best of all, no one can help. They want your money and hire no one to assist.
Ive been waiting 7 mins now to speak with someone... overall my experience has been horrible I'm seriously thinking about switching to another company t mobile would never lol
Been holding for an agent for an hour and a half and sill holding! Added out of country online, so I don't have to hold on the phone. It doesn't work. You call the number and it says I don't have long distance, even though I recieved an Email stating that it was active. Now still holding.
I received a 8k Verizon battery charger as a gift. It did not work out of the box. I was offered to ship it back at my cost or make a trip to Verizon without a receipt. Save your time and money.
Called the call center several weeks ago to discuss my account. I was hung up on by 3 different reps. I had to finally ask for a supervisor after 6 hours because no one else knew what they were doing. Today, they lied about my bill to me, told me I owe 1k on my bill when my balance is 353.25. I'll share photos if I can.
Spend 6 hours on phone trying to resolve problem no luck. Changed service to AT@T and Verison blocked my phone even it was paid off
Have a plan with Verizon for two cell phones and two tablets. Tablets are five years old and paid for. Only use one of them, wanted to cancel the other one. Went to the store to upgrade phones the sales staff unable to help cancel tablet. Gave us phone number to bypass customer service, tried numerous times waiting for two hours, unable to reach a human. Tried customer service under the guise of adding a line immediate connection to a person no help at all. Good luck canceling a device if it's broken or lost,
Verizon Sales Rep indicated that everyone has had service issues as they are making changes. Nothing we can do about. And no discounts or refunds for bad cell service. Terrible. In a contract and unless I want to spend more $$. I have to wait and have bad service. What in the world! I will leave as soon as I can. If you don't have Verizon now. Do not sign up!
Salesman told me that if we switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, got the 13 pro, Apple Watch series 7, and you received free Powerbeats pros, and up to $800 to cover the switching fees. T-Mobile waived the cancellation fee, and the device was paid off. The salesman said that we'd still get at minimum $500 for switching to Verizon. 3 months later, they denied EVERYTHING that the salesman had said. No headphones, no visa gift card for switching. All I got is a $400 phone bill compared to the $200 T-Mobile bill.
The best part is that T-Mobile has a better network. I've had more dropped calls on Verizon than I've ever had on T-Mobile
4 stars for quality because they are Apple products and Thankfully Verizon didn't build the devices.
First off, if you are on a family plan, your phone can only be delivered to the primary address. When I ordered my new phone, it automatically shipped to the primary address and immediately called and gave them an alternative address. The trade-in kit still went to the primary address, so I called again to make sure the phone would go to my address. 20 days later, the phone never showed up and after talking with about 9 different agents and being put on hold for dozens of hours, they told me to call Fedex. Fedex told me that they lost it in transit (neither I nor Verizon was notified), and I had to call Verizon to have them cancel the order. Here I am on hold with Verizon after talking with 8 different people today on hour 3, just to cancel the order and start all over. I am still on hold as I write this and pretty sure they just forgot about me. The most incompetent and negligent customer service that I have ever dealt with, and have been dealing with for many years.
Verizon online and their brick and mortar store have absolutely the worst customer service without any doubt. This past week I call their online customer service about switching my cellular service and spent an hour and they came up with promises they could not keep especially with their cellular plans. So, I decided to visit their physical store and the customer service agent spend three hours trying to set up the account to enroll me in the plan, however after three hours and seeking assistance from three other customer service agents and failing to setup the new phones, she asked me to come the next day so she could start the account setup process again. These agents have no clue or even have the basic requirements or knowledge to take care of their customers. After this horrible experience, I decided to stay with my current cellular provide. If you like the run around, promises they that can not be kept and lose your peace of mind then Veriizon is the place for you. Please, be careful when dealing with Verison.
Stupidity all around. I ordered my new phone 3 months ago and I can not get a hold of anyone to find out what is going on.
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
