Classic bait and switch, got chat quote with screen captures for an estimated bill of $100 That didn't happen, instead I got $250 for a first bill and $143 for a recurring bill. You will never, and I repeat never will you get what they advertise. I tried getting service changed to a more affordable plan, with VZW that means wait 60 days and lose fake discounts, so cost more money to downgrade. Again, chatted with rep (to create written evidence) after a while and him just pasting info that was already known in the app, I finally said, "I got deceived, and have to wait 60 days to change, and I will lose discounts?" he said Yes! (again got screenshots) All the agent would do is rehash what I already saw in the myapp, instead of trying to actually resolve my issue, or attempt to help. They're crooks and they know it! Either get ripped or go elsewhere.
The A hole manager at 45th Street was picking young looking kids over me, I waited over 30 minutes and 4 people came in in after he and he help them, I asked him about that and he said I can't look at your account as I am a manager, That's odd,,, as aI am am a manager an have the abilities of all of my workers do, I feel he was chery picking customers.

I'm so sick of being ripped off by companies that are making astonishing profits by overcharging people who actually work for a living. The service is largely crummy, given that the majority of Verizon's networks rely on woefully antiquated technology (think Ma Bell), and it goes without saying that Verizon has no incentive to improve their service. Frankly, this astonishingly greedy strategy has taken over American business, and We The People suffer for it. Verizon is a TERRIBLE company that would sell us all into torturous slavery if they thought they'd make a buck.
I've been trying to send in my iPad trade-in device for a couple of weeks now. First they sent shipping material for an iPhone so I went online and chatted with a representative and she told me that she would send out the correct materials and that it would take 3-5 business days. It's been over 5 days so I called this time and spoke with a rep who was very rude. He wouldn't confirm whether or not the device was actually shipped out - which is weird. Why wouldn't they see that info? He kept insisting that they did their job. If they did their job, I would have already received the requested material. I was frustrated and apologized but he continued to be very rude and doubt he was actually listening to me and he never once apologized for any inconvenience.
A tech named Dane was just here in Washington, PA to do an install for fios. He was completely rude the entire time here. I left him outside by himself for being jerk and didn't want him in my home. He should not be working with the public. Also, I didn't appreciate his profanity when he said the person on the phone who told us the wrong info on istall was full of s*** and continues to talk bad about how unintelligent and untrainable and a waste of time training said Verizon costumer service employees were. His word toward me and other Verison employees was uncalled for.
Stay away from this company! They over charge!
When I Cancelled - I still paid my bill to stay up to date.
3-16-23 I received an invoice that showed i was positive $165.68
4-26-23 I Called for 45 minutes they say I would receive a refund 5-8 to 5-10
Nothing!
Called again 5-19-23 ( 45 minutes)
I will receive refund 5-7 weeks
This company makes Millions of dollars by over billing and not doing what is right by their customers. STAY AWAY!
There are a bunch of other options out there for you phone service providers, DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY THE PROMISE OF SUPERIOR SERVICE!
I switched to Verison from T Mobile 5 days ago and still am not connected with my phone. I have spent 5 hours on chat and am given the same information each time and the agents say it is fixed and it is not. Now I have NO connection. The agents are extremely helpful but the technical problems are a nightmare. I wish I had not switched.
They are thief's, they refund me $27 from $225.69 I need to call first hour to cancel phone and service,and make 7 calls each time lazy give me different explanation and don't know what going on, never send me notifications, they are crack thieves,I will take legal action,Olson the guy asked me about my social security I'm afraid he sold cause thus centre call in India, Verizon is fredulent company, stay a way
An agent came and offered me to switch to Verizon for home internet. I applied, received the box, applied and qualified for the government program. Called him, never came back to connect it, when I called Verizon they told me that my account is not connected, I sent back the box and one month later I started receiving bills for $ 198.23, they reported it to my credit report as a derogatory and made me loose several points. I had to pay them for a service that I did not receive and also pay a collection fee of $20! I don't recommend Verizon to anyone. They steal money and mess up your credit!
I purchased a screen breakage insurance plan from Verizon when I purchased my phone. I was led to believe it was a one time nominal charge. Now that my screen has cracked i have discovered that Verizon will not replace or repair my phone. I must contact and work through a third party insurance company. The company said to take my phone to a local "U broke it we fix it" store. The store says my phone can't be repaired. The insurance company says now I must mail my phone to them for a week. Who is going to mail a phone and be without a phone for a week knowing it can't be repaired. Verizon says just start another contract with them and get a phone but I don't want another contract. I want my phone replaced. The local Verizon rep told me yesterday I would have a new phone by tonight and return my old phone but Verizon is not going to honor that promise.
New customer wishing I had read reviews before signing up! Issue with a bill and I have been on the phone with customer services for 1.5 hours trying to sort a 'technical issue' with my account. The last customer service person informed me there is no issue! I just have to wait a few days before the bill shows on my account. Why didn't the previous 4 x customer service people know this and not waste my time. Escalated my complaint and was given a very tepid 'sorry' for bad service. Please go elsewhere if you can.
