They took money out of our account 2 times in a month and there customer service stinks and lies I am going to the bank and dispute the 2 nd charge

I can't seem to ever get help with Verizon! I have been a customer for years and they are never helpful. I tried sign in at the Verizon on my Android and I always have trouble if it's not my password word it's something else. Today I am trying to sign in I forgot my information so they asked me for my number I give them my number now they want the zip code I give them my zip code and they claim that's not on their files. I have been living in the same place for 10 years using the same zip code so I don't know what they are talking about. I'm thinking about just changing carriers because I'm old and I don't need all this HASSLE.

I have been on call with the customer rep for more than 3 hours just to upgrade my phone, one person gives one quote and other rep gives other quote and finally after I agreed upon the higher quote what they are insisting me that is the final quote! The payment was not successful because of their application issueSuch a pathetic experience and such a time waste and finally they told me to visit store for the purchaseThen why the online service is for? And why you wasted my precious. 3 hours? Come on improve your customer experience as you guys are growing day by day, none of the customers would be happy with you guys having such an absurd experience.

I went in to get internet and the customer service rep. Signed an account up as a business account without my signature or consent for it to go on to my business. We were also quoted on paper with I have about a 200 dollar bill. Well once I looked at the bill 2 days later it was 513 dollars. I have spent over 15 hours in store and 30 on the phone. WIth promises that I would get fully compensated. Instead my bill has only went up still and they happened to not get my returned device and I am not being charged for that. Their investigation team has not re reached out to me to stay on top of this and in store no one can touch a business account so you get nowhere with that. Its like they have hired all customer service reps to be out of the country now and no one knows what is ever going on so you have to repeat your story a million times just to eventually give up or I'm tempted to just sue at this point. But I had to pay so that nothing went to collections and needless to say its been a big big poop show.

DO NOT USE VERIZON! THEY HAVE WENT TO CRAP THE LAST YEAR

I've been a VZ customer for 15+ years. Their customer service is the absolute worst. I somehow got locked out of my account and they are sending a log-in verification code to my elderly Mother who's in a nursing home - not to my phone as the account owner. They do not allow customers to speak to a real person until you log in. They have made it impossible for me to rectify the problem. I am on vacation in a remote area and now have to find a store. All this because I got an email about unknown charges that just hit my account. VZ is the absolute worst.

Ripped Off

The Verizon sales representative did not initiate our service with the discounts he promised. Despite numerous attempts to correct the situation, Verizon has taken from us approximately $500 in overcharges over the past 6-months. Finally, at a corporate-owned store 14 miles away, we were told that the only way to get the rate we were promised would be to close our account and open a new one. We would have been willing to do that provided our account could be credited for the overpayments, but we were also told that Verizon viewed the charges as being "legitimate." Therefore, we choose to close our account and never use Verizon again. Spectrum uses the Verizon network, has excellent customer service, and charges a fraction of the fees. Do yourself a favor and sign up with Spectrum instead.

Been dealing with Verizon DSL and landline problems for over ten years (not exaggerating). Every time they want to blame the router, our inside lines, etc. Filed a complaint with Pennsylvania state attorney general's office and at least achieved a formal complaint. Service is no better. Paying for something I am not getting. Every time they want to start with FIOS - I DO NOT HAVE IT NOR CAN I GET IT. Customer service is an absolute joke. Just got off a chat of 2 hrs. 43 min. 5 reps. No help or satisfaction.

My Verizon internet bill went up $21 all of sudden. I called the Contact Us number on the website and had to deal with horrible automated service, had to call 3-4 times to finally get a human rep. Of course it was outsourced to what sounded like a philipino accent. Very difficult to understand, went around in circles, he couldn't tell me why my bill went up. He just said that the internet rate went up for one month and will be back to normal the next month, which made no sense at all. The customer rep was no help at all. So I went online to my account and found out my bill went up that high for 2 reasons, 1) they didn't charge me for Disney+ for the previous month and 2) Disney+ went up $3. And then I come to find out that they were offering 500mbs at the same price I was paying currently for 400mbs, WTF?. And now I can't even call back to complain as their Customer Service is atrocious! Aaarrrgghhh!