My experience with this company includes: being told my phone was "free" then charged monthly, the salesperson saying he was giving me free phone accessories turns out the were $80 (available on Amazon for $18), charged for an entire month after cancelling the line 10 days in, charged $10 for horrible customer service and $5 for a hard copy of my bill, told I could not speak with a supervisor. Price gouging, hidden fees, and deceptive sales practices lead me to the Attorney General's office of Ohio.
My husband and I went into a Verizon cell store to get a Sim card put into our phones. We could not get the little door to come open so we thought we would go and get help. Soon as we walked in there was a man who helped us But he had such an attitude that I decided I would write a review. His name was Mike it was at the Tega Cay store which is not a commercial store. It's a retail store but we thought we were close by there, so we just stopped there. Well obviously he did not want to help us. He talk to us gruffly made us feel like we were peons And walked out of the room and said something really smart Alake to the other sales person in the room. We have been with Verizon for many years and have really liked their service but this is ridiculous. He shouldn't even have a job if he's gonna treat people ugly, you don't have a people job. If you don't like working with people it was the end of the day, but he could've had the courtesy of treating us like humans, so I suggest that he get fired.
I was on an account with my adult children. They moved out of state a I decided to get my own account. Verizon told me I still owed for my phone, I told them it was supposed to be free and come with the service. As we had traded in our phones at the time. I didn't want a new phone as I have difficulty with the one I had, but they insisted and said it was free. They then said they would not be charging me for the phone. My bill monthly was supposed to be $70 and on my fixed income I felt I could afford it. But every month the bill was over $100. I was having trouble paying that much. Another company offered me monthly charges of way less so I switched, the middle of March. I received a bill in April, for over a hundred dollars again, which I didn't think I should have and I called. They convinced me this was my final bill for March. Then on April 20th they took $150 out of my account again. When I called the lady told me they would refund that amount as she said I didn't owe it. A week later I call because I didn't get a refund. They make me talk to 3 different people who insist I owe that for the phone I got last yea after telling me last year that I didn't owe it. So I have now two phone companies charging me which makes me short on my rent and my medications. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to, but I'm not sure how I make it to next month. Thank you Verizon for cheating an old lady!
Fraud company. I was not in US, I didn't avail their services. They denied to give my security deposit of $125. Me without availing services and not even activating Auto Pay, they used my whole money for paying bills for the months I wasn't using their services. And denied to refund back
Was told our bill would be this amount then increased our amount by $30. You can keep adding lines which we have 3 lines and the prices keep going up and Verizon keeps lying. I have had pre paid with Straight Talk and Spectrum and never an issue so I recommend to all that's the way to go because all reviews I have read with Verizon through my years with them are not good and with any other company!
I have never had the worst experience with anyone in my whole entire life Verizon customer service presidents office executives office supervisor whoever you wanna call them a horrible no respect for human life at all. My mom was sick in the hospital. She called Verizon because of issues with her bill that they kept putting fees on her bill, etc. one of the people today from the executive office. After her telling them multiple times that she had double surgery recently and that this was telling her they told her oh well you should know how to pay your bill when they were the ones who screwed up every time you look it's always the bill goes up. They always add an extra fee is it always doing something and no one ever stands up for the customer and I've been a customer with them for about 15 years I'm over it I'm done with it done with arise, and I would never recommend them they are horrible. The bills are ridiculous. They fold a piece of garbage even though you get them from Apple but still you're responsible or somebody should be able to help you at the company that I'm paying for my bill. It's over I'm done with it don't wanna know anything about it. I wouldn't recommend him I could take them to court I will. I wish anybody that has a phone number for high-level. Don't give me the executive office because that was the lady the person now, I need somebody higher than them. I'm over it frustrated and done.
This company is junk. They lie make fun of you, over 25 calls made and every answer was different.
Ordered 3 S23Ultras and got S23plus. Then when you go into 2 different stores they say they can only refund and charge restocking fees, but they can't refund in the store. They can exchange for what you bought. They charge you 30.00 if you need help to activate the phones. Plus 300.00 stock fee.
Beware: Do Not Use this Company
So after hours of tech "support", I am in a foriegn country needing help and unable to use my phone. Following instructions from Sarah to reset my network settings made my problems worse. Following instructions from Andy at texting tech support, who told me to turn off automatic selection of mobil providers and select the one with the best signal got me barred from dialing any number for heaven knows how long. He told me to restart my phone knowing I would lose my connection, but he promised to wait. He did not, and after all afternoon of customer "support", I am worse off then before. THANKS A LOT VERIZON!
I have a 97$ charge without any reason on my credit report! I HAVE WASTED MY TIME WITH A SERIES OF CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATORS SITTING AT HOME IN THE PHILLIPINES! The female phone operators will set you up piss you off as a side show for kicks because you cannot get to them and Corporate help. BECAUSE IT'S ALL RIGGED! BECAUSE AT TIMES YOU CAN HEAR THE ROSTERS CROWING! Depending on their mood they all will INTENTIONALLY MESS with you as an AMERICANS! I AM working to remove the trouble and game they have been playing lately!
This has been going on within this year! To harass Americans of their choosing!