HORRIBLE! Absolutely scary corporations can ABUSE its power against customers. I was in Los Angeles on vacation and upon arrival I was not be able to text, make calls or use navigation phone was locked into unserviced SOS mode. Called customer service (using other people's phones) and spent 5 days back and forth online and in person and hours and hours trying to rectify my service. Verizon ping pong me back forth between Apple and Verizon blaming each other. I was in absolute tears
And completely distraught in a large city. Apple said if I was to even buy a new phone the technical issues would be transferred to it.
Only to be told by Verizon it was my phone and wanted to sell me a new phone $800. I switched to AT&T and my service is 100% fine didn't have to buy a new phone. I should have switched day one but the number porting would have been an issue without service. It took AT&T 4 hours to transfer due to Verizon's incompetent customer service. During this process I felt my health was compromised and that I could have had a heart attack. Verizon has the worst customer service. By the way if you go into a Verizon store they don't want to provide technical support - they want you use the useless chat bot system that doesn't work. My vacation was completely ruined. The manager was so rude she should be fired! Verizon lost a 30+ year customer and I'm switching telling as many others to not use Verizon.

It's a bummer

We have been with them for more than a few years now, and from the beginning they've been very misleading about pretty much everything. There are a few good customer service reps when it comes to dealing with them over the phone, but if it's over chat or something like that you're going to have problems. You're really better off going with a different company, I'm no longer under contract so I'm looking for somebody else.

Had Verizon maybe for the past 20 years… it has became the WORSE OF ALL…. Can't wait to be able to todo terminate my contract and go on to other carrier. Loose my signal on daily basis even at home….waste of money and they keep you in the hook. Area code *******-*******.would not recommend… keep getting msgs: WE ARE WORKING IN YOUR AREAj FOR BETTER SEVICE… yeah right… how much longer.?

5g blows

For 10 years we been waiting for 5 g. Biggest scam in phone history. They been selling 5 g phone for 10 years then tell you
When 5 g is up running you'll be read to go. 2023 still waiting nothing g but problems. Also been sending pictures through text messages for 20 years never had any problems. For last 6 months on android Samsung galaxy 22 when send a picture it sets there and and the little Icon spinning for 20 mins and picture never goes through don't tell me it's a signal problem or a permission problem. It's all junk done verizion. I go to any
Social platform and pictures instantly. Never buying another Samsung ever a again. Updates are a joke they reconfigure your phone mess it all up then you got speed counts house changing your setting back and who he'll knows what else there doing in your phone

I have been trying to return a 5G WiFi box for almost a month! Each time I call for a mailing label I find I have spoken to someone who doesn't know what they are doing! And Unlike T-Mobile, you cannot return their equipment to an actual Verizon Maintenance Store!
Verizon's Customer Service is in the TOILET!

Big problems

Since I had the phone 8 months ago people are telling me I'm not calling from the number I have it's a different number. Been down to the Verizon store four times and no one seems to want to help. I called the it help number they couldn't seem to help. So now I'm stuck with a $500 payoff bill because no one wants to help because I cannot use Verizon no more it's hurt my business

All my services that I receive are extremely over-priced. I would love to change services however, I need my services that no one has them all at one company. And when you try to pay your bill their system doesn't work

Worst of the worst

Verizon has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any company I've dealt with over the last 40 years. Their website is unusable and often is down. Their customer service via phone is terrible. Oftentimes you can't get an actual human on the phone and when you do they are from the Philippines or India. Difficult to understand and they turf you off to someone else where you have to repeat the whole scenario all over again. It's really pathetic that these people are getting paid a salary to do what they're not doing.

Verizon is the worst phone company I had t mobile and I move to Verizon and what a mistake! Now I can't go back to T-MOBILE because I got 2 phones on payments
Their service is terrible every day internet fail where others watching YouTube I can't because no internet I went on a 20 hours trip during that trip I probably had signal 50% of the time while my brother in law has metro pcs and I had to use his GPS because no sinal on Verizon phone any other company be better than Verizon
